After the movie I was in awe.  The energy in me was flowing and my consciousness was expanded.  Over a couple of hours I was making connections through visualization and guidance.  I first looked at the Tree of Life which I never did before, save a glance.  From there I made the connection of the Tree of Life to the chakra's, to the densities, and then to Kundalini, etc.

So clearly it all came to mind with the masculine and feminine, pingala and ida, and the central path being the Sushumna.  33 came to my mind, a number that is always with me.  I made the connection that there are 33 vertebrae and thus why the Freemasons have 33 as illumination, as that would be having the Kundalini fully risen.  After that I was flooded with imagery in my mind's eye, seeing spirals, jacob's ladder, DNA, the steps of light, etc.

It was near 5am so I decided to lay down.  Usually my visualization is quite poor, but all I was seeing was geometry and esoteric symbology.  I could not lay down nor sleep because the energy in me was unbelievable and seemingly blocked around 3/4 chakra's, so a bit uncomfortable.  I sat up and began to meditate, asking for help and guidance.  My body began moving involuntarily, like a snake, spiraling at times, I just let it flow.  Again the disturbing sensations came around the heart, but I was feeling that middle channel, Sushumna open up and I just allowed it.  From there I was in a state of great elation, love, joy peace.  I was seeing symbology of illumination and feeling the energy flow, the electricity, my body losing its boundaries. 

My dreams were quite joyful as well, although sadly I lost nearly all of it, just remember some of it and just a great feeling.  It seemed like dream after dream was teaching and illuminating me.  Then I had a dream of entering a tunnel that was newly opened and knowing where to find an artifact for mankind and getting it. 

Today I've just been feeling great, lots of love, driving around and stunned seeing symbology everywhere.  I went to Borders looking for stuff about the Tree of Life, Kabbalah, nothing clicked.  However at the last minute I found a book called "Alchemy and Mysticism" by Alexander Roob and it has 500+ pages of colored images from art to manuscripts etc and I nearly died, haha.  I enjoy contemplating imagery more than reading and so I feel blessed to have so much material.

Haven't had those tears of joy come up yet, but seems like it's getting there The end in sight makes all the uncomfortable moments a tad more bearable

Hey Jedi!  Profound story and cool experience.  I can parallel some of your recent feelings after your experience.  Over the last few months I have had many experiences which have expanded awareness, filled me up with so much joy that tears would stream down my face at the utter brilliance of surprising oneself.  It IS like our dreams are coming true.

Hey Natural Mystic! Isn't it a wonderful time to be incarnated?!  I can remember when I read Carlos Castaneda's books and those incredible tales of power, how envious I was of don Juan living in such a magical world.   Little did I know that's how my world would become.   The best part is... how it increases everyday!!   

The tears really move me.  There was a time, quite some time actually, when I was nearly unable to cry.  Then I was able to cry when sad.  Now I have tears of joy and I LOVE IT!  I'll never know when its coming either.

The feeling to me works as a gift.  A couple weeks ago, my crown and third-eye had so much activity I was astonished, but most of the time its sporadic.  What this does for me is takes my attention off the mundane and reminds me of spirit.  So, whenever I get the tingling I snap to metaphysical attention.

My experience was at times amazing, but mostly deathly terrifying. It began with meditation. I was feeling a lot of energy beginning to flow. My upper body started undulating like a snake (I like to add this part happens at every channeling I attend, in meditation and when I dance). The undulations were growing stronger and stronger. Soon the energy flowing was so much that the side to side undulations were not enough and then my body added a spiral. My upper body was spiraling and undulating faster and faster. Sensations of energy flowing up through me were more intense than I can ever remember. Somewhere around here I started spontaneously vocalizing Om.

Where it got scary was the passing of energy through the heart. My perception of internal sensations was at an all time high. It wasn't a concern that my heart was beating too fast, it was concern of feeling different sensations in and around my heart. Like new tubes of chambers opening up. It turned dreadful as I thought I may have a heart attack.

So there I was with my upper body spiraling so fast I wish I could have seen what it looked like. I felt no effort on my part. It was perfect purposeful rhythm and whenever there felt to be the slightest blockage my body would intuitively change the angle or speed of its spiraling or manipulate my body position.

The thing that happened next scared me even more than the heart sensations. First of all my crown chakra felt so alive. I am used to feeling pressure and tingling in my crown, but this was a whole different ballgame. It felt like my crown chakra was blown right open, like it had expanded and was so completely alive and electric. Then all of the sudden I felt what I guess I could say my consciousness being sucked out, spirally, from my head. Fear and panic came over me as I felt I was going to die and so I fought it.

The next half hour went by slower than any half hour I can remember. The energy was still pouring through me, my heart and the surrounding area was still going crazy with those new and uncomfortable sensations. Each minute on the clock felt like an hour.

Even today I feel quite altered. My chest and heart feel different, it feels more open. While I still feel unease because it has not felt like this prior to yesterday, it does feel more free.

I was hoping you all could help me to understand what was happening. To me it felt like a continuation of what I've been doing for some time. I've been asking for guidance in unblocking my energy centers and in mediation have been working with this. Up until recently most of it was been taking place below my heart. In doing that, while the sensations were also weird and sometimes unnerving, they never felt life threatening. Yesterday it felt like I went beyond where I have gone in the past and opened up my heart and it didn't stop there, feeling it go up through my throat and to crown. I am left wondering what was that sensation of being sucked out of my crown. Was I going to die? Or just exit my body temporarily? A moment of realization? If I had surrendered to what was happened and allowed myself to go out my crown chakra (or whatever was happeneing), what would have happened?

I am not too sure how to proceed from here. It does seem my wishes are being granted with opening up my energy system, but I didn't know it would be so terrifying.

Edit: I'd like to add that since this experience I feel more aware.  I am also spontaneously crying in joy a lot now.  Everything feels sacred.

Kundalini Rising: the Creative Fire in All of Us

Once activated, it begins to travels up the spin in a spiral-like fashion - igniting, opening and purifying the chakra energy vortices along the way - until it reaches the brain where it illuminates, transmutes and transforms --- and if all goes well one becomes a master of self and is forever linked with the Divine Source.

There are many characteristics of awakening and moving Kundalini: subtle, electricity-like energy moving up the spine; intense alternating heat and cold; visions or stunning insights; high creativity; involuntary trembling, shaking, swaying or rocking; roaring noises in the head; uncontrollable laughter; ecstatic dancing; bursting forth with song or tones; one or all of these effects may be experienced.

There are also the more unpleasant characteristics of strange aches and pains like headaches; skin rashes and mental confusion or illness. But the unpleasant characteristics are often caused by resistance, a sudden or intense rush of Kundalini, or premature activation.

Natural activation of the Kundalini comes about through changing ones beliefs, purifying ones diet, changing ones lifestyle to a more spiritually focused state by aligning with the Divine Higher Power (whatever that power is to you). Certain types of meditation also awakens the movement of Kundalini. Developing and deepening ones creativity is a potent activator as well. Receiving training and guidance from a qualified Kundalini teacher is another way.
The Kundalini is expressed in art forms as two serpents intertwining with one another around a central, magical staff as they both spiral upward toward the top or crown where outstretched wings symbolize enlightenment, mastery and wisdom. In other words, the ultimate in enlightenment, divine wisdom and knowledge is achieved when the Kundalini is fully awakened and streaming unimpeded up the spine, illuminating the brain, out streaming out through the crown of the head to join with the Divine Source.

The bottom line seems to be this: that when we are truly open to our creative powers and expressing more of our Divine Higher Nature, Spirit streams forth to ignite the "power of the sun" that lays dormant within all of us. When we awaken to more of the Truth that is within us ... then the world around us changes also. And for the second time in the history of the world, man discovers fire ... only this time it is of the inner inspirational kind!
