But now, what Images they did attribute to the Planets, although of these things very large volumes have been written by the ancient wise men, so that there is no need to declare them here, notwithstanding I will recite a few of them; for they made, from the operations of Saturn, Saturn ascending in a stone, which is called the Loadstone, the Image of a man, having the countenance of an Hart, and Camels seet and sitting upon a Chayr or Dragon, holding in his right hand, a sithe [scythe], in his left hand a dart; which image they did hope would be profitable for prolongation of life; for Albumasar in his book Sadar, proveth that Saturn conduceth to the prolongation of life; where also he telleth that certain regions of India being subject to Saturn, there men are of a very long life and dye [die] not unless by extreme old Age: They made also an other Image of Saturn for length of days, in a sapphire, at the hour of Saturn, Saturn ascending or fortunately constituted, whose figure was an old man setting upon an high chayre [chair], having his hands lifted up above his head, and in them holding a fish or Sickle, and under his feet a bunch of Grapes, his head covered with a black or dusky colored cloth, and all his garments black or dark colored: They also make this same Image against the Stone and diseases of the kidneys [kidneys], viz. in the hour of Saturn, Saturn ascending with the third face of Aquarius: they made also from the operations of Saturn, an Image for the increasing in power, Saturn ascending in Capricorn; The form of which was an old man leaning on a staff having in his hand a crooked sickle, and clothed in black. They also made an Image of melted Copper, Saturn ascending in his rising, viz. in the first degree of Aries, or which is more true in the first degree of Capricorn, which Image they affirm to speak with a mans voice; They made also out of the operations of Saturn, and also Mercury, an Image of cast metal, like a beautiful man, which they promised would foretell things to come, and made it on the day of Mercury, on the third hour of Saturn, the sign of Gemini ascending, being the house of Mercury, signifying prophet, Saturn and Mercury being in conjunction in Aquarius in the ninth place of Heaven, which is also called God; Moreover let Saturn have a trine aspect on the ascendant, and the Moon in like manner, and the Sun have an aspect on the place of conjunction. Venus obtaining some Angle may be powerful and occidental; let Mars be combust by the Sun, but let it not have an aspect on Saturn and Mercury; for they said, that the splendor of the powers of these Stars was diffused upon this Image, and it did speak with men, and declare those things which are profitable for them.

Mars returns
At about 2 years old we go through the 1st return/pass of Mars. This is our first taste of independence and assertion. As it returns about every 2 years, we quickly become accustomed to these energies.

# 3 Years Old
Saturn squares natal Saturn
There will be a feeling of challenges and obstacles and at this age they will not be understood. For a young child, this is the first time they feel these energies.

# 6 Years Old
Jupiter opposes natal Jupiter
This is the first time Jupiter energies slow us down. This will create many frustrations in a child's young life.

# 7/8 Years Old
Saturn squares natal Saturn
We are learning about the world around us and we may find ourselves feeling pressure with restrictions from the outside world. Authority figures may be difficult to handle at this time. We may experience sadness and realize life is not all fun and games

# 12 Years Old
Jupiter returns
This is a new growth cycle. This can expand your ideas in life and yourself, but can also bring some unexpected changes. This may bring some challenges in learning how to adjust to new and unfamiliar things.

# 14/15 Years Old

Uranus sextiles natal Uranus
In the early teen years this transit creates a time for independence and separation from parents and becoming your own person. This is a very chaotic time for most teens. You are now learning how to interact with others around you. Major changes can be awkward for you to adjust to. Responsibilities begin to weigh heavy with possible family problems.

Friction is all around you. You are now beginning to realize that society can place limits on you and rebelling will get you nowhere. You must blend and share your life with others around you. This creates challenging energies with obstacles surfacing and can create some great frustration in your life. Look for the lessons during this time.

This is preparing the way for your first Saturn return. Individually has matured further now, readying us now for middle age to come. That awkwardness of youth begins to fade away. Neptune's energy will help change your focus. These are critical years. We are making many decisions which will shape our adult lives. Neptune adds the spice of spiritual maturity.

# 30 Years Old
Saturn returns
The first pass/return of Saturn confronts us, sobers us, challenges us and demands us to grow up. Who are you? We must now figure out a way to make our dreams reality. This is a time to move from adolescence to maturity. It can also create a strong sense of apprehension. This is the clean up time. Many people make some drastic changes in their lives during this time.

# 36/40 Years Old
Pluto sextiles natal Pluto
This transit is excitation. But this excitation occurs in a different way. We are all stimulated to make our mark on the world. This is a time of questioning: is this all really worth the effort. Yes, the effort is worth it and deep down we know this.

# 41/42 Years Old

Mid-life crisis is upon us. We are tired of being told what to do. These energies will redirect you to doing things with a more personal meaning for you. Now it's time to work on the things that have an internal meaning for you. People often make some radical changes in their life at this time. During this time you need to figure out what you really want out of life. It brings an intense questioning of yourself, your ideas and how well you have done for yourself. But Neptune? energies make it difficult to see where you are going or even if it's worth it. This period last for about 3 years. Wait for the fog to clear before make any decisions.

# 55 Years Old

This brings a lazy time, a time that can be good or bad. The experiences in life begin to gel within us. We know ourselves well and feel at ease with our own natures. We are gathering strength for the next Saturn cycle coming soon. The risk is we may sleep through these two transits and missing the chances they can offer us as well as not being ready for the next important transit, Saturns 2nd return.

Saturn returns, 2nd time
A wiser and older individual, this growth period is a bit calmer than the first time around. But this still is a turning point. We must shift gears and move into a new phase of life. We must accept reality to move from maturity to old age.

This transit can be a real shock. At this time in life we are force to reappraise our life and can make what appears to be sudden and unexpected changes. We look back on where we have been and look to the future and where want to be. Often we feel physically weaker and less able to defend our turf. Pluto brings friction to this time. We must harness this energy and give it meaning. Take advantage of this friction and grow and learn from it.

These are the golden years. Here we often find a burst of vigor, the fiery old man or the spirited old woman.

Symbolically this is the end of life. This is the complement of our individuality. This represents an endpoint. "I am not this body. I am not this personality. I am consciousness." This is the feelings trying to break through. Spirit exists independently.We have now come full circle. Few of us arrive here, but those that do, inspire us all.

A kind of judgment day has come. Life is staring at us. What great work did you do? What mark did you leave behind. They are sometimes hard questions and only a few of us will get a chance to experience this transit.

In anthroposophy, there is a notion that our cosmos has passed throught a certain number of metamorphosis, starting with the beginning of time (Chronos-Saturn) in Old Saturn, a globe that extended in the whole orbit of what is now planet Saturn. there was only pure warmth.  Then, after a cosmic sleep (pralaya) in a sea of nothingness (manifestation reverts back into non-manifstation), Old Sun appears : there is a central light (air) shining towards the zodiac signs in circle aroud the sun. This globe was all embracing the jupiter orbit. then after another Pralaya, Old Moon emerges and liquid dreamy state emerges. This globe extended all the way throug mars orbit (the canals on mars are traces of this liquid state of Old Moon extending through mars).

Then, after the old Moon, in our earth-development, Saturn was the first planet to be expelled from earth. Then the sun and jupiter were expelled at the same time. then mars. then venus and mercury came out of sun iself. then at the end, moon expelled itself from the earth and the moon was hardened to suppress the action of Old Moon backward-retarding forces. The expelling of the moon gave rise to our day-clear-sun-dry-consciousness, facing hard matter and experiencing separate individuality. Lucifer and Ahriman forces what to divert our evolution. Ahriman wants to bind us to mineral state and materila illusion,  but lucifer wants the opposite: he wants to pierce the wall of the matrix and make us see in clairvoyant visions the spiritual world... and stuff coming from the eighth sphere. This is highly dangerous for our normal evolution because with all these visions one would loose interest in normal evolution and have the desire to flee the earth and come back ino the spiritual, to flee from the long and hard human development on earth, a development that involves limitation and is absolutely necessary.

1)moon is lower, then there is 2)mercury, 3)venus (the first three represent the microcosm), 4)sun as a planet, 5)mars, 6)jupiter and 7)saturn (the last three represent the macrocosm). Above saturn are the fixed stars, the Zodiac. there the sun is considered as a star and not as a planet. Some call it the eighth sphere above the seven planetary spheres. But we must not mistake it for the spiritual dead end vaccum that is also called the 'eighth sphere', realm of Lucifer and Satan.

we descend towards incarnation through the gate of saturn, and we go back into the spiritual realms after death by passing again through this saturn gate. There time begins and ends, everything comes forth and is eaten back.

Anecdotal hints about anything to do with AC are usually less useful (and close to truth) than just making something up. The most dedicated and objective biographer (Sutin) couldn't find any proof on "V" either, so..

The AC story about "V for Victory" may or may not be true. The fact that it was revived as the Peace sign later lends only slight credence to it.

The AC story goes that he suggested it as a manual version of the "Sign of Apophis-Typhon" (antisolar symbol) to counteract the Svastica (solar symbol). Later, in the '60s, is was used to counter "the man" (phallic-solar-parental society) by "hippies" (open, emotional, childlike revolution).
