We were driving on a fairly busy road with most people driving around 30-40 mph. Suddenly we realized we were going in the wrong direction and had to make a U turn. At the next intersection, there were two left turn lanes and my friend pulled into the far right one, even though there were no cars in either lane. When he reached the intersection he immediately turned and made the U turn, and just as he was crossing the other left turn lane, an H2 Hummer slammed on its breaks before it would have hit us at 30 mph.

Hi Baron!  Jeepers! Those were two very close calls!!  When you and your friend first realized you were on the wrong side of the road... It almost sounds like there was some sort of reality glitch or something.  Was it a road that you're both familiar with?  Did you remember driving down the correct side of the road when you'd started?  Thank goodness you're both alright!

That's another completely odd 'phenomenon' about these situations, too.  I'm not quite sure why there's such a lack of reaction when things like that happen, because (dunno about you) usually I get pretty shaken up when there's a near accident, but this last time I reacted just like you and your friend, Baron!  Odd, is all I can say.

It's funny that you mention knowing that you'll KNOW what to do "when the time comes", regardless of what that may be.  My best friend and I have been mentioning that from time to time for years!  We couldn't figure out why we felt like that or where we might have learned the things we might need to do in a dire situation, and most importantly, we hoped that it was just our imaginations and that we'd never actually have to encounter such a future.  She even had dreams of dodging in burned-out buildings, hiding from some military/alien(?), and telling her children to hide under the beds and to not make a sound.  Weird thing was, she didn't have any kids at the time.  Scary thing is... she now has the two children, just as they looked in her dream (same age difference too), only they're about 3 years younger than they were in her dream.  I haven't asked her about that dream in a while because I don't want to potentially upset her if she's forgotten about it.

Also, back in '95, there was a period of a few months where every day, while driving home from work, just as I'd get to the subdivision where I lived, I had a type of visual overlay (like a holographic image superimposed) on the existing area/landscape.  It looked like there had been some sort of massive devastation that had ripped apart the homes and landcape, leaving it barren and burned.  When I'd mentioned it to my friend (who lives two hours away) she'd said that the exact same thing had been happening to her, and that she'd also thought she was going nuts!  Both of us had such unexpalinable, ominous feelings that year, we were convinced that some sort of disaster was going to happen.  Alas, whatever it was seems to have passed without manifesting in this reality.  I now wonder if it wasn't a narrowly avoided future, and there was some sort of 'shift' that detoured our destiny.

What you say about being a 'warrior' is inspiring, but I honestly think it's just something that either you're born with or not, and there's no possible way to predict how one will react in a given situation until when one is actually faced with it.  I would agree that it could be a type of genetic trait, but I seem to be the only one in my family that is like that.

Thank goodness the driver stopped!  Your reaction was 'classic'!!....made me giggle, too, MM!!

its a darn good thing u got  going on there, when u go into that "emotionless mode."  i would venture to say u may be going into or ARE IN the warrior mode when that happens.  i think that is a very good thing and one most should aspire to.  it will be needed in times to come.  i do it too and should do it more.  it comes by just natural knowing and being.  may be of the/a bloodline.  someone else was talking of it or something similar last week, wherein they just know that they will KNOW what to do when "the time comes"--and that could be anything from WWIII stuff to alien invasion stuff to 2012 switch over...to whatever.  i think ur a warrior.  really good that u probably r.  i  think the matrix likes to screw with them/us the most.  keeps one on one's toes.   its sorta like training.  it sometimes can go on for days it seems.  i know stuff is in the air, thats for sure,

Thanks!  I now have begun to ask for protection (especially before bedtime) and have become more aware.  Very true about the fear, too... I always think of the Dune mantra.. "Fear is the mind killer".  Ironically, though, when it comes to serious situations, I don't react in a fearful way at all... I go into 'cold steel' mode... very logical, forceful, and calm, emotionless.  I read in one of your posts, Lyra, that you said something just like that.  I can't remember which thread it was in, but I think you said that you wondered if it was part of the MILAB stuff.  That really hit home with me, because that's exactly the way I react in high stress situations, too.  Just like the guy almost hitting me head-on... Normally, I'd be clutching my chest, squealing "Holy Shit, Meynard!  I just shat myself!!".... But instead, my mind went into a very calm, slow (frame-by-frame) analysis, and my reaction time was so lightning fast that I honestly surprised myself, and afterwards, instead of bellowing curses like a wounded animal, I barely looked over my shoulder at the truck and emotionlessly muttered, "asshole", and then I was back to my cheery self, like nothing had happened.  My lack of emotional reaction has been an asset over the years, but it also isn't 'natural' compared to the rest of my goofy nature.  And an odd side-note is that when there's any kind of negative paranormal entity or activity that's tried to attack me during the waking hours, I immediately go into that 'emotionless warrior' mode big time... It's not even a conscious thing... I just do.  Later, though, when I replay an incident my mind, I wanna suck my thumb and hide under the bed with my cats, but while it's happening... I'm cool as a cucumber!  Weird!

Yes!   !!    Not to the extent that you mention here, but several almost car accidents, yes.  Two within six weeks, and a third back in January that would resulted in some serious, serious injury, maybe death, depending.  As well as psychic attacks and nighttime heeby jeebies comin' round lately during the past two months.

Whatever it is, all I can suggest to you Pinkyrelyq is this -  Recognize that something is amiss, like you've done.  It's not just random chance, there does seem to be an actual ongoing issue here.  That's the first major step, just realizing that there IS an issue, instead of ignoring it.   Now, take measures to combat it.  Ask for protection, connect to positive stuff, do psychic protection barriers, whatever works for you.  Say thanks for the protection you've already experienced and intend that it continues and that you'll have that intuitive "head's up" to alert you.   It seems you've definitely got protection otherwise, you wouldn't be here typing this.     So try not to worry and become fearful, because that's the other major component of it all.   Fear and worry attracts stuff in like a magnet. KNOW that the negative does not have more power than the positive.  That is a fact. 

Anyway, just my personal tidbits to corroberate.
