Couldn't agree more! Nothing like a HUGE distraction to refocus attention away from failed terrorist plots, failed bird flu pandemics, failed military invasions, increased calls to impeach the criminal element in the Executive Branch of US govt . . . Trotting out some aliens might work wonders (or fizzle as dramatically as all the other attempts to ratchet up the fear frequencies in pursuit of world dominance). You know -- "Hand over your power." "We're the only ones who can meet this threat to humanity's survival." "WE'RE IN CHARGE!" (etc., etc. ad nauseum)

... Or are they just planting seeds? (Still). If you take the acclimatization idea as true, it seems like seed-planting is all that's being done. For all we know, if there is a plan for unveiling the alien presence, the timetable for it could be 200 years.

]]>If gcg is right and it's mostly the latter, then there's still the question of coverage...The story was fairly buried and didn't garner much attention. If acclimatization is truly the aim of the people behind Roswell, why not ensure that it gets repeated, national coverage? Or are they just planting seeds? (Still).
