The Lemurians utilized the stars in many ways : gazing upon them, journeying to them in astral form, utilizing them in ritual when there was a particular essence or focus needed in that which was carried on at night. These were usually moonless nights, but occasionally lunar influence was also part of the ritual.

             The Atlanteans sought out information. They looked at the spiritual essence and capabilities of the stars. They then discovered many technological ways which could be used to emphasise, strengthen, and bring these into greater form. Many of the techniques they utilized caused difficulty in the long term, and we have not commented on or described them. They usually utilized resonating crystals to form a latticework at an aetheric level that transfers or translates the star's energy into a new form that can then be captured in various different ways utilizing oscillating crystal matrices or various technological devices. These were also employed in producing energies that could later be applied for the movement of specific DNA patterns.

             However the techniques that were far simpler, the mere capturing of these starlight energies such as into water, these techniques were utilized in the early technological development of the Atlantean civilization. Some Lemurians did not find this acceptable. They said :"You are missing the point, you are missing the ritual, the awareness, the direct connection with these stars." They did not understand that many of these Atlantean beings had lost their inner connection with their will and with the Earth and their own understanding of themselves as Earth beings. As a result the Atlanteans needed a deeper and more powerful spiritual awareness, thus merely meditating on the stars was not sufficient for some of these Atlanteans.

             In their own way then both civilizations and societies were deficient. The Lemurians required forgiveness for the Atlanteans, and were unable to manifest it. The Atlanteans required will and awareness of their connection to their roots and to the Earth, and were unable to easily assimilate this. People today in working with flower essences, gem elixirs, homeopathy, various herbs, and the star elixirs will naturally be working with all of these principles. In this way they will be touching in themselves both will and spirit, and developing a deeper awareness of the many attributes of their own lives, their own personalities, and their spiritual awareness. There is no segregation, no inner division, when you work with all of these vibrational remedies. If a person was to work with star elixirs exclusively, there could easily be a tendency to excessive development of spiritual principles without will, without the actions which occur in the day. But if there is a balance, if there is even a little attention to daylight matters, we do not see very much difficulty.

             The Lemurians developed a deeper sensibility and awareness of the characteristics of the Stars. This often began with inner meditative work. Then the Lemurian would reach out with their consciousness to the star. The connection to the civilisation and to the stars themselves was emphasized and initiated by the Earth people. Then when this energy reached its climax, its most powerful point, the civilization or the star itself returned the energy. It was as if their effort was well rewarded. This occured first with the brightest stars. A great development of musical form was then transmitted by Vega, this deeper awareness and healing by Capella, and deeper concentration and focus of mental energies by Polaris - all of these different things by the different stars, each of them in their own ways. These gifts from the stars have changed somewhat over time as the Earth's own rotational axis has shifted, various characteristics of aetheric density have changed, and so on. But back in Lemurian times, the awareness of these stars gave the Lemurian culture a deep understanding that they were not alone.

             The Atlanteans thirsted for this understanding, but were unable to always follow the path of knowledge which the Lemurians used. Thus the influence of the concentrated vibration of the star was of benefit in the re-awakening in the Atlantean much of his inner consciousness. So there were many techniques developed far beyond that of the telescope, but the essential principles of the telescope wre employed for the development of elixirs.

             Meditation on the stars has gone on for all cultures. Each culture has developed their own favourite stars, their own ways of working with them, their own particular awareness of this. The seasonal attributes of the various stars is an important part. The Mayans in particular have a great deal of lore and understanding of much of this. The Mayan civilization has been influenced by Lemurian civilization from subtle levels as well, and a deep awareness of this is an important part of Mayan culture. The Egyptians had ways of working with the stars themselves, and they developed various techniques of drawing in the energies associated with the different stars as part of their rituals. However this is just a natural sort of thing. The development of all cultures relates very much to their own observance of the heavens and their observance that although they are earthbound, they are still somehow connected to the light that they see in the sky.

Chapter 1

             Recognize that hanging over all of your lives as an intimate but often unrecognized part are the stars. During your everyday life on Earth you pay little attention to your sky. And at night, though you may be aware of the stars, you usually do not focus on them. Nevertheless, their energies, radiance, love, and upliftment, pour into you at all times. These are energies of a multidimensional character which provide vibrational change on fundamental levels for all people, animals, and plants of the Earth, as well as the Earth herself. Recognize that these are energies that you tap into unconsciously for the most part. So the process of becoming more aware of the stars, using them in various forms, and understanding their symbolism is one of an inner journey as well as an outer journey, for many of the things that they symbolize extend back through human consciousness for millenia and have influenced the development of symbols, legends, and the understanding of consciousness itself. Each star can provide energy, vibration, and a reflection of some aspect of yourself, which will assist you - should you seek out and request such help - in order to provide a new sense of your life, your purpose, and your coordination with other humans, plants, animals, and the Earth herself.

             Although you can look at stars within the constellations within which they appear and recognize the constellations for their zodiacal significance or legendary or symbolic significance, recognize that the stars themselves offer unique energies that have in most cases, especially for the bright stars, a component found within you. Throughout history back into the beginnings of civilisation on Earth, the relative brightness of the stars has been a constant. There are certainly relatively minor changes, but by and large, if you were to go back in time, though the stars would have moved a bit, they would look pretty much as they do today. So when you have this as a continuing influence throughout humanity's history, as if affecting the collective unconscious, a way of individual's superconscious and coordinated life form's energy being influenced by the same set of patterns throughout the centuries as anyone would gaze upon the stars and absorb their energy.

             The brighter stars are the ones of maximum influence. Part of this is that some of these stars have a greater brightness towards Earth. This will eventually be understood once sufficient travel well outside your solar system has taken place. There is also the way in which stars of greater brightness have been chosen by several civilisations, not of those stars, to act as radiating bodies for the important ideas that are described in the text. Some of these were influenced by a number of civilisations, some were influenced by the civilisations who call that star their home. But even beyond the brightest stars or even beyond those visible with telescopes, all of these energies are exerting an influence, and these influences are by and large beneficial. The stars offering guidance, upliftment, insight, understanding, and in most cases, a shift in consciousness for those who would attune to them.

             Recognize that the stars, being interconnected and communicating, do form as if an entity in and of themselves. This entity has its own unique characteristics - certain vorticies or interference patterns of energy which you recognize as points of light. These points of light might be seen as equivalent to chakra, grid, or various other energy-center forms associated with people. In this way you can more easily attune your own vibration to receive the energies of the stars. Thus what is suggested in this book are techniques for this, and the energies to begin looking at.

             The descriptions in this book are only a beginning. As you attune to a star in an elixir form or by meditating upon the star or simply by being aware of its energy as an important component in your life, you may then begin to open, to draw in new energies in yourself, and shift your perspective. The descriptions as given are not limits or limitations, but rather an invitation for you to explore in yourself the energies that begin to open and unfold in you. At this time, humanity is moving through a period of rapid change, much personal growth, and growth in larger areas of human function in the creation of new forms of government, new communities, and even new forms of families and relationships. Besides the continuing influence from past millennia of the stars vibrations, at this time there are additional energies now available from the civilisations associated with these stars that have a special interest in humanity's upliftment, understanding, and awakening. Over the next few decades, perhaps continuing until 2025, great amounts of additional energy from the stars will be available for many people. The stars will have a greater and greater influence, wether accepted consciously or not, on more and more people worldwide.

             Imagine yourself in a beautiful place, able to shift context and see things from a different perspective, not chained by past events. It could be in the clouds of Earth, on a planet far away, in another galaxy, but it is in a place where you feel welcome. This place developed by your imagination is actually separate from time and space. The imagination is important in your life in ways that you do not yet fathom because it often points out to you how to accept and work with something in a different context. This allows you to have a more complete picture about it. Imagination is usually seen to be something separate from your reality, but in fact it often gives you this other point of view that is actually more complete.

             The awareness of the life cycle of a star is fascinating to think about. So we ask you to think in terms of billions of years, and to think in terms of what a star would be wishing for. What would be involved in its life process ? It is difficult for most people to imagine such - beyond the sense of awe or magnificence or wonderment, and that is a good place to start. If you imagine yourself as a star, because you are light, you feel inherently connected to other stars, to the planets that you have created, to the civilisations that have worked with you, and to consciousness on all levels. In an awareness of this deeper sense of light in yourself, there can be the sense of outreaching, as if you are deeply connected on all dimensional levels to so much. This sense of connectedness then presents an interesting paradox: you feel this sense of connection, yet there are tremendous distances between the stars. In this way you can understand through your imagination the transcendance of time and space that a star experiences. In an awareness of the billions of years of the lifetime of a star, a sense of the transcendence of time can take place for you.

             Indeed it is theorizes by your physicists at this time that in the center of a star, gravity, time, and space are very different from the way you know them. This is because of the tremendous pressures and energies involved, but also because of the tremendous intelligence of this being. The being you call a star has such deep awareness and powerful creativity that it is the source from which the significant changes at physical and other vibrational levels takes place.

             It is good therefore to imagine yourself a star, to see yourself moving through a star, to imagine what it is like to have such patience, awareness of time, and connection to other stars, beings, and energies. But know also that there is a connection between you and your star, the sun. Although powerful in its own way and connected to so many other celestial bodies, the Sun is able to appreciate you and know you in your own way. Even though you may be meditating on stars at night, you can allow in your imagination a connection to the Sun on the other side of the Earth. The Sun is able to connect to these other stars in powerful communication with them, and in this way a transference of energy can take place as well. It is as if you utilize your Sun to help you know your place in the universe.

             There are many interesting things that can be said about stars, but the magnificence of such a being defies any encapsulation. What will be of far more benefit is the way in which people can discover this for themselves. By opening to the light of a star and being the star for a moment, they can know this in their own way by creating this understanding in themselves.

             This is the basic message that is also to be imparted by the study and understanding of the stars. It is not simply an interllectual persuit, it is not just for the purposes that are provided by each of the vibrations associated with the stars. It is to attune you to a natural way of being that is inherent to your very survival. The cells themselves are based on light. All growing things on your planet come from light. This light is utilized chemically, physically, and biologically, but most importantly in this way in which love is manifested as light from you. In your imagination, in your intuitive understanding, you can begin to recognize that the study of a star - the understanding of it, the playing with the knowledge and with the awareness - does more than give you a basic life force that transcends the other forces you are used to. This light is that which precedes the forces that creates such things as food, water, and air.

             In this way in which the Sun is your friend, it sometimes sheds light that you do not understand or that may seem to be damaging under certain circumstances. It is as if the Sun is incomplete in some sense and requires your understanding and awareness of love. It is not only hoped that you will develop by working with elixirs, meditation on the stars, and other ways of working with and understanding the stars, but also that you will eventually give this understanding of love to the other beings of other civilized worlds, as well as to the stars themselves and to your Sun.

             Because you have the ability to transcend space and time by your imagination, by your mind, you can make this journey between this place far away and the place where you are now. To a large extent, you have not put this to work in a practical, physical, manifestable sense on Earth. Oh yes,you have certain enlightened ones who do this regularly. But by and large, you are restricted to various vehicles of a physical nature as modes of transportation. However, this is also an inkling of what is to come for humanity. There are essentially three methods of transportation that are utilized by organic beings such as yourself in this galaxy. You may eventually take on as part of your being the most beneficial, the highest, the most beautiful of these. This is a way in which you simply disappear from one place and reappear in another. But it is not just by the forces of will or imagination; it is through magnetic, electrical, electromagnetic, and many other energies combined with one essential characteristic. This essential characteristic could be that of mental development, as in other civilisations. Yet here on Earth, this will most likely take place through a tremendous compassion combined with the most powerful aspects of your Sun and of your Earth and of your soul center. As these become one, there is an instantaneous translation in space.
