I'm almost glad I have no vehicle to drive. One time on my motorcycle (Honda CBR-600, speed demon) I was on the highway catching up to the traffic in front of me, and this prick with a convertable (and on a cell phone) swerves out of the fast lane on the left-side into my lane on purpose, I had to lock my rear wheel at 65'ish, keep my bike from going completely sideways and keep the front wheel from smashing into his rear bumper.

That was the EASY part, the hard part was not kicking his face in with my steel-toe shoes when I rode past him (he didn't succeed in keeping me from lane-splitting through traffic)

There is a certain freedom about a motorcycle. I could pass people while riding ON the yellow strips seperating lanes. And the occasional highway race with other riders was, besides illegal and "dangerous", high-octane fun!

Anger can sometimes be used as a motivating force if it is channeled properly and not allowed to become destructive. Not easy in these times.
If it is not handeled well, it becomes self destructive and lodges in the liver.
Right now the stage is set for certain dark forces and minions to start faltering. It will be a reversal of things so to speak and should start to become obvious in the lives of some of us who have been aware of the manipulation and how cunningly it has been worked against us personally by veiled extradimensional sources. There is a housecleaning going on, but with many power brokers holding on desparately to the old order. This resistance is a type of inertia but will be undone faster than suspected because of the time compression we are constantly moving into.

This might seem like a really stupid "solution" for road rage, but it's worked for me in the past.... While driving home, dead tired, after a particularly not-fun day at work a few years ago, it seemed that I was driving amongst all the populace that had gotten their licenses out of a captain crunch box. I got upset and began muttering and then yelling things at them (but my windows were rolled up and I doubt anyone heard me). The realization of how absurd I must have looked and sounded just "hit me", and I began laughing... then again, I could have just tipped the sanity threshold and "lost it", but it had the same effect. The sound of my own laughter seemed to disarm me completely, but it didn't stop the idiots from driving like snausages all around me. So, instead of just yelling angry curses, I decided to amuse myself during the process by coming up with the stupidest cursing I could. Like this one person who was going about 15 miles under the speed limit (and I had no way of passing) was wearing this idiotic looking striped snow cap, so I just blurted out, "Come on, you Tootstie-Headed mutha-*bleep*er.... F-ing petal to the metal, sugar noodle!!"..... Well, you get the idea, but it got me laughing at my own stupidity, and it passed the time without driving me crazy with pure frustration.

Under other circumstances, though, I wouldn't recommend amusing yourself with creative profanity as a means to combat anger. What I usually try and do is to really try and think hard about if my anger will be worth the situation in a year (or even next week), while I'm taking deep and calming breaths. But that usually doesn't get rid of the angry feeling for long. It's a difficult thing to just stop once anger rears its ugly head, and I find that when I get really frustrated/angry, I have to literally pull my will away from the anger by forcing my mind and concentration onto a less frustrating thing or a calming project. It doesn't always work immediately, but with practice, it gets rid of that "danger zone" of anger where one is prone to saying or doing something one regrets later.

Lyra, talk about a synch... I've been reading Carlos Castaneda's stuff too lately, and just this morning, I used it to distract myself from anger.... wound up reading the same paragraph three times before I actually saw the words, but it did work eventually! (again, determined by logging/documenting, and others means.) Number sequences will be different for everybody and be tailored to the individual, and their meanings will vary from person to person. So what's "negative" for me won't be "negative" for you, and vice versa.
