Apparently google video provides .avi downloads of some of them. Would be nice if the google video page would quit crashing my browser . . . I think what you have to do is _not_ have the keepvid webpage window open when you hit the 'download' button at googlevideo. But then it still won't tell me the complete file size.

I checked a couple posts on that forum, and it looks like they have "click for fullscreen" links on most of the videos. To save videos, just copy that link and paste the series of numbers (which may include a "-" sign) at the end into a typical Google Video playback link, which looks like this: "http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid … 3552242731".

So, the Eternally Transient forum link to a fullscreen video at "http://video.google.com/googleplayer.sw … 3552242731" should be changed to "http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid … 3552242731" before you paste it into KeepVid or Video Downloader.

Do you know any sort of torrent sites that would carry these videos? I would like to download them, but as xvid/divx avi or something more standard.

What you'd need to do is aquire a bit client like BitLord or any other you may prefer and once you get it installed, just surf on over to a torrent site like Conspiracy Central (there are gazillions) and download the .torrent file corresponding to whichever video you like. I confess, this route isn't exactly tailored to dialup users but it still can be used by dialup users.

Well I'll agree with that. It's a topic I've breifly looked at and would like to come back to in more depth sometime. Maybe a good place to start is to read Pythagoreas. I have come across interesting work related musical scales and tones related back in to sacred geometric relationships. (440hz = A was a recent change in approx the last 100 years and some orchestras still won't tune to it. That 432hz as A was harmonious with sacred geometry). It bothers me when some people act shady like Mr Winters though, his supporter's websites address the case in broad strokes but not his statements on record. I'd think more highly of him if he attempted to explained it ("The conspirators put a gun to my head and forced me to say those things", or "they kidnapped my daughter and threatened her life unless I did their bidding"). Instead what I observe comes across as avoidance to me. That something in the claims against him does have merit. And I'm not trying to say that would invalidate all his work, but I would suggest extra caution when reviewing it. I have to tread really carefully with some of the stuff that goes into physics, because I am not a physicists and there's a lot I really don't understand to well. It still interests me as a topic though I don't really want to study it at a university level. In that respect I am one of the ignorant masses that could possibly be rather easily deceived by some flashy graphics, rapid hand gestures, some quick flashes of equations, and a charismatic speaker so when their integrity is shot then it seems like a lost game for me to try to wade through their stuff.

And I didn't intend to carry off this fine video thread into this tangent but it happens. And there's probably other video links that could inspire more of this. It's funny that someone else posted a link to google video for Michael Tsarion, because when I first referenced in my first reply "I picked a video, then went to google videos and searched for it, found it, and there's a download option". Don't worry about it. It's the general message of sacred geometry and the inherent Divinity in all things that is important, not the credibility of Winter himself. He may have even made some bad mistakes in the past but whether he did or not, you should not let that fact divert you from seeking the core message should you see fit to do so.

For reasonable findings of fact that are court admissible will presumably have been held to a higher standard of quality than mere heresay. Another good example of court harassment was the people behind Quackwatch (who liked to harrass alternative medicine) vs Dr. Hulda Clark. That lawsuit was thrown out because it was without merit. Something different happened in the Dan Winter case. Since I made the mistake of taking an interest in it, I guess I'm going to have to spend some more hours on it. I'll also note another link I put in there is from a Dan Winter supporter site and has much information and the "other side's" view point. So if anyone is in doubt what's going on, there's maybe several hours of reading from both perspectives to allow someone to come to their own conclusion.

I'm not so concerned about the copyright issues. But fair attribution of work, or if he took some bits of good stuff and mixed in pseudo-nonsense to mislead and deceive ignorant but well meaning people. So it is in a lot of ways a question of integrity, and I find this document interesting (signed by Dan Winter)

Now what would be really helpful to me, seeing that I am confronted with pages of facts, and a tangled legal proceeding, would be an argument accompanied with supportive compelling evidence. I'm sorry if this seems one sided but here I am spending my time trying to compose a post instead of just pure reading. My point here is not that I disagree with you, or think that you are wrong. But that you make an emotional plea:

Could we just take a second to think about this? Who are the 'good guys' here? The Meru corporation who is trying to collect legal 'damages' on the basis of some 'rights to information' law, or the person who is trying to teach others of the Divine nature inherent in everything that exists? I too have touched apon this fiasco of claims agains the man during my online searchings and I must say that it was obviously apparent to me that the claims exist solely for the purpose of 'shutting him down' and ending the spread of sacred knowledge towards which he so adamently strives. If the Meru corporation understood a single thing about the meaning of sacred geometry then one would think they would agree that the message certainly should not be bound by some legal mumbo-jumbo such as this.

Have you seen the man on the video? Look at the man Winter. Look at his face. Because it was obvious to me that he certainly held no malicious intent whatsoever. This is a classic 'smear' campaign cut and dry. A perfect example of 'scratched-surface' conclusion is what they will have happen to you.

It's a mine field out there for sure, so I was going to leave this much of my notes about it around. It's a good reminder to keep your head on straight and not take everyone's claims at face value. And I know the academic world is suffering from the same problem with the pressures of securing research funding and such several published and accredited scientists have been found out to be producing fraudulent work. So you have to approach volumes of work with caution and try to verify sources and find other substantiating research if possible to cross reference work and look for those cues on disinfo artists:

Now according to this site he is a fugitive with a federal marshall's warrant for arrest, and the drama and intrigue become thick. It's another lesson in deception and I don't know if I want to spend any more time trying to unraval this or not. It sounds like by Dan's own admission the results he uses his evidence to conclude to are false and baseless and that he holds little regards for audience: "my audiences are too stupid to know the difference,".

And I thought it was relevant here because of his spiritual writings and I've run into several people who hold Drunvalo in high regard. Very interesting to me how this turns back towards dark occultism and rich people financing front men well studied in psychology to lead people astray. It looks like this was going on for some time and may be old news. I don't know, this could just be my newness to some authors, info, and claims showing, or maybe it goes deeper and gets weirder still.

I suggest just going the Torrent route to those who are equipped for it or even the p2p route for those who are not, although I do doubt most of those vids will be available on p2p hence my BitTorrent suggestion as the vids will most likely be found in torrent format which will eventually produce a standard video format on your HD.

Then you can share with your friends even when not on the computer!
