Celephais - you'r quite right about the quote, it's over a decade since I had the book in my collection.
I expect you can recite the whole text for me since you have committed the whole script to memory over night just so you get to write ALWYAYS in block capitals back at me as if I must be dribbling down my chin with senility or wetting myself with embarrassment that I don't always get it right.

Based on your assumptions about me, it would appear neither of us have the objectivity required to continue with this discussion as anything more than having an intellectual penis-waving war to the effect of determining who can be more excessively verbose. True evil does not reside within the spirit world; it is a by-product of physical existance, an effect that our brains and bodies cause. This evil is best termed as the shadow self, yet if one ignores it, is does not dispel it's presence. Only by confronting your fears, confronting your anger, your dishonesty, and everything else you know to be detrimental to you spiritual evolution, can you hope to transform it, and this transformation can only occur when one does not hide and run. It only occurs when one has the courage to say "This part of me is wrong." That is the first step, and the second becomes "Now, what am I going to do about it?" Then the third step becomes acting upon your new outlook.
And as we uphold this part of ourselves to the Light, there will come greater inspiration and clarity as one sieves through all the rubbish we contain.
And forgiveness is one of the most powerful tools. It is hard to believe in such things when the darkness is about you, but one must realize that true darkness is not of this world. There are far darker beings about us that normally we cannot see, cannot hear, cannot touch. A human is made to worship their shadow-selves by their environment, and as we change ourselves, as we change our environment, we will lessen the potential for such shadow-walkers to walk amongst us. It all comes down to knowledge, forgiveness, and once we have opened ourselves to our true creative ability, our true thoughts without all the crap that's been hindering us, we will experience true revelation.
The abolishment of evil is only natural when we seek to confront and transform it within ourselves. Without the egocentricity, selfishness, anti-social behaviour, envy, and all the nasty stuff that is promoted throughout our culture, this evil will find no power to sustain itself.
The change is about us. The struggle continues.

As for "quoting" myself, I often put quotations around words or phrases that I don't have the language (as language is such a shoddy form of communication) to communicate without inherently creating a polarization. As I would rather exist with unity instead of a polarized state, I hope to negate the polarizing connotations of such stigmatized words that I am forced to use for clarity.

Incidently, I would love to thank you for your presence, as you are being a most useful mirror in my personal development. Superiority complex and all.
