Wait-- that link to anti-virus shield works now!  Looks like I was wrong.

Before I install it, can you use two programs at once?  I'd like to keep Avast! running while I see how well the other one works.

One more edit:  Seems my connection keeps timing out when I use the download button.  I can't figure out whether there are too many people trying to download, or the link is no longer good.  Can anyone else use it?

The paid versions of KAV, AVIRA and NOD32 are the best in
my opinion.

That software is KAV!!  AOL just put a name on it.
AOL sucks big time, but that software is an exception as it
is not AOL made, it is a simpler version of Kaspersky rebranded.

For paid-fo A/V, I have consistently heard Kaspersky's is good, and recently I have heard a lot of praise for NOD32. Running anything AOL branded scares me by default :-)

Kaspersky is very efficient as it is updated almost every hour, and for that and other
things they tend to be first to catch the newborn nasties.

The comparatives gives only an idea, but in the real world environment
is a bit different and Kaspersky is the best, believe me...

Avira has a stronger heuristics and can detect more unknown virus, but
KAV is updated almost every hour and is almost always the first to detect
the newest v ­rus, so KAV updated is the best of ALL!!
