I'll try not to give too much away for those Who haven't seen it yet, but the aliens turn out to be driven insane by their own hatred of their own existence, and that's y they r trying to destroy the earth and the human race. Wait no that's reality - what was the tv show about again?

You're absolutely right, I watched both series' on telly and Russel T Davies is clearly knowledgeable about a lot of the conspiracies out there. I think a friend told me that he read that Russell said in an interview that he'd been doing a lot of research on the internet into conspiracies for script ideas. Whether he actually believes the conspiracies I have no idea, but he's clearly aware of them.

Just about every single episode, so far, has touched on subject matters that have been discussed in Noble Realms in some form or another. Who knows, maybe Russell reads Noble Realms!?

One of my favourite episodes from the first (new) series was the episode about the alien that was in control of the only news channel on earth in the future.

I think it's being shown on the sci-fi channel in America and it's definitely worth checking out if you have access to it.
