The limiting factors.....

It really is quite simple, but some of us, ahem! (me) need it spelled out. It is beginning to make more sense, the notion of creation vs. reality vs. outside manipulation.

Interesting ideas here...

wrote:

Hildegarde wrote:
But in order to bend Laws you need to:
*Be aware of the Law
*Understand the Law
*Understand the Law until you learn how to bend it
*Bend the Law. You can only do this if you understand how it works deeply.

So by internalising the Law, and making it a part of your Being and Self, you become one with it, so then you decide to use it or not.

*You should face evil.
*You can learn from anything including evil.
*Obtain knowledge if the benefits exceed the costs
*Quest for power = more power = more energy = more growth = more creativity = more joy

I've considered these thoughts for a long time and what the heck, it's a good time to share.

In terms of understanding Law, it tends to be subjective to those who are able to transcend it. The problem is that most have no idea about what they actually are doing most of the time they do it. Understanding consequences is the key to this sort of transcendence, since most problems arise when unintended consequences result from deliberate actions made to the contrary. This isn't always a bad thing, since if it wasn't for this sort of system, 4D STS would have overrun this planet a long time ago.

As for understanding law as we do here, consider that we're only seeing a bit of what is really out there. The real problem is the same one that is faced by our leading scientists when contemplating the universe. It isn't that they don't know a lot, they know a considerable amount of stuff and can postulate about a lot more, but the stuff that they don't know about is considerably greater, and the stuff that they not only know nothing about, but have absolutely NO IDEA that it exists at all completely dwarfs the previous two groups. The main reason is that our observations, reasoning, and thinking is designed for the understanding of our 3D experience, yet so many things are true "there" which have a very difficult time translating into something that makes sense "here." The result is that while "we" may see something one way and celebrate it, "they" may see the same thing and wonder how we could be so greedy/shortsighted and/or stupid.

As for the current discussion of Law and freewill, here it seems to be governed by what one can get away with in terms of our transitory understanding, but never forget that all things here create a resonance elsewhere where you can't get away with ANYTHING that you're even remotely aware of. It is then when you may realize that this life was just a test to see what you'd do with a REAL life.

Btw, IMO, "evil" is usually almost completely subjective, especially when concerning non-3D concepts. Bad for translations.

Consider: Is something that once caused you pain and suffering "evil" if it teaches you essential lessons which ultimately enable you to achieve freedom/transcendence? Loving parents can knowingly place their children into deadly peril if they know that everything has been done to prepare the children for survival in that enviornment.

Once the underlying principles are understood and applied, most find that flowing with the current is far easier than swimming against it. The trick is being able to "tap in" and find the eddies when you get tired...

-3G

I will continue to log in and read what is said, and i will still go into the IRC chat, but i feel as if ive found out all i came here for. You have all been a great help, but tonight i felt something, and while i cant really explain it, i will say that certain doors have just opened to me, and i understand exactly what you are talking about when you say one must avoid evil. A benevolence the likes of which i have never felt has just washed over me, and i feel as if im barely rooted in this world, i feel as if im about to float away. I hope you will continue this thread, and give thought to the ideas presented here.

Thank you all very much for your enlightening statements.

Goodbye

my goal in this isnt pure intellectual discussion. Im trying to shake some viewpoints, make people really put some thought into how they feel, see what they really think. I want people to take to heart what has been said here, and i want them to give certain things here a try. Open yourself up to new ideas. My advice is, Don't knock it till you try it, and you should try everything at least once. You have a good point hildegarde. If people are only reading this for the sake of something to do, its a waste of time. You can only gain wisdom through experience, im just trying to present some new things to try.
