I visited a friend today, and needed to borrow his phone. However, I took a hint and decided not to.

The reason was the name of the phone... Check it out here. Notice the name in the bottom right corner. There was a version 1 earlier, but it was discontinued and then replaced due to undisclosed technical failures.

"Telenor" is the national phone company in Norway.

The name was probably used to attract attention of potential buyers of the telephone.  It's a 'cool thing' now adays with 'high tech' sounding names.  I bet that the unit has gadgets to attract all the high-tech geeks out there. 

I'm thinking of getting me an old rotary phone just for the heck of it...
