The homosexual 'thing' is related to life creation, which in its form is universal;
and not possible with two males/females. To indicate this does not mean that
one is homophobic.
I can recommend this site to everyone, who like me, didn't get far with
Gurdjieff's teachings, which are quite veiled, but contain the same knowledge,
that seeks to purify our being from the ego in a practical way.
Also, the audio lectures may make an impact on you, as they are spoken, not written.

Here's a good article on pseudo-Gnosticism: Part 1, Part 2. It contains links to legitimate sites, too--including those recommended by morningsun76 and me.

Here is a list of my favorite Gnostic sites:
The Nag Hammadi Library (ancient source material--required reading)
The Gospel of Judas (also ancient, soon to be released in its entirety)
MetaHistory
Enormous Fictions
Fantastic Planet
inTerjeCted
SecretBible (formerly Gnostic Friends Network, should be good when it gets going)
TaoGnostic
The Funeral of the Real
The Path of Gnosis

There is a small Gnostic church here in LA run by a fellow named Dr. Stephan Hoeller. He gives free weekly lectures at the church on various interesting subjects, which I've been attending as time permits for the past month or so. The website has a lot of good information on it, including links to an online store site which has several MP3s of the lectures available for free download.

This guy's a notorious homophobe. Do a search for "homosexual" on his site and see what comes up. That isn't to say some of the information on the site isn't useful, but the lack of tolerance makes me question where he's coming from. He also seems to be cultivating a "guru" image, which is unusual among modern gnostics. I don't mean to piss on your parade, but check out this guy. He's an "ordained Priest of the Apostolic Johannite Church, an esoteric Gnostic Christian communion with valid Apostolic succession" and he's much less dogmatic. I have a bunch of other gnostic blogs on my favorites list, but I'm not at my computer right now so I'll have to post them on Monday. Many of them can be found on Tim Boucher's links page, though.
