I bought some gold today from them, but am planning to buy some more. Anyway what really got me worried was when I started reading about the Oil bourse that Iran is trying to set up. This article I found is a facinating description of how the US dollar has become the Fiat Currency of the world, even though we are inflating the hell out of it.

I will advice you to change traders for it is obvious your contact is using scare tactics to get you to buy gold from him. I traded gold and silver for a while and for some reasons many small companies who provide this service are not reliable and don't have a lot of cash flow. They rely on sell, sell, sell to barely survive. If you must buy gold or silver I would suggest to buy it through a major corporation. The fees may be higher but you will sleep better. In the 1980's small companies who sold silver went bankrupt when silver went from $4.80 to almost $10.00 (they did not have the money to cover evryone who wanted to cash in!). I got caught in the middle of that mess...

It is well known that George goes with his gut feeling and then prays very hard that he made the right choice, so anything is possible. Keep in mind that Bush may think that people will rally to his side if we start a new offensive.

In the end, you have to trust your instincts, but I thing gold is probably a good investment right now. Chaos always sends the price up.
