I just finished reading "Home With God" which is Neale Donald Walsch's latest (and supposedly final) book in the series. It was one of those deals where I suddenly had the urging to go to the bookstore, and there it was on the shelf staring at me.

I used to be a much bigger fan of his writing years ago, at an earlier point in my journey. My biggest criticism of the teachings presented in his writings is that they don't appear to be fully practicable in physical reality. While I certainly believe that I create my own experience of physical reality, the reality I exist in is a collective reality, and I often find my "creation vibes" to be canceled out, or augmented, by others' "creation vibes".

Secondly, the material in the CWG series pretty much ignores the fact that, even though we create our own reality, we have somewhow managed to create a world where the majority of people have been manipulated to give up their power to create to a small group of elitists who use that power to create a world where choice is heavily restricted or veiled.

Thirdly, the material in the series also ignores the whole she-bang about ascension, and 2012, etc. I assume this is deliberate on the author's part, because any person who is even mildly into researching newage and metaphysical philosophies has come across the idea, which I believe is one of the most fascinating there is to find. So I don't know what the deal is with that, perhaps he just thinks it is too "far out" a subject for his readership. I know that I would certainly have some questions to ask God in that area.

Which brings me to the last criticism. Is Neale really talking with "God". Who knows? Does it really matter? Perhaps it's just an academic point. Under my own paradigm of reality, it sounds to me like he is talking with his own Oversoul. The information does feel like it's coming from 6th density to me. I guess for most intents and purposes, that is God.

Now with that having been said. . .

I think this is a really great book!

What I found fascinating is that is presents a rather detailed picture of what it is like to go through the process of death that makes perfect sense to me. And no, the book does not just affirm everything I previously believed about death.

What is more, the ideas about death and the "other side" presented actually coincide quite closely with those presented by Stuart Wilde. I think that's of value because Stuie and Neale tend to be on opposite poles of the newage/metaphysical spectrum.

Finally, and this is what I think is doubly fascinating, the process of death described in Home With God is precisely the same as the process of ascension, as best as I understand it through reading, and my own personal discussions with people such as David Wilcock and friends here at NR and in the rest of my life.

It's all still floating around in my mind right now, but the picture I'm getting is kind of like this:

What we are calling ascension is a personal experience of a collective death.

If we allow that there is a consciousness that is embodied by this planet in which we live, then it would stand to make sense that the planet will, at some point, choose to die.

Not necessarily because it is too "old" or "worn out" or because humans have somehow "destroyed" it but perhaps simply because the planetary consciousness has experienced whatever it wanted to experience as this incarnation of itself and is ready to move on to it's next incarnation.

The thing that has always been difficult for me to conceive concerning ascension, is the idea that everything is somehow going to "wrap up" before 2012 (or whenever the "end" may be).

Perhaps, just as in human deaths, things will simply end in midstream, and that will be that.

For people who are still incarnated on the planet, they will experience the same thing they would normally experience during the process of death.

1. A period of disorientation or just plain nothingness.

2. The realization that one is without a physical body, yet continues to exist.

3. A period of experiencing directly whatever the mind happens to be thinking about at any particular moment.

4. Another period of disorientation as the soul sheds the ego-mind.

5. The realization that one is without an ego-mind, yet continues to exist.

6. A period of merging, or reunification, with the core of beingness.

7. A emergence out of the core.

8. A review of one's life (lives) and the presentation of choices for the next adventure, which may include (but isn't limited to):

a. Reentry into the current cycle at any point from the beginning of the cycle up until the last moments before ascension.

b. Entry into a different physical incarnation of another planetary consciousness.

c. Entry into the next incarnation of the Earth consciousness.

9. A continuance of life, in whatever form is chosen.

So it's not so much a matter of personal ratio of STS/STO as much as it is a matter of being able to see all of the options.

For a soul that is intent on experiencing a world of control and domination, it will not see that other choices are available (unless it does), and so will draw itself into a world that matches its vibration.

For a soul that is intent on experiencing a world of freedom and a true sense of unity, it will similarly draw itself into a world that corresponds accordingly.

This is in agreement with the Law of One teaching that all that is necessary to "progress" into the next level of existence is one single experience of unity. That's all it takes to provide the springboard to a new existence. All that we need to do is remember; and since we will be choosing from a state of full remembrance, that will be a piece of cake!

I've gotta say this is in accordance with my own developing views on the subject, which can be summed up as follows:

1. There is nothing that I need to do here. I did not come to "save" the world, or anybody else. There is no particular path I need to take, no profession I need to work, and no person that I need to meet.

2. Aiming for longevity, through various physical disciplines, diet, or whatever, is pointless in the larger sense. While I may enjoy the fact that my body has a higher vibratory rate, it has nothing to do with my ability to achieve "enlightement" or to progress in my spiritual journey.

3. Worry or concern (beyond a simple interest or curiosity) for the agendas of TPTBs, the elite, hyperdimensional negs, aliens, as well as earth changes, severe weather, and global climate shift, not to mention economic and financial conditions, is completely unnecessary.

4. IN FACT, I may find (and am finding) that current collective creations and dramas have provided the perfect context to experience what I came here to experience.

[Example: I desire to experience myself as being wealthy. The collective has provided a context of "economic collapse" which, to some other soul (whose agenda I have no awareness), who may experience that as disastrous. To me, I have come to the understanding that what is occurring is simply a shift in values resulting in a massive transfer of wealth, or physical energy. Therefore, all I need to do is understand how that transfer is going to occur (more importantly than when), and position myself into the stream, taking care to ensure that I am facing the correct direction]

You may ask. . if what I am saying is true, then why the emphasis on money? For me, the answer is that I desire to become physically wealthy because I understand that money is a physical representation of energy, and that understanding its dynamics helps me to more deeply understand the dynamics of more subtle forms of energy. The end result is that I experience a greater degree of freedom, both spiritually and physically, and furthermore, that the experience of financial freedom will release me from the desire to have a physical existence. I cannot take my money with me into the next world, but I certainly can and will take my understanding of it.

Same with health, love, happiness, or whatever your spiritual agenda(s) may be.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show! Refreshments will be provided at the upcoming intermission. . .
