Bear with me while I attempt to reconstruct some of the symbols.

Being asked for help by a familiar stranger, requested that I follow her to the beach. Felt that I was 'needed' On the beach, there are two dream people bent over a log, carefully digging and scraping the pebbles away. I lean over and notice that they are excavating a human foot. I then look closer and see that half buried beneath the twisted logs is the rotting corpse of a woman. I then become aware of another figure, swathed in grey rags squatting on the beach very near to me, watching the 'excavation'. He says to me 'help her, she's not dead. I cant get her out, but she's not dead' I then see that the logs, sand, and seaweed are slowly rising up and down much like someones chest does while breathing. Things become cloudy from here, I recall having helped her from under the mess, and then being thanked by the cloaked figure, and then asking him how long she had been buried and how long he waited 'years' was the reply, and I could see that his skin had become tinted green and blue, as if he had too begun to decompose, but something kept him alive.

part 2

Im still on the beach, it is night. There are some familiar strangers on the beach behind me playing catch with some sort of ball. One of them tosses it over my head, far out into the ocean, which is mirror smooth and dark. As it hits the water and begins to sink, it begins to glow with a pink light that radiates outward and becomes duller and more subdued as it sinks. I instantly feel compelled to dive into the water and retrieve this glowing pink sphere. I hold my breath and swim downwards, very deep and the glowing light becomes brighter. The sphere is about the size of a cantaloupe, its surface is very smooth, an opaque, yielding membrane. It glows pink, and radiates a very pleasant warmth. I take it in my hand and swim to the surface. When my head breaks above the water, I notice that I have lost sight of the beach, and become slightly confused as to which direction I should swim. I can still here the familiar strangers talking on the beach, but part of me is saying 'they wont help you'. In my head I just want to cry out 'help me, someone help me' as I swim in the direction I think the shore is. I finally make it to shore, having not cried out, and still clutching the orb, I feel better at having made it under my own power.

part 3

again I am forced to 'fetch' the orb from beneath the water, after it is tossed in by the familiar strangers. this time as I follow it to the bottom, It fades and I cannot find it. There is another item on the bottom, some object that morphs into my hammer (Im a carpenter). I swim back up towards the surface, and somehow I am holding 'someone' in one arm, and clutching my hammer with the other. Feelings of apprehension fill me, and I can sense some entity or force in the water beneath me. Wanting to pull me back in. I find it physically impossible to climb out while holding this person, but I cant let them go. I have to dig the claw of my hammer into the logs on the beach to keep myself from being pulled under. This time, I begin to yell for help. "help me, why wont anyone help me"

then Im awake.

My questions really involve the pink orb. A friends opinion was that it was 'love' and I can see the symbolism there.
Another symbol that I see, is perhaps an egg, think of a salmon egg. so... Life... which could also be love (alot of similar ideas in one)
the living corpse buried on the beach and her faithful yet helpless attendant... I cant figure that one out.

any external ideas that could potentially provoke ideas I havent considered would be appreciated.
