Free_Your_Mind wrote:

May I ask, who is this ~~carefulcarpenter I see you always quoting?

"cc" was a project name for a spiritual journey of discovery I took in the pursuit of truth. Ephiphanies would pop into my head and the wisdom that accompanied was often in poetic form. I could sit down and a poem would flow onto the paper. As I learned to draw from the creative source the words soon took the form of aphorism. As I continued to post on the internet for various reasons the "carefulcarpenter" took on a creative power of it's own. I believe putting yourself out there in public has much to do with the mechanism which helps to dissolve the veil of fear that imprisons our spirit. Thanks for inquiring.

In short: the carefulcarpenter is an insignificant and unimportant sojourner poet of the internet; an artifact of a deep sense of curiosity and yearning for growth. "Where do creative thoughts come from?" is a question I pursue. These quotes are milestones placed along my path.

"Fear is a tether that enslaves the body, conscrips the soul, and compulsively lashes the mind to capitulation"
~~carefulcarpenter

"I am merely a grain of sand affixed to the flip-flop of greatness; I am graced that I have not prematurely been washed back into the sea"
~~carefulcarpenter
