For everyone, I really recommend this album "Satori" (enlightenment) by the Flower Travellin' Band from Japan.  They're like an eastern Led Zeppelin. I'm also diggin' Hound Dog Taylor.  It's so hard to find a band worth listening to nowadays... you sure can't find it on the radio. (besides those late night shows with eclectic DJs)

I like all types of music, even the "darker" types, but I think it's good for people to understand music has a HUGE influence on our state of being.  I think the music effects us way more than the lyrics, though they are important too. 

But I have to say that I have yet to hear any rap music (not lyrics) of a quality that would raise, rather than lower my energetic state.  I'm not saying it's not there, I just haven't heard it.  To me, it's like the music industry is saying "How unmelodic can we make this"?  IMO, samples don't count.

I believe you though that it's out there, and this is why:  I thought for years that guitar playing was becoming a lost art.  In new pop and rock music it is very rare to hear a guitar lead.  If you do it's not difficult to play.  I go to concerts to see 70's acts and the opening bands, if they get radio play, they usually do not play well compared to their "along in age" counterparts.  Then I went to Nashville and saw some country and rock acts.  The talent blew me away, and I mean people playing 1 hour gigs with no cover!  I'm like "why aren't the talented people making it?"  Now, I don't know a lot about mainstream country, but it really makes me wonder -- I've never been to LA, but if you go there is there is there club after club of knock-you-on-your-butt talent that the record companies to see fit to support?  It's too bad because I think a good guitar lead can really raise consciousness, for example Jimmy Page in Ten Years After.

I can take this literally. I have always "felt" immediately where a music piece flows and takes my consciousness to. So, I stick to 70's progressive & symphonic rock which can ascend you, not descend or stick to some dark energies/feelings.

     Most rap, is crap. But there are good people channeling STO sources in all avenues...

A local portland dj "DJ Wicked" did a mix disk titled "f*ck the Radio" not to long ago. CD was alright, but the message was great.....

Some of the radio stations have a few good shows now and then anyway, but more often just nonsense......

To think that what the radio is feeding you is the best out there......well just don't become too narrow minded because of it.

There are indeed "powerful forces for good" that are as determined to free us from the trap of illusory existence as there are forces of entropy (evil) that would sustain this material, holographic STS world indefinitely. The outsiders (called Wanderers by Ra and the Renegade Family of Light by the Pleiadians)  have chosen to incarnate on Earth in great numbers at this time so as to break the stranglehold of negativity that claims dominion over this sector of reality. 

Thought, awareness, vibration, sound, and light impact (form, mold) the physical properties of material creation.  It is no accident that dark energies promote "music" with either guttural sounds that awaken primitive, lizard-brain feelings or shrieking atonal sounds and rhythms that distress the body complex and assault the higher mind. The dark controllers understand the importance of jamming circuitry within the mind/body complex and drawing consciousness away from the natural evolutionary spiral that is at work at this time.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out the dark have met some powerful opposition in their plans for world domination.  The sheer preposterous desperation of tactics used to "control" reality and undermine individual efforts to break free demonstrate there is more than one force at work, with the opposing force at least as powerful as the "dominant" negative force working so feverishly to enslave all aspects of material creation.

Very close indeed, fasinating, this is exactly were my thoughts have been.
When we do make that connection, when the awareness is raise, when the higher self speaks, when we are in tune, it is very alien but very beautifull.
An understanding of how this life experience is meant to be lived and broken or completed.
When complete it is time to move on into the Infinite.
