Ultraviolet light, some new age music while you sleep and a recording video camera are also defences I have heard about that can be effective.  But face these negs full frontal with love in your heart and a samurai sword of intent that says, get away, leave now or I will hug you with so much love it will kill you.

Sounds like location has nothing to do with this attachment (if they foud you out of FL). They've latched onto YOU.  I'm curious if your friend is still being tormented, as well?  Unfortunately, this is not something that burning a bit of sage and sprinkling a salt circle around yourself will help with (although, the salt circle might be worth a shot). 

I've got a couple of questions for you:
1) Is your friend an "abductee"? (or do either of you suspect these negative humanoids are "alien" in nature?)
2) Is this more of a poltergeist kind of thing?  In which case, I've gotta ask if either of you accidentally "invited" these things through some kind of ritual or some seemingly harmless game, like a Ouija board? 
3) Did you tell these dark entities to leave your friend alone and mess with you instead?

I agree with StarCat and Lono that you must remain fearless in knowing that you are stronger.  You're the one who's incarnate, for kripes sake.  If I were you, I would confront them and say out loud, (but in a strong, clear, voice, devoid of fear, and you have to REALLY MEAN IT)
"LEAVE.  YOU HAVE NO RIGHT, AND YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE.  GO BACK TO THE PLACE WHENCE YOU CAME, AND NEVER COME TO ME AGAIN. LEAVE, IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST" ...(if you're a Christian, that is... otherwise, say the name of who/what you believe in most) 
Repeat, until you actually feel the truth of what you're saying vibrating through you and pushing back these negative entities.  (believe it or not, that actually works in a lot of cases)

Now, if these things are "aliens", the above speech might only give these dark effers a chuckle, and it won't stop them.... In which case, I'd still recommend a confrontation.  Tell them that they must state their intentions, and that you, under NO circumstances, will allow them to keep tormenting you in such a way.    Tell them that as an incarnate spirit of light on the earth plane, you are a protected human who knows your rights, and they are violating those rights.  Tell them that if they do not stop tormenting you, you will inform The Council, and they will be delt with.  (if nothing else, this may give them a moment's pause, because they know damn well that they're not supposed to be doing what they're doing to you)

I hope this unconventional approach helps you out a bit.  I wish you all the best and plenty of strength.  I know it's hard to do this with how you're feeling right now, but remember that these things HATE laughter, too.  So try and surround yourself with things that make you happy and laugh as much as possible, because THAT will be your best first defense. (besides, laughter's good medicine)

In order to create your very own sleeper guardian programs, you will need to engage in some create visualization. Make a list of 5 things that represent a force that evil doesn't have a chance against. It doesn't matter whether these things are really in your life or part of a fantasy. Such an astral attacker may try to psyche out their victim by making boastful claims that they can fight any guardian program, but the truth is they cannot. As long as you stay in touch with your guardian program, and don't fall for the ego-hype, your guardian program will grow stronger every day in every way.

There is another excellent book about how to take control of your psychic and physical space and banish demons, negative ET's, and so forth from your sphere of infuence. It's called Remarkable Healings by Dr. Shakuntala  Modi. She is a psychiatrist who discovered that spirit attachment is essentially the cause of ALL illness, including things like depression, anger problems, chronic fatigue, addictions, and other things often classified as 'mental" problems.

She lays out an excellent description of how the realms of the demonic operate and the different types of creatures involved.

Your observation that there appears to be a negative vortex open in your home is very important. With every type of negative infiltration, there are usually two things going on - a point of entrance via a doorway that has opened up inside the house and a hole or crack in the auric field of the person being affected. So both things need to be addressed to find balance again.

Keep surrounding yourself with as many high vibrational tools as you can. These can include sage, frankincense, lavendar, sea salt, sandalwood, copal, and myrrh, all of which you can scatter around the edges or border of each room (and in front of every mirror in your home, and in front of electromagnetic devices like TV's and computer monitors.) Common points of entrance are mirrors, which can be used as access points by the negs, so you may even want to remove these from your house for a while or cover over any ones in your room while you are sleeping. This will help. TV's and computer monitors can also be used as access points, but using the sacred herbs (either in plant form or thru using drops of their essential oil) you can close off these devices as doorway.  Sprinkle some of one of the herbs next to the computer monitor, for instance, or put a few drops of the essential oil on top of the monitor/TV.

Another thing you can do is sleep with a bowl of water under your bed. First put sea salt in the bowl of water and set the intention that the sea salt will act as a drawing agent, drawing out all negativity from your auric field and your room throughout the day and night. Flush the water down the toilet every few days and replace it. This will start to remove a lot of negative energy from your world as well.  The sea salt act as both a drawing agent and a container for the negativity. Also, sea salt under the bed helps repulse nighttime attackers and should help you to sleep a lot better.

The power of invocation is the main thing, however. Being able to summon up the Divine in whatever form you can most confidently access it is very important to protect yourself.  Even if you don't particularly believe in Jesus as a spiritual helper, he WILL help you. Many friends of mine who range from "lapsed" Christians to Jews to atheists have been helped by Jesus during bad rounds of psychic attack. He never turns down a request.

The other being you may wish to call upon is the archangel Michael, the spiritual warrior angel. He stands at the side of all those who have attracted psychic attack into their lives and teaches them how to defend themselves. In the beginning, he does the work for you, because you haven't yet developed the skill set to take on the negs yourself.  But he will teach you. 

People who are experiencing psychic attack or attention from demons or negative ET's should NOT blame themselves for what is going on.  It's not happening because you're "thinking negatively."  Quite often, just at the peak of some major spiritual breakthrough, when you are moving into a higher and more enlightened level of awareness in your life, the negs will come in and hit you hard to try to knock you off course. And the same thing often happens when two soulmates get together. The negs are so severely threatened by the potential power of two healers standing side by side in shared love that they will do anything they can to try to break people apart. Learn to stand WITH your friends, with your loved ones, with your partner and face the dark together. You CAN close up those negative vortices with a combination of will, power prayer, intention, and spiritual strength.  You wouldn't be going through this experience if you weren't meant to learn how to overcome it.

But don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. The archangel Michael and Jesus have saved my life so many times I've lost count.  The depth of their love, the strength of their commitment to humanity's spiritual well-being, and the immensity of their power humble me on a daily basis.  They love EVERYBODY, and they are trying to teach as many who would listen or care to tune into them a huge array of special, secret tips on how to beat the negs.  You'll learn, too, if you ask for help.  No sincere request is turned away. Believe me.

I have developed a system of defending myself (visualizations, sage, sea-salt baths) though, this serves as mostly a temporary solution, I'm just hanging on at the moment sanity is a myth:)
