I did try the dream dictionary and what I read seemed to relate fairly well to current circumstances. When I meditated again last night I didn't see anything; I recon I made the old mistake of looking for something rather than just letting it happen.

My thoughts were jumping all around like a cat on a hot tin roof...could have been too much tea/caffeine late on and that made my mind over stimulated and unable to relax

Hmm...I was doing this on Friday night and I saw a Roman colliseum. It actually appeared as an image when I closed my eyes, and even when I stopped "going with the flow", it remained there for me to look at. Strange thing, the mind is. Use it wisely, you must. Oohh...

I tend to get extremely abstract moving images while meditating. They're very vivid and colorful. Is there any way to interpret these? or am I doing something wrong..?

I would begin by first looking at a dream dictionary, as they can even be used for waking world situations. However there maybe deeper meanings if the images are actually "visions" of some sort - in which case they could be coming from somewhere external to yourself.

I've recently started to get images appearing in my mind's eye whilst meditating. I don't mean the normal visuals that tend to come and go throughout the course of the day, rather they're clear images that stand out boldly and remain for slightly longer periods of time.

Last night I saw the side-on view of a thick old book and this morning I got a picture of a man who appeared to be dressed in a Canadian Mounty's uniform and he was digging a hole in the ground.

I'm wondering if these images are open to interpretation in the same way as those occuring in dreams and if so then it's a case of consulting a good dream dictionary, or are there other means of exploring them and finding out their meaning?
