U were born into a culture of lying and fear, my fellow humans. That experience drove u insane.

I don't blame u for that, of course. U did not choose to b attacked. But the fact is it happened.

So, now that u r an adult, u have to b willing to allow the experience of discovering the truth to transform u into who u really r.

Not the false self that u were terrorised into the habit of identifying with ("the foreign installation"). It takes a lot of energy to b someone you're not; that's energy u need for your life.

(Obviously, some on NR r farther along than others; it's just something that's been rolling around in my brain for a while, and this seemed an appropriate thread for it. Maybe it will help someone.)

to be a free-for-all zone where anybody and anything of any polarity can come in and incarnate and do their thing. Leads to a lot of disharmony.

Back and forth difference of opinions aside, it seems

we're being given a chance here to wake up to all this and to fight back. And that's a good thing.

Also, I didn't mean to make such a huge issue out of the "oustide" or "inside" thing.  It honestly doesn't matter, but our perception of it does.  I agree with feedbaxlow, when he said:

To trully reach the mental freedom one must let go of judgement.  Identification is different that judgement.  You can identify something subjectively and not be judgemental.  The problem comes in when one is being judgemental when thinking they are identifying.

This non-judgemental state must include all parties involved with the human experiment (most especially self).  Forgive self and forgive all others.  Forgive both self and others forever.  Forgive does not necessarily mean "turn the other cheek".  It's a wise person that ensures the other cheek never gets hit, without any free-will infringement incurred.

Identify but realize that while in the body none of us has all the information.  This ensures the identifying doesn't become judgement.

Just my thoughts.

Interpretation and perception are personal views I suppose, but the discussion and questioning of our own views (like a discussion on a forum) is what in my opinion, enhances one's awareness of one's own belief structure (if one is present).  I guess it's all up to the reader to discern how she/he feels towards a particular subject.  Yes, they may be looking for confirmation of their beliefs, they may be looking to gain knowledge, or they may be reading to see what others have to say, but in the end, it's a sharing of ideas.  And yes, idea's may be powerful enough to become manifest in our reality.  I don't find that we are being told that "this is the way things are" because at the end of the day, it is always our choice on how to live our lives.

Well said.  So I say, keep on dreaming!

But to conclude, it may by important to to know about any manipulation be it internal or external that's going on.  Not to say "The problem it outside of me", 'cause yes the ego does like that, but to understand what is going on and to take the steps to futher empower one's self.

But that dichotomy renders the truth in half and divides our energy, we are neither pure nor evil, we are energy that takes on the characteristic of what we dwell on most... or what we don't want to see because it is what we fear most and so are stuck in, by lack of awareness. Otherwise when free, there may be no lasting characteristics (to be interpreted from good/bad, right/wrong) freedom.
We create exactly what we fear to a large extent (!) and i wonder if we are not causing a whole body of fear/knowledge to manifest itself and "prove itself" just by believing in it and make that belief the most important thing in life.
Like i say it's interpretation because no-one would spend more than ten minutes in this forum who didn't see the value of the allegorical "alien within".
I don't think there is any doubt that these energies work in ways that resemble this, the point we seem to be butting heads on is whether this is too literally interpreted or not.
