The 6th volume contains a great deal of info on Spalding (his life and works) as well as detailed background (with black and white pictures) of the members of the expedition. Interesting info indeed.

I own the 6-volume set. Very interesting experiences recounted by Spalding in this series. There's a quote I memorized from Nada in Vol 3 (can't remember exactly where) that resonates with me.

When you reach the Red Sea place in your life,
