Depression happens when your body machine has to either make an upgrade(software or hardware) of any type.

Anything from a DNA change to Preventative Maintainence can cause depression.

Depression is just a lack of serotonin and other chemicals. It's your body trying to tell you to sit your ass down and let it work because....

It's doing one of three things:

1. Executing a major DNA change.

2. Executing a manifestation that requires alot of energy directed to your creation engine.

3. Repairing its self. (Trying to fix a shitty diet and keep you alive)

When your depressed, just tell yourself that your machine is doing it's job.....doing something big and/or vital. Detach yourself from the depression. If you can do that....it will at worst just be a little annoying.

Your emotional issues are seperate from depression. NOT listless and hopeless. If your diet is good and your not sick..... Expect big changes.

However....long term depression is ALWAYS caused by a shitty diet. Always. If it lasts for more than a month at a time AND there is no feeling of "being under construction"....your diet is not right for you. Change it.

Avoid Anti-Depressants. They will put this creative process on halt and return your body engines to a normal, non-creative, non-repairing state. Anti-Depressants ARE a good thing if you can't pace/control your personal Aladdin and/or your too lazy to fix your diet.

However, it doesn't really need to be said that they are not a good thing if growth and personal change is your objective.

Luckily, anti-depressants are somewhat reversible. It's not a pleasant process tho. And you'll crave it forever like a former cigarette fiend.

This is totally my opinion and is based in no provable fact. Any thoughts?

Also....anyone have any ideas for a good diet while in a state of depression?
