I agree with Starcat. Pretty much everything can be linked back to nutrition. Do you eat dairy products? They're notorious for causing hayfever/allergy problems.

I also support Starcat's suggestions of colon- and liver-cleansing. I had health problems which were entirely cured by these methods. See http://www.curezone.com if you're new to all this stuff, it's a great resource.

I've endured yeah round allergies for about 20 years now with varying degree in severity. Started as hayfever and progressed to the year round variety from seasonal frustration to a couple of years where I was really really sick. Most OTC options offer drowsiness for lame relief. Even if OTCs work for awhile eventually tolerance builds up. Anyway, BigPharm doesn't need my money. So...when my schedule makes healthy living difficult, this combination make a big difference in how I feel.

1) buy yourself some easy to use saline rinse (Saltaire - nationalallergysupply.com), not a spray. Sprays moisten but don't really cleanse. Some people like Neti pots, I think they're a pain. Afterwards keep the bottle clean and make your own with sea salt and a pinch of baking soda. Ahhhhhh.

I had a dr recomemend it and she commented that the first year they began the recommendation their surgery rate dropped by 15%. Wash out the irritants--makes sense. It seems gross but try it in the shower where it won't make a mess and you'll notice the difference.

2) take enough vitamin B, C and dose up on antioxidents. Allergies suck the B right out of you leaving you with that hungover feeling. Anti-oxidents help prevent you from getting a secondary infection or flu.

3) There are plenty of herb supplements you can take. I have had great success with a two chinese remedies: Bi Yan Pian and Pe Min Wan Kan. Both available on the web. Do take it with warm water as instructed on the package. Don't understand why but this is important to the effectiveness.

4) Dido on the Oil of Oregano. Don't leave home without taking it.

Hey there, J Dub,
I don't have allergies but I want to tell you of my mom's experience...she is only 43. She 'got hayfever' when she was 33 or so...seemed like out of the clear blue sky...no one else in her family had allergies. She's always been a 'health nut.' She suffered every fall for years and the Rx stuff didn't help her much plus she had this 'purist' idea of not wanting to take any Rx drugs. Finally, she started in taking Benedryl to help her sleep and discovered it cleared up her allergies at night! Then after moving from from Kansas to Denver, her allergies only flared up every once in awhile...She has now discovered Claritin-D and loves it, only takes it occasionally. She tried all the recommended vitamins, herbs, and homeos...but they simply did not help nearly enough. She and my dad were a lot HAPPIER in Denver (outskirts--still plenty of chemtrails and pollution! ) and she is sure that made a difference; plus she stopped GUILTING herself for taking OTC's... She says she believes that when she stopped worrying about what she was taking -- that helped her the most. Right now she rarely has an allergy attack...She knows the Claritin-D is there if she needs it. I think its fine to experiement and do what is best for you...just don't think you are 'letting yourself down spiritually' by not doing everything a la natural. Ya know what I mean. Do what works for YOU and don't give it another thought. It's all in the beliefs anyway. IMHO
Peace,
Summer

MANY allergic responses are " intestinal " in their genesis. They pertain to toxicity in the body and specifically in the diet. A radical detox and re evaluation of what one is taking in is in order in all cases. This is time consuming and difficult but worth it. Westerners especially have fallen into very toxic diets. Also everything else one intakes affects the balance...all vibrations, so negative media, cell phones, machine noise, etc.....people are assaulted with bad vibes and toxicity. Then we have not been taught the proper ways to deal with these matters and all those 2d telluric beings then get stuck in our various bodies and manifest disease. This is the price for stepping that far out of alignment with nature. Allergy medications are toxitrophic and attempt to suppress symptoms. No western medical approach deals with causes and the truth of these matters. Western medicine is parasitic.
IN many cases when a person is brought into a strong fast and detox state, the allergy symptoms will lessen notably.
Everyones needs and balance points vary and the task is to find your own through your own journey.
The ego will always want to eat what is not necessarily good for the body.
If you have never done a proper claensing fast, had a colonic, done liver cleansing, I advise all of the above and a radical change in diet based on holisitc research of your own situation.
