I believe these issues resonate from the schools in our society and permeate all institutions of learning and working... In part, that helps to distort our identities and undermine the higher ideals behind education and service.

Nobody has a clue except for us 'kids.'

I remember the textbooks... so dry and lifeless, so matter-of-fact they seemed to suck my creativity.

What little good information I did get from them , or enslavement indoctrination 101 as a whole, I was like "eh" cool, next?

Not like I was bored THAT easily, but it always felt like the system was designed to bore the dullest of the dull.

The removal of natural selection so to speak, when it comes to the dissemination of knowledge, is it's bane. Good point you made.

I consider it nothing short of a miracle that I emerged from it largely unscathed.

I did what I had to do to graduate, and little more, graduation was the end of the beginning, sentence served.

In the years since graduation, (15 of them now) I have learned lifetimes more. I have also tried my best to separate myself from the borders of status quo, and things look nothing like they did half a life ago.

Your ideas are well thought out and I would like nothing more than to see it become reality, but as for the ultimate teardown and rebuilding of the system, Reality tells me those in control are happy with the current plan.

In the interim, forums like NR are likely to be as close as we will get to what you are proposing.........       J
