Searches of subway commuters in New York City have been going on for months. Police randomly set up tables at busy stations during rush hours, stop "persons of interest" and check backpacks and large bags. You'd better have officially approved ID if they stop you or you get "detained". Terrorists, of couse, will be too stupid to notice this and won't try to bring in dangerous stuff during off hours. Or get on busses. Or go into office buildings or shopping centers.:rolleyes:

did you notice that on september 11th 2006 it was the centennary of Gandhi's movement for Peace, Satyagraha? It means 'firmness in truth' (graha=firmness ; Sat=truth), as a kind of soul-force.
At the time Gandhi was active in South Africa (Rhodesia, as in Cecil Rhodes, the father of the Round Table) and his Satyagraha was mainly against the imposition of a registration card containing personal information as fingerprints, and so one, making everyone like criminals in the eyes of the government.
In 2005, George Bush imposed the REAL ID ACT, by which a National ID card was imposed as an upgrade to the ordinary passport, containing more biometric data and, sooner than later, a RFID chip before 2008.
In the big demonstrations at the WTC on september 11th 2006, people were expressing their opposition to the war in Irak, in Afghanistan, to the war on terror and, mainly, denouncing the lie that is the 9/11 commission report and its falsified conclusions, demanding an objective and independent inquiry.
The National ID Card imposed by the REAL ID ACT (in Canada it's the C-36 law) is the same as the registration card Gandhi was fighting against.
In those times, the majority was on his side. Today, the fight against the REAL ID Act is dismissed by the majority as 'conspiracy theorists'-Don-Quichotte's-style-delusional-paranoia. How pathetic. Many people argue that 9/11 comission is a fraud, but almost nobody cares about the REAL ID ACT of 2005 and its role in the slow motion fascist state Coup d' État.

I just went in and viewed the links here. Very important. And aaron, who cares if it's everywhere? They are trying to test this stuff in Boston; I guess they figure that if Boston "takes it" then anyone will. We've got to refer to our rights.

So I'm going to investigate the state ACLU and find out what, if anything, is being done to prevent this, and see what I can do. Once it slides, it's gone as an opportunity. This is a chance to do something thoughtfully, in a Ghandi-esque manner ( which no doubt I did not express above, but as I said, study!) before I have to turn myself into a sack of sand, which does not particularly appeal to me.
If it gets to that point, so be it, but I think that if more people here knew about this, they would say "oh no you don't" and get rid of it ASAP.

It's not necessary to force things, just be timely and give the whole false law a little shove at the right moment, and Boom! it falls of it's own weight. But an unseen enemy is, as Lyra said, a doubling of the problem. We cannot see, are not privy to,
the drone-Matrix of all of this.

As Montalk says, experience problems intellectually at first, go over the whole ground, then take a chunk of action that your primal component can handle. If your personal primal component can't handle it, you could damage yourself, then you'd really be out of commission. In the end, doing things in the proper order saves time, emotional and other energy, and works. Inevitably, it has to.

I was angry when I wrote my other posts here, and one of the reasons was that I knew I had to calm down and go over the whole ground first. My "knee-jerk" reaction to this essentially Fascist activity is indeed extreme anger. What I need is to work with people with experience in this sort of thing, and not people who like to protest just for the hell of it or to have a kind of violent "party." I'm a fairly refined person, and I'm not stupid enough to think that my primal component can handle alot of emotional and/or physical violence without a heavy toll on myself. Disabling myself will not allow me to help the cause (which is ultimately repealing unjust laws) I am working on.

Perhaps, in part, this is due to the fact that I am a woman. I'm very grateful to Lyra for posting this (or I wouldn't have known) and Montalk for the Ghandi link. And "they" say the internet is not a practical tool for Change?

Sounds like a good book. Sure, most cops are okay as it goes, and I certainly appreciate any work they do. But there are certain ones, like I said, and they reek.
They reek "robotoid NWO chess piece." Arggh. The other one acted all "keystone" on me. I mean, what gives? Cynicism towards cops seems to be there for some reasons other than the obvious ones. They stopped being "just cops" long ago, but 9-11, from what I can tell, sealed the deal. Some are left out of the loop to deal with things deemed unimportant and long ignored, yet these are the very things they are charged to do as police. Oh, well, real people are attacked , so what? has long been the attitude of many, and woe betide the sincere, caring cop! He's not better than the poor sod victim, in the view, apparently, of many. Stereotypes apply here, but it gets worse. Now with Asscroft's plans they can shout "hooray" as they have an out for not helping victims.Who cares about them when there are terrorists running around? Now we really have more important things to deal with....the dog ate our homework.

Personally, I think Boston is going to buy the control of Big Brother hook, line, and sinker. It doesn't look different or stand out in any way in "Boston Proper." It fits in quite well with parochialism and makes em feel safe. It's okay to discuss if your a local intellectual, but that means just that: discuss. Don't you dare try to do anything about it. It's terrible, and Ghandi was right. We can't just accept this. It's not cynical to see through the ruse and disobey unjust practices. This is Bully Big Brother behavior and I'll be damned if I'm going to go through this stuff just because some dude is insecure about the size of his you- know- what, and to me that's what it all boils down to and I could care less if one idiot's ego is crushed so that all of us can be as free as we are supposed to be in the U.S. of A, or what's left of it. Do this for future generations.

Sounds like you live in my town, Sedna. Like chemtrails, this nonsense is everywhere, it seems. All I can say is "standing firm" can mean not moving a muscle hi-res, if you like (until they start to drag you, then make like a sack of sand). When they push, don't act like you've been pushed. That trick used to work with school bullies. There's a decent book from Loompanics called "The policeman is Your Friend and Other Lies" by Ned Beaumont. Quite cynical. Only one chapter on cops, but lots of other good info there. Cops are pretty 2D, and the unexpected reaction really throws them.

Argg. Looks like I'm going to need to brush up on my Gandi. I take the "T" and I had not heard this. They did not announce it on the news, of course. Or if they did I missed it. I only watch the news to see what garbage la-di-da hokum they are trying to sell, so that I can non-violently resist it, and then only occasionally, enough to tell 'em where they can put it.

I had a run in with a real drone cop today, and boy did he make me mad. But I non-violently resisted. I may need to use this technique seriously in the near future.
They are drones here. They love this stuff. They love to watch people squirm in this town, they don't help you if you ask for it, they just tell you "wer'e sorry we can't help you" or blame the literal victim. I was talking to the lifeguard here the other day about how parochial it is here. You've got your drones, your students, your nearly-dead-from-starving artists, your cops, your yuppies, your old boys network.
And the "women who love them." Barf!

"In an effort to stop terrorism" random people in Boston will be stopped, and have themselves and their belongings searched and identification checked, all because of the 3/11 Madrid train bombings.

Okay, do I **EVEN** need to say this?? Alright, I will.

A. Like 9/11, the 3/11 bombings only serve to instill more constrictive, NWO-level laws and loss of personal rights.

B. These "random searches" aren't going to help anything in a city that's never experienced train bombing terrorism to begin with. So why do it then, you ask?....

because C. It's a test. They're testing whether the public will allow this. They're testing the waters, putting their foot in the door, pushing the envelope, seeing how far they can go. And unless people say "NO!" they're going to start spreading this type of thing into other cities, in other far more imposing ways.

Having just recently watched (most) of the movie "Gandhi", I think it's a timely movie for people to watch, in regards to learning how to stand up for yourself and putting your foot down against ever growing oppression.

The problem is, unlike India at the turn of the 20th century, America in the 21st century is riddled with brainwashed puppets who actually support and condone this type of behavior, and will defend it and subject themselves to it happily. I don't know if these people are just really asleep and naive (stupid is more like it), or, not even "real" at all, but they serve one purpose: To keep the rest of us in line by showing the "example" we are to adhere to. So the problem with America in the 21st century is not only are we up against the "Powers That Be"................we're also up against a vast majority of our own population who have been brainwashed by them, or are puppets of them. We've got double the trouble to contend with.
