In the ancient Roman triumphal parades the conquering general had to have a dwarf in his chariot. While the crowds cheered and threw garlands and made the conquerer feel wonderful the dwarf would whisper in his ear "Remember, you are not a god".

Matthew may be right. A great energy shift seems to be right around the corner; I've posted about this myself. But _please_ remember that it is not just the "you" who brushes your teeth and goes to the bathroom and gets annoyed at petty things that goes through this process. Jung pointed out how easy it is for the human ego to become inflated with power. I would like to suggest that as this process continues we do our best to consider any new abilities we manifest as not "ours" but partnerships with something higher and wiser than ourselves. Building connections of love and compassion with others may also be vital for our psychological stability while this change happens. And one more thing... don't expect it to be easy.

A bit outdated - Neville Goddard from the 50's - but even then he was on track with his theory that the imagination is the basis of everything.
