The artist can salvage the piece if he reshapes his vision.  The statue of David Brower is literally reaching out from under the blocks toward the artist...perfect.

Maybe the art had the insight to form itself to its highest and best.

That last picture with the poor sculpture guy reaching for help... that's funny, ironic, tragic, and foreshadowy.

You said it!

But for 1 million dollars wouldn't it be nice if they had of used that money to help hundreds of needy people?  All they have now for their million is a pile of rubble and a trapped 'sculpture guy'...
