The entire subterfuge of this work is to perpetuate the light-dark polarity...one against the other for seeming eternity and convince souls that they have to suffer for the very act of taking on the cloak of matter.

We suffer because of our egos.
We crave for food, sex, tv, social status, knowledge
to feel proud, and many other little things, which
we rarely recognize anymore.
When the egos don't get what they desire, we suffer.
Most of the time, we give them their pleasure, because
we cannot bear the pain.
Today, there are many "easy-way-outs", so we take them.
That is mechanical suffering. We don't have control
and are a slave to the ego.

The teaching of Samael Aun Weor calls out to
eliminate those attributes in our psyche.
The egos die, when we stop feeding them.
This process means great pain and suffering,
because we have to withstand their desires
and not take an easy way out.
That is conscious suffering. To suffer consciously,
willingly and to be aware of its purpose.

When the ego ceases to exist, it cannot drain as
much energy as before. Anyone who works on
himself with discipline, will sooner or later
experience changes in the consciousness, because
he will be given the consciousness which before
was used by the ego alone; for purposes far
away from awakening the consciousness
to superior worlds and living for the good of humanity.

I disagree with your position Whole Heartedly and these are my final comments on the matter.

I know its all from the heart.

Most of us have good intentions. We want to help.
But this does not guarantee help, otherwise humanity
would live in paradise, because really, most people
that help are filled with good intentions.

Samael Aun Weor did not write over 60 books
in order to lead humanity astray. How many people
will actually read his teachings? A few. How many
will understand it? In fact, how many people are
on a path that leads them to destruction?
Most of humanity, isn't it so?

When others want you to do evil, they need you to
understand their concept in a way that makes you
think it is good for others.

Our egos do this to us.

To understand that, and to see it in oneself and
others, does not raise anger towards them, but
compassion.

To change the headquarters of the microcosmos
is of course difficult and requires much effort;
but results can be seen on the way.

The path does not indicate that we are either good
or bad, but both. It gives us the keys, to eliminate
all defects from our psyche, for the divine attributes
to enter.

Unlike our egos pride, lust, envy, fear, gluttony, vanity, jealousy, hatred etc, that
trap her, or the consciousness, for their own benefit.

I, for example, am less envy of those who drive big cars, because instead
I'm more proud to know things others don't. But it is illusive for me to
believe in a spiritual advancement because of that ego.
It is just another one, that feeds itself.

For initiates....whatever initiation really is.......the Goddess has to be integrated. She knows what doors to close and knows what ones not to open. She knows what feels off, and also calls a spade a spade.
She takes no prisoners. She heals all wounds and takes us back home.
