Yeah definitely be careful when in this realm. I've seen MiB in lucid dreams/OBEs, and just like in the Matrix films, these agents are extremely powerful and should be avoided. Many people would haphazardly fight one of these entities, but doing so without the proper energy containment field could spell disaster, bringing on a whole host of negative outcomes (greater emotional instability, fatigue, irritability, the list goes on and on).
Although I've avoided fighting these entities, my thought when encountering them was to find a pair of good sunglasses, just like in the film.
Let me just tell you this: I haven't read alot of astral defense techniques, so this could be innaccurate or distorted in some way.
The wearing of sunglasses as a defensive measure in the astral realm is analogous to the technique of "cloaking", whereby you shield your energy from being directly perceived, resulting in an extra barrier that makes them one step behind you, as they can only react, not predict, what your next movement will be. It's kind of like in a poker game, to ensure you don't reveal your thoughts, hopes, and doubts about your hand through the movements of your eyes.
Put on the "sunglasses", shield yourself, shift your perception. This entities can be avoided entirely with proficient levels of cloaking, which is probably the most important technique to learn before beginning any work in the astral realms. Yes, you can dedicate your journeys to fighting these entities, but it's quite hopeless considering they can just take on another form at another time and in another place. The ultimate purpose of this technique is learning how to form a proper energy containment/resonance field to avoid these entities entirely.
And whenever you're in a bind, take a breath and clear your mind. When I saw the MiB dude walking across my front lawn, that's what I did. The next moment I was at the spot where I agreed to be.
However, there will come a time when entities of a "higher" order will notice this development of your energy, and thus it's a given that you will at some point encounter one of these beings that'll break through your energy field, and you'll have to do something. What I've learned through dreaming is whenever you're under attack, "audiolize" a sound barrier being formed around you, so that your perception becomes imbued with a high frequency sound. Any sound will work as far as I can tell, just as long as you're able to focus upon it.
I'm currently researching the note that is the "Love frequency". My hunches tell me it's the C-note. The reason why I'm asking is because if you were to combine this note with overwhelming love within your energy field, the little negs would flee as their frequency would be so incompatible they'd be forced to stop and retreat, or hit the brick wall you've formed. Any ideas?

Astral projection doesn't seem very safe these days. The astraldynamics.com forum is full of members who bought the books and began OBE exercies and wound up with all sorts of crazy neg problems. I haven't downloaded the video but I hope it offers some instruction on how to protect and defend yourself before actual instruction on how to conduct a successful OBE begins.

I was just reviewing the saltcube.com site noticed the sidebar and near the top is a plea for help from a member who's experiencing a typical response after a few astral projection adventures. A forced OBE -- that's no fun. While you're waiting to download the video check out the responses this person is getting in the Spiritual category, under "Astral Attacks." Someone has surmised that he's being attacked by Voldemort.

There is a down-loadable video that teaches OBE and Lucid dreaming, which Im considering purchasing. There are a few excerpts that you can watch and the way this guy is presenting OBE and Lucid Dreaming is unlike anything ive seen before and makes alot of sense.

I'd love to hear other peoples opinions on this.
