Montalk, thanks for that link - the first time I've come across others who see the 'coloured dot' phenomenon. I've seen this since I was a kid. For me, they are always groups of blue and red equidistant dots. I do have some control over how they behave but as of right now it is limited (I can't "switch" their colours like others said they could).

Yes, I can totally relate to this, for me it's a bit like the "yin-yang" effect of something akin to a sort of battle between the two colours, always ebbing and flowing. I've always felt the blue is a different type of energy (perhaps light-ish) han the red (perhaps dark-ish). But, perceptions are known for being slightly skewed and mine could be no different in this case.

As for my limited control over them, if I want the blue dots to overtake the red, I focus on that, then they do very often. Sometimes have been able to influence their directional movement as well.

I'd like to know more about this, and if indeed it's step to see the morph... go beyond it!

ok i noticed this when I was small, but noticed in the past few weeks that it is such a gift. ok, when I close my eyes, I can make these small dots float in front of my eyes (of course they're not real). I very often get LDs by just focussing on them the colors of these dots as they fly around me. I learned that I can change their colors on command. For some reason, looking at them and changing their colors while I try to sleep gets me an LD straight from a WILD very often (im talking several LDs per night, usually at least one every night). This is the only method that has worked this well for me, im sure other people can do this too. Does anyone here know what these little dots are, or does anyone else get these when they close their eyes? im telling you, they REALLY help!!!

...and was trying to watch these throughout the night to induce lucidity. But every time I slipped into a dream state it would startle me into pulling back out.

The light blobs in themselves are probably phosphenes and increase when you put pressure on your eyes. But if you watch them for a while, you start seeing hypnagogic imagery, which are three dimensional images that turn into a wake-induced-lucid-dream if you can maintain your self-awareness. I think the phenomenon is similar to what's used in the psychomanteum technique to receive visions, by looking into a void-filled mirror inside a totally blackened room to create sensory deprivation and an altered state of consciousness. This skill of entering a fully conscious dream-state gives you broadband access to the "innernet".

I've never seen them with my eyes open. For me, they're in shades of purple.
zenden, I've been feeling a little uneasy over these last couple of days as well. But the meditation I did helped me out alot.
Try meditating until you start to see these blobs. Once you do, just watch the show. Once it gets boring, decide to step in and see if you can control what these blobs are doing. I found that the more I dealt with my fear, guilt, paranoia, anything that was unsettling me, and making myself feel safe through calm reasoning, the more the lightshow slowed... Once it slows down, it becomes much easier to control the blobs. Focus on the light patches, and try to make them expand until their glow surrounds you.
It's an extremely relaxing thing to do, and uses both sides of your brain to control the show. It helped me alot, and I'm pretty much recovered from whatever was attacking me during these last couple of days.

Okay I'll have certain times when I am in a meditative state that I will see blue energy like blobs when I close my eyes. They will burst into view and than disappear only to burst again. Also I can simply close my eyes just focus and see a spinning vortex it will disappear but another vortex will be spawned out of the previous. I've had a few instances where I am just walking into a room and I will see blue energy in the room with my eyes open. Sometimes I will be thinking over something about reality and see a pop in the air of blue, gold and white. I do remote view and out of body often with no training it's just a natural thing for me. I always thought it was just all apart of the awareness of the nonphysical.

and as im typing all my crap on another thread. i go look around, and lipstick is talking about the secret and the law of attraction in a brand new post, so i go--here we go again and i certainly hope--please god/goddesses, inner and higher self and the river that flows, please stop, or change or do something that has been weirding out these last 2 weeks since 11/27-12/5 and today is 12/16, right on the money, make it stop make it stop, make it go away. whatever it has been, its made me have fear, suspicion, paranoia, and its been all about internet things. when i felt it and then got to the bottom of it, i had been right in what i sensed all along, and it scared me for the first time in a long time. then when i got into it more, and felt the fear, i thot i saw stuff moving around out of the corner of my left eye so i looked right at it yesterday PM and it was sorta black blobby, like a blob swirl, low flying. at around 5-6-7 pm and its dark out. then it sorta glittered by thebedroom curtsins, real briefly right in front of me, leering, laughing at me sorta, going "boo" and chuckling to itself. going hahaha on u. it was all shadows, moving fast kinda wispy, then clunky, and stuff fell off of shelves, in the last 3 days, loudly, twice from way way up by the ceiling. my little dog even went WTH? then i sorta got over it a few hrs ago. got myself back. it put me in sort of a duality thing and i like all parts of me collected and under me. i have hated these last 2 weeks. net-wise. and even thot yesterday to not go on the net for awhile then i thot--thats stupid, cut the shit. and i am usually happy and powerful. somethings been trying to screw with me and it did and now its pretty much over. i think/hope/know. and the thread right under this one or in this section, says "its begun."

and when i read that about 3? days ago, i was in the oh no, and it aint good mode, its begun allright and other ppl said stuff similar on another thread with prickling and what not. its over for me at the moment and it better not come back. i know what u mean mongoose, but it wasnt the morph i experienced. it was bad vibes but i think when i let it get to me, it got way worse for 48 hrs. i thot maybe it was me scaring me with my own fears. i decided on that snd when i did, it let up. get us out of this time leak thing immediately i say. yuck and over/out.

I don't know if it's related or not, but if I focus my eyes just right, I see tiny "bubbles" of light shooting around. This is with eyes open, mind you, and most easily seen in sunlight or against the blue sky. Along with the light bubbles, there are several dark ones, perhaps one in 50 or so. All of these seem to swim around in the air, darting quickly.

Does this sound similar to what you see with eyes closed?

Hey everyone. Was just wondering if any of you see blobs of light and darkness flowing like a lava lamp when you close your eyes, particularly when you're in a relaxed state. Of dark patches consuming lighter patches, yet with the light always arising again, just to be consumed again. It also came to a point where I was able to discern faces and animals from this light show that was playing behind my eyes.
Perhaps it's a metaphor. Of darkness feeding off of energy, yet with this energy always arising again. It seemed cyclic, yet I was able to control this unfolding event through my thoughts, to a point where the light was focused, and could not be assailed by the darkness that surrounded it. As I focused upon this point of light, it expanded and surrounded my entire vision. Once it did this, the brightness dimmed to some degree, yet I began to see little pinpoints of light everywhere, as if I was looking into the vastness of space.
That's as far as I got. I know Stuart Wilde mentioned this was a step in seeing the "morph", but I was wondering if anyone else has seen these things.
