Because it hurts like hell when you try to share genuine research on topics that are incredibly important - about the health and well-being of others in your culture that you truly care about -- and are constantly accused of having base motives.
That's how the dark side works, girl. 
It's unfortunate, but, that's the way it is.
They either directly attack you, or they work through vulnerable people, getting them to be reactive puppets who can't control their own reactions. And the end result? Well, they're hoping you'll sit down and shut the f*ck up so that they can continue to successfully trick all the gullible and naive people who believe a lot of screwball things and take part in many detrimental practices...to the benefit of the dark side. You're here warning people about the downside of tats and piercings. You obviously struck a nerve with something!
Which is all the more reason to press onwards and upwards.
I mentioned in your Buh Bye farewell thread that I myself have encountered too many people to count going off on me and popping their top on this forum. I've wanted to quit too, but in the end realized it was silly to let them have that kind of influence over me. If I were to sit down, shut up and quit, they win. You have to know and expect that if you're out there shedding some light on the darkside that they're going to come after you. You have to let it roll off of you, you have to see through it and see it for what it is. Then it becomes funny in its one dimensional predictability.
What did we have here today? A combination of moon period, and a highly reactive person lashing out at you due to ego..................because he happens to have tattoos. And he didn't like the fact that you're pointing out the negative aspect of tats.
Your post has nothing to do with czyx personally, yet, he took it personally. I've encountered this very same thing in other things. God forbid I dare mention that I don't watch TV......ten people will jump on the thread and give long winded, boring, unnecessary posts defending their own TV watching habits. Like I care! Who gives a f*ck! I don't like TV. I don't care about them and the fact that they happen to watch it. Ego ego and more ego. It never fails. You can't talk about the drawbacks of anything on a messageboard forum, be it drugs and hallucinogenics, tattoos, TV, alien abductions being a bad thing, etc. without people reacting out of defensive ego. It's tired and tedious. Just call them out for it and move on. "Hi, how ya doin, ego reacting, Hi, how ya doin' Hi, did you know that you just composed a whole paragraph defending yourself when nobody was even talking to you? Hi, how ya doin..."
I may start a thread about this topic actually. The fact that people can't even so much as mention the drawbacks of anything without some proponent of such getting their feathers ruffled out of personal defensive ego.........and rather than addressing the topic at hand in a neutral way, they get negative and make personal derogatory comments, and begin defending themselves. Tired! Tedious! Over it!
