I have a picture of one in my site, she is not totally black maybe because she is
old, but the ones I have being seeing here are blacks, the ones in the
Rio de Janeiro airport region are brown.

Possums here in the US are usually light gray, and I have seen a few whites ones in my day. I thought opossums were indigenous to N. America only, I didnt know they had them in Brazil.

Interesting information Goryous.
The only white animals here that I saw was a carp.

BTW, here the possum are always black, not even brown.
Here = Teres Â³polis, Rio de Janeiro state.

Not to be depressing or bring bad news...but I remember hearing India culture views white as symbolizing death. They wear white to funerals, not to weddings..something interesting. Especially considering all the current events around the world what do you expect is likely? world peace or perhaps mass death=many people are "peaceful" once dead :S Perhaps "peace" is mistranslated or incorrectly assumed it was a good kind of peace? I hope thats not the case..

We've seen about four anomalous white animals since we moved out to this rural area of New Jersey. The first was a pure white dove that mysteriously appeared out front and stayed alone outside of our house right after my honey's mother died, like a heavenly messenger of peace.

The second was a beautiful all white doe that arrived in our neighborhood at one point, and the first time we glimpsed her was during an especially progressive period of soul searching and spiritual "downloads." She seemed like a very positive synchronicity, and the few times we saw her after that, something special was always going on in our lives that day.

Earlier this winter a white (not a pure albino) possum hung out on our back porch for a while, taking advantage of the cat food we keep there.

And this year it would seem like the white doe has given birth to a baby, because we saw this cutie wandering around with some other deer:

She has some adorable beige splotches over her face but is mostly white.

Other than the possum who is, well, a possum, I'd have to say the synchronicities involved with glimpsing these other white animals in our rural area have been very positive times.

So maybe there is something to this whole white animal thing.
