?nteresting. I think it would make sense. Pretty much the whole of reality is made of meaningful stories and this quality seems to be increasing as we get into 4D. I also believe reptilians could be "projections", the thing is that "projections" have been given a bad twist by psychology, as if they were imaginary, not real. This is based on the false idea that our consciousness "comes" from our brain and is somehow separated from reality. It also underestimate the power of consciousness. I think projections can, and do, materialize. In fact they do so all the time and our collective consciousness literally create the world we live in. A big shared hallucination.

I'm reading a fascinating book right now by Timothy Freke and Peter Gandy called Jesus and the Lost Goddess. This book is a follow-up to their popular book: The Jesus Mysteries, published in 1999, which proposed that an historical Jesus most likely did not exist, or if he did, not in the same capacity as related through the Gospels- the Canon of the New Testament. Instead he was created as an evolving allegorical myth by the Gnostics; the true menaing of those myths perverted by literalists (mucho hard evidence is put forth to support these assertions). The book demolishes the good virtue of Catholicism's founding (Not like that's very hard to accomplish. I even learned about the true motives behind 'universal' Christianty in my Roots of Western Civilization Class at a public university). This part of the book rehashes what was written in The Jesus Mysteries.

Jesus and the Lost Goddess attempts to teach what the Gnostic tradition entails, as well as the Myth of Sophia, the divine feminine counterpart of the ressurecting Godman Jesus. However, the myth of Sophia is not what sparked my interest.

First, let me explain the metaphysical system that the Gnostics believed in, which as far as my understanding goes, is fairly similar to the one proclaimed on the Montalk website. The Gnostics believed that there was more to us than just a physical body, and they considered those wrapped up in their worldly image as 'eidolons.' They believed that the body was a temporary shell we were inhabiting, and that along with the body, we also possessed a soul and a spirit. The soul was sort of a record of all our experiences in 3d reality. I suppose the soul comprises what is our nature. The spirit or 'nous' was conciousness itself, our basic essence. For example, nous would be the deep sleep state where we are nothing but pure consciousness floating in the black void. Our spirit is what is connected to God, or a spark of God. We are all in effect fragments of God.

Gnostics were in search of Gnosis, meaning 'experiential knowledge of truth.' They beleived the truth was inside each of us, or more appropriately, that every person had to work to find the truth- a subjective experience for each person that could not be put into words or related through our means of communication. This was understanding or knowledge of God- that we are part of God and that we are the Christ (the mythical figure used to represent us, the incarnated soul.

For iniates, there were three steps to Gnosis. First, the iniation myths. These myths would help "ease" the neophyte into the concepts that the path of Gnosticism would eventually enlighten him/her to later in his/her pursuit of Gnosis. As mentioned earlier, the Christ figure was meant to represent human beings- cast down into the material world, only to be ressurected and return to God. But they couldn't just lay that on a new iniate right away, otherwise he/she would be befuddled since he/she had not experienced gnosis, thus they used the myth as a representation, only the iniate took it more literally.

The myth would help the iniate to heal their soul, which would be the next step on the path to Gnosis. The iniate would begin to incorporate the myth into their life, and the myth would in effect "clense their soul." This is where Jung comes in with his theories of active imagination and synchronicities. Jung was fascinated by the find of the Gnostic Scriptures at Nag Hammaddi, and expanded upon the previously mentioned ritual to include his idea of synchronicity, or 'meaningful coincidence.' These coincidence or even incorporations of myth and reality were good signs of progress for the iniate in understanding their soul.

The final step for the iniate was the realization that the myth itself is not to be taken literally, but rather help him/her to clense the soul in order for one to experience the moment of truth when they have experienced God and realized that they are the Christ.

Now, I was thinking, what if this whole Reptilians/Illuminati thing is really our own myth on a road to Gnosis. The reptilians represent the cold ego-driven emotional side of ourselves, we have just projected them out into the world with our 'active imaginations.' In following these beliefs, we are coming to terms with aspects of our own souls in order to perfect them and become the Christ.

Just something I have been thinking about lately. I know some people here believe they have been abducted- my intention is not to undermine your plight.
.
