In another post, I wrote about my accounts being hijacked and other stuff, so I mention it here in case you read this. When you Seeking the Truth wrote about this, stuff was happening to my 7 year old as well. Exactly as you described. Restless sleeping, turning upside down and outside the covers. Other strange things, I don't sleep in the middle of the night, somewhere between 1 am and 5 am, I'm usually awake. One night while awake, I observed my daughter tossing and turning and doing the out of the blankets and upside down thing. At the same time, in the clouds, much like the ones on Lyra's website, I think they are called lenticular clouds, you could see flashing lights like the ones from Close Encounters, lights going on and off in all directions but not like lightnening. Later, that morning, still cloud cover but the sounds of engines, but not normal neighborhood noises. Then it stopped for a while.

I have to sign off, the library is going to have a fire drill. I think Seeking the Truth, that when you talk about it, in a very public forum, that things quiet down. I don't think that whoever does this stuff likes being under a microscope. I call it the roach theory, when you turn on a light in the kitchen in the middle of the night, the bugs scurry into hiding.

Thanks for sharing. It helps.

I didn't know whether to post this here or on the other thread I started about 'them' not leaving me alone. But it has more to do with my boy this time, though it's all tied in. Family affair.

So for about a week now, my boy has been sleeping in his own bed. I didn't want him to. Especially not now. But he was okay with it. For the first few nights, he did really well and slept thru the night.

Well, yesterday morning he came into my bedroom after his dad had left for work. He told me he was scared, so I let him climb into bed with me. That was like 5 in the morning. No big deal. I'd rather sleep with him than with hubby anyways.....

So last night, he slept in his bed again. But he was still awake when I came into the house. He said he was scared to sleep alone, so I layed with him and rubbed his back until he fell asleep.

Recently, I've been doing my thing at night, building a shield and asking for protection and whatnot. Well, I usually ask for the help and protection of my non-physical guides and helpers. I have also been calling my son's non-physical protectors, and asking them to watch over him while he's sleeping. And the last thing I do (and just added a few days ago) is to command/intend/ask my HS and my subconscious to wake me up before/if anything weird is getting ready to happen, or when/if there are any strangers, physical or transdimensional, in my house while I'm sleeping.

So....last night I'm laying there asleep and wake up because I had to go to the bathroom. This is nothing unusual; I almost always wake up at least once for the potty room. I have gotten into the habit of looking at the time when I do this.

Well, last night when I got up, the clock said 3:20. I went to the bathroom and was going to go back to bed when I had the urge to check on my boy. I went into his room and found him on top of his comforter, with his feet on his pillow and his head towards the foot of the bed. Now, when I layed with him earlier, he was all tucked in under the sheet and comforter. I realize that my son is an octupus when he's sleeping, but that's limited to kicking me, kneeing me, or just flapping his arms over and hitting me in the face. I slept with him for a long time so I know his sleeping habits. Not once has he ever uncovered himself and turned around backwards in his bed. Not once.

I can tell you this: I had a hard time falling back to sleep when I found him in that position. I have a very bad feeling that they were in the process of doing something or taking him or something when I woke up. It was like he was dumped back on the bed in a hurry or something. I am SOOOOO thankful that I woke up when I did..... Then this morning, before his dad even got out of bed, he woke up and came into our room because he was scared. Hubby let him get into bed and I snuggled close to him.

From now on, I will always make sure to tell my subconcious to wake me up like that if there's someone in my house. It seems like it worked. I don't know. Maybe it was just a fluke, but I doubt it....

I really don't want him to sleep alone, but I guess it doesn't matter too much. If I don't intend for protection or build a shield or intend to wake up, then he can be screwed with even while he sleeps next to me. Especially if I'm being messed with at the same time.

When does the madness end? When I die?

Hi there, ideascubed! I like your name. Thanks for the response to the thread and for the names of the books. I will look for them.

Just the other day, the fam was talking about dreams, and I was explaining lucid dreaming to my little one. He pipes up and tells me that he does that (lucid dream)! I was blown away. I mean, I have been trying to explain to him that he has control over his dreams and once he realizes he's dreaming, he can take over. Well, apparently he's been experimenting! YAY! I'm really excited. I know that kids can lucid dream quite easily unless they've been indocrinated with social stigma against anything "weird". So I'm really trying to be open and supportive with this. But every morning since the nightmares, he tells me he didn't dream that night. I just think he doesn't remember them, but who knows?

---------------

Hey lilmomma!! I bought the book you were talking about. After Lyra mentioned "Phoenix Rising" and you talked about the moonbeam book, I went to Amazon and ordered both of them. Thanks so much for the suggestions, both to you and Lyra. I don't know when I'll start reading them, though, since I've gone off the deep end and am reading all sorts of whacked out stuff. My mind is about to explode! I'm reading Rudolf Steiner right now. Whew! Talk about some heavy stuff....

Oh, and get this! I went 3 hours away last week to see a healer. On the way there, I saw no less than FIVE boats for sale. No shit! 5 boats on the way to see someone. All for sale. One of them was a small fishing boat, but the rest were bigger ones with motors. What's up with this!??? Am I being given hints? Chances? Well, I don't know about chance. I don't have the $ to buy a boat! Ah well. At least I know the shit's going to hit the fan. I may be too friggin broke to do anything about it, but I can say that I saw it coming!

Wow, Seeking, your thread is amazing and inspired me to actually register and join in, as opposed to just lurking and reading. I, too had a dream, more like yours than your son's, with water sloshing in through our sliding glass doors, and rising to the windows and sloshing in through them. I had the dream, and it felt so much like my precog dreams about hurricanes, tsunamis, etc., that I woke up and went whoaaa. Then I read your post about your son's dream. And the synchronicity astounded me. And then, the dream happened several more times and was so on the mark with yours that I decided I would let you know about it. Our area has had mass flooding several times in '93 and 95. Our house didn't flood, although I have a cool pix of a guy canoeing on our sidewalk. And generally if it's really a precog dream, (which it just felt like, sorry about the amibiguity) my precog dreams seem to have a 3 month lead on the dream becoming real.

Maybe Barefoot Doc, as you pointed out, it's just tuning into the UK floods or the Texas, Oklahoma, etc. I hope all who have experienced or will experience natural disasters can make lemons out of lemonade. We are rebuilding from a tornado that hit our house from Wilma. I am so grateful that the roof flew off and in spite of losing everything, we have our lives, each other, an opportunity for all new stuff, and best of all--!Our electrical wiring which was cloth covered and aluminum thread like wiring is replaced. The old wiring was a fire hazard and showed signs of some little burn marks when we pulled down the walls.

There is a great book out there, Seeking, several, in fact, that are children's meditations. I read it to my middle daughter when she was little and had nightmares frequently. Drats, I can't remember the name, except that the flavor of the meditations were native american, in that the garden had a tree, like a Grandmother Willow tree. They were beautiful little blurbs and really helped my daughter. As soon as I can find it, I'll let you know what the name of the books are.

I'm glad your son's nightmares have quieted down and it's such a shame that he has them. I had a lot of terrible nightmares when I was your son's age. Somewhere along the way (about age 6), I figured out about choice in my nightmares, and I could choose to change them, like (and this is really weird that I can remember this so vividly!) being a director of a film saying cut, I don't like this dream, change it to this kind of dream!;) I'm trying it with my youngest who's 7 and having some challenging dreams.

Thanks so much for posting and everybody's comments. It really has helped me to not feel so freaked out by the experiences. T.

I didn't know about the flooding in the UK. At the same time, though, Texas is flooding, as well as Oklahoma I think. Fun stuff there, huh?

Well, my boy just told me yesterday that he hasn't been dreaming at all. I told him that he usually dreams, but just doesn't remember them. But he swears up and down that he hasn't been having any dreams. So I don't know.

But last night as I was thinking about it, I had a memory flood up. One that I totally blocked out for a while. When my boy was just 3 or 4, he woke up one morning from a nightmare. He came out of his room and stood at the doorway to the bathroom. He looked scared and upset. When I asked him what was wrong, he burst out into tears and said, "Mommy, I don't want to die." So I'm kinda freaking, and ask him why he said that. He didn't answer. All he said was that he didn't want everyone to die. When I questioned him about that, he told me that he had a dream where not only did he die, but everyone else did, as far as he could see. He was so upset. All I could do was hold him and try to calm him. I told him that dreams don't always come true, etc. etc. He was not comforted. He just kept saying how he didn't want all of us to die. And this is two full years before the flood dreams, though I don't know exactly how long he's been having those specific ones.

Now this was not just a dream where mom or dad dies and he's upset. He was clearly telling me that in his dream, everyone died.

Like I said before, I don't know what his dreams mean, but I hope they're just bad figments of his dream-time world.

Thanks again, everyone, for your replies.

I had the Boy circumcised, regrettably (=major understatement!) and ya, he did have night terrors like you describe (couldn’t wake up, hollering, thrashing, crying, etc.) even at that age. But then again, so did my daughter. If memory serves, that type of thing occurred off and on until they reached school age. This was long, long, LONG before I ever gave any serious thought to the fringe side of life, though, so I don’t remember any details. They’re both still vivid dreamers to this day but they don’t seem to have those terrors like they used to. I plan to go and buy them each a dream journal soon.

I’ll never forget this one night we’d been out late somewhere with Mum who was in town visiting (my mother-in-law; not to be confused with Mom ). The Boy was in his preschool years at the time. Anyway, he’d fallen asleep on the way home so I carried him up into the house. When we got inside I set him down in the living room to take off his jacket and he seemed awake until Mum started talking to him. He looked over at her, chin down, with this evil glare in his bloodshot eyes and then he growled at her, reeeaal low and deep. Talk about freaky! Seriously, it was scary. It wasn’t long after that when she bought him Mountains, Meadows and Moonbeams by (guess who) Mary Summer Rain. So that’s my suggestion to you; pick up a copy of that book. I haven’t read it in ages, mind you. I don’t even know where ours is, I packed it away so long ago. Chick (the Girl) asked me about it a couple weeks ago so I’m going to see if I can dig it up for her this weekend.

BTW, I love your “SMALL, SMALL, SMALL!!” technique. And as for whether the dreams are past life memories or premonitions, I haven’t a clue. (I’m still pondering the whole reincarnation thing myself ). But just in case, investing in a boat might not be such a bad idea after all…they’re tons of fun anyway. No need to go and build an ark or anything…yet .

I’d be interested to hear what your little man has to say about other things he sees in the dreams, too, like calpamu said, so do keep us posted.

Hi guys. Thanks for the responses so far. I feel like I'm doing okay with keeping him open to talking to me. I always hate it when I hear of parents brushing off comments that their child says. I listen carefully to everything he says, and he's said some pretty weird stuff. Not stuff a small one talks about, for sure. I think he feels that he can talk to me about anything. I haven't probed him for specifics on the flood dream yet. I might approach that today. He did tell me this morning that he didn't have that dream last night. In fact, he says he didn't have any, except one where he had his own horse and we lived on a farm. I wish that one would come true!

But yeah, when he was just a couple weeks old and having night terrors, it just about killed me. There was nothing I could do. He wouldn't wake up and he was not comforted by me holding, rocking, and soothing him. That's why I call them terrors, rather than nightmares. Even now, I cannot wake or calm him while he's having one. He thrashes and kicks and grunts and groans. Sometimes, he cries. I feel so sorry for him. He may end up doing what I did as a child; just repressing the dreams and purposely not remember them.

I've read about the pole shift and a couple prophesies that have shown the huge 'river'. But like I said, my boy has never paid attention to what I'm researching. I really do think that he's remembering past lives, accessing the akashic, or having premonitions. He's so innocent. He's not even been to school (except when we tried preschool, which didn't work for us) which is where most children get exposed to 'reality'. And we don't listen to or watch the news, nor do we buy the newspaper.

The strangest dream so far was about a year ago. He had just woken up and came into the office. I was on the computer. We did our normal wake-up routine (hugs, cuddling, talking about how he slept) and he sat down on the floor. I asked him if he had good dreams, and he said he had strange dreams. He said that he dreamt about bottles, really big bottles. I'm sitting there going, okaaayyy..... And so I nudged him on and he told me there were three of them. One had rocks (or something similar) in a bottle of liquid. The second one had two different liquids and one floated (I interpret this as water and oil or something similar that separates). The third bottle contained one of our friends. He said that our friend was inside the bottle with liquid!! Okay, now inside of me I'm freaking out a little. On the outside, I kept calm and collected, thankfully. I have no idea what that dream meant. Well, I do have an inkling, but the thought is so strange and hard to accept, that I've pretty much buried it.

Well, this friend is someone I've known for several years. We've worked together but he is friends more with my husband than with me. We're just not particulary close. He is actually somewhat awake, but he is not a truth seeker. I feel that we have very different missions. He's not totally STS, but he is a little, and he has no use for emotions (whilst I have been an emotional basket-case for two years, ever since I started waking up).

Anyways, I say that to give you an impression of the relationship. My boy likes him and hasn't had a bad experience with him. Well, around the time of the bottle dream, he was afflicted with other bad dreams with monsters in them. I had told him several different ways of dealing with monsters and bad guys in his dreams. One of the ways was to use his "taser" to zap the bad guy away, and another one was to call out "SMALL, SMALL, SMALL!!" to the monster until it got very tiny and just blew away. So he was working on this when one morning he told me about a dream he had the night before. He said that he dreamt about monsters that were wearing masks. He said there was one monster that he couldn't zap. When I asked him why, he said that he couldn't do that to our friend. Apparently, one of the monsters took off his mask and it was the 'friend' mentioned above. My son said that he couldn't zap him. Of course not! In 'real' life, this person was a friend of the family. He wouldn't want to hurt one of our friends. So he was very upset. That really got me thinking about this person and who he really is.

Well, sorry about that; I didn't realize I'd typed so much. Just thought I'd share some other weird happenings. Thanks for listening to my rant and giving feedback. It's much appreciated.

Oh, and thanks Barefoot Doc! I have some rosemary EO in my box of goodies. I will try that tonight, for sure!
