I'll agree with you here, since the changes are mostly cosmetic, but every little bit helps.

The problem is that the authorities that actually run the show aren't elected. The massive international corps don't give a damn who wins, since they've bought both sides already and will pursue their bottom line with a ruthless determination that would make a blood-frenzied shark proud. Bush and all his neo-CONS are just puppets - trained mouthpieces for the whims of those who are in control of these organizations, and if you believe that even one of them still has even a tiny fragment of a human soul remaining that isn't completely under the thumb of 4D STS, then I just happen to have a wonderful bridge in Brooklyn to sell to you...

The Reps vs the Dems is like going to Baskin Robbins Ice Cream but only choosing Chocolate or Vanilla because everyone else only chooses Chocolate and Vanilla.  It's pretty funny when you think about it.

Of course, my favorite is the "Marijuana Party".  Unfortunately, they are just too lazy to endorse a candidate.  And when they did endorse a candidate, they forgot to vote.

I am very happy for the Democrats taking the back congress, I look at it from the standpoint that the democrats and republican are two hands of the same beast.  I do however believe that this victory will lift many spirits and hopes,  that have been down since the Republicans took control in 1994.

Does having a Democrat in any office actually matter........when it comes to the really heavy subjects that matter?   Forget abortion.  Forget welfare and public assistance.  Forget taxes.  These are "BIG SUBJECTS"..............but they don't delve far enough.  This entire reality is not what we're told it is, and neither party will ever touch that subject with a ten foot pole.  They keep everybody distracted over the supposedly "BIG ISSUES" that don't even skim the surface of what's actually happening in this reality, and on this planet.   Who's really in charge here?  Why are entire areas of this planet no longer even real??   Forget that.......get everybody focused on the issues that Democrat vs. Republicans can present.

It's frustrating, and I could rant for hours, so I'll just stop here!
