There's a new movie coming out with Michael Douglas, called "The Sentinel."  On the movie poster, and in the the trailer, is this:

"In  the 141 year history of the United States Secret Service, there's never been a traitor...until now."

hmmmm.

I found a list of "Angelic Healing Number Sequence Meanings" and when I found the 141 on this it said:

"The angels are emphasizing strongly that you watch your thoughts right now. They counsel you to make a wish, as you are in a gateway that will manifest your thoughts right at this moment. (Note: 411 means "Ask the angels for some vital information that you need right now.")"

The time I meant to indicate in my previous post was 1 hour, 1 minute, and 41 seconds into the movie (not one hour 41 minutes).

I just downloaded a DVD image of Eyes Wide Shut.  It's a 4.35 GB image, so somebody apparently converted it down in size a bit from the original DVD to make it fit on one DVD-R disc.   I doubt that affected the actual chapter numbers of the DVD or time flow of the movie itself, though.

Dr. Harwood (Tom Cruise) rents his costume and mask from a shop called Rainbow.  Also for rent at Rainbow, we later find out, is the shopkeeper's underage daughter. 

The specific scene where Harwood first arrives at Rainbow occurs during chapter 14 of this DVD.   He arrives at that store and is paying his cab driver at 01:01:41 into the movie.  So if you put the DVD chapter number in front of the timestamp of that scene, you've got two 141's back-to-back. 

I'll have to rent a legitimate copy of the movie now, and see if the same holds true on the original DVD.  I imagine it will.

In addition to the marital fidelity theme in Eyes ..., the two "key" words Fidelity and Silence being discussed here both relate to the occult / military / secret society aspect of these films.

Oh, but it gets even better.      I had decided though not to post this, but since you resurrected this, hey, why not!     But after I had the 141 realization concerning "Fight Club" and "Mulholland Drive", I went and checked out all the movies we have in our collection which are of a woo-woo nature.   

Now, most movies are usually not even 1:41 in length, so, this disqualified many.  But some are.  So, what did I find?

In "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", (which I include a write up of on my website, in the Mind Control movies section) at the point in the movie when Clementine and Joel come face to face with each other, both having listened to their respective Lacuna tapes, and both realizing/remembering that they used to be together, with an entire life together that has since been erased, and it's that BIG MOMENT OF REALIZATION......it's at exactly 1:41 in the movie.  So, more of that whole "coming face to face with your alter egos/alternate selves" theme......at 1:41.

Donnie Darko.  At the end, as Donnie gets back into bed, laughing and giggling and musing how he hopes to see the end of the world, or something like that, and the camera pans on his Eye poster, and we see his sister coming back into the house after a date....and we're bracing for the jet engine to fall through the roof......it all happens at exactly 1:41 into the movie.  The jet lands on Donnie and kills him and closes the timeloop of his alternate self/alternate timeline at 1:41, going into 1:42 in the movie.  What are the ODDS on that???   It's the big clincher of the movie.

I actually didn't see anything signficant with Eyes Wide Shut at 1:41.  It's just Bill Harford walking around trying to find Nick Nightingale.  I expected something to be honest, but oh well.     Although the rest of the movie is riddled with meaningful symbolism and layered meanings, and I have an in-depth write up for it on my website, noting every single thing I could find in the movie, including the ample "Over the Rainbow" references mentioned by morningsun.

So with FOUR MOVIES now that have some majorly, undeniable significant plot activity occurring at 1:41 into the movie that centers around alternate egos/alternate lives/alternate timelines, then it's safe to say it means something.  It's not my imagining it.   

Do we believe then that the movie makers somehow planned this?  I don't necessarily think that.  I'm thinking this is more like "hyperdimensional fingerprints."

Okay....So the main point.................in Mulholland Drive, when Rita and Betty hook up and have their love scene, you theorize that it's the different alter egos "meeting" and getting to know each other.  I would have said "Yeah right, sure" to that if I hadn't discovered what I did about Fight Club........because see, at that point in the movie when Betty and Rita hook it up, it happens at exactly ***** 1:41 ***** into the movie.

Well, in my write up I theorized that Silencio was a trigger word of sorts, because it was after the Silencio scene that the movie took an abrupt turn.  It's like "Fidelia" in Eyes Wide Shut.  Fidelia ties into the surface sub-theme of the movie, regarding fidelity and sexual relations, but it's also an "Access Word" for Bill to get into the private party/orgy of the elite at the Long Island mansion.  So yeah, Silencio, Fidelia, trigger words I think.

Sorry, I know this isn't a Mariah thread, but now I'm thinking about mind controlled celebs.  haha  And that pic of Mariah is so flippin OBVIOUS...but, only if you're aware of this stuff.  And most of the general public isn't.  In the end, stuff like this seems pretty tragic to me, people being used and flaunted around like that and the public adores them, which encourages it, not knowing what's really going on behind the scenes.

It's true, she does stike me as a mind control victim.

Yet, that doesn't explain all the bizarre, loose ends littered throughout the movie - the Cowboy. the "BIG CONSPIRACY PLOT" concerning getting Camilla Rhodes put in the movie.....or else.   The small guy in the Plexiglass room.   The blue box.  Adam Kescher being forcibly removed from the picture, his bank account drained, and his wife turning on him out of nowhere.  I mean, there's just all these weird, loose ends that really make no sense.  Most everybody just chalked it up to it being "David Lynch", but, you know....maybe there's more to it.    Eyes Wide Shut was pretty clever, but this takes the cake!

I'm encouraged that you give my intrepretation some credence.

The Powers That Be attempting to manuvure that young new actrice (probably a new mind controlled slave ) into star position is there to demonstrate how the Illuminati put their hooks into the industry.

Same goes for the director, Adam Kescher who, initially, refused to put her in the film.
His money disappreared and was taken off the project.

I also think that Betty Elms/Diane Selwyn Laura Harring,  Rita/Camilla Rhodes may be all the same person. I think those love scenes between them could be the alter personalities getting to know each other as the multiples start to fuse together.

I don't thinks that all the odd details can be accounted for.

For instance, why does the rest of the world see 2 people ?

The important thing is, "How does the movie make you feel at the end ?".

The movie definantly isn't in a linear time fashion, but if so then the first timeline has to be false, so obviously the blue box, the cowboy, the guy behing the glass, and the guy behind the store are all part of the timeline manupulation or "reality controlling" and are doing something to Betty and Rita.

So what was the meaning of the first "part" of the movie?  What was up with the black book which contain the history of...?  Maybe it has the "answers" in it, thus Betty (after everything goes out the window) meets with that one guy (who in the other TL got the book) to kill Camilla?  Then he says that the key will be in place.  And then Betty kills herselves.  Hmmmm still not making sense as I attempt to put it together.  Ahhh well.  Gotta love the mystery.

Oh, and I looked up Jennifer Syme since you mentioned her, because I've heard about her before, that she was pregnant with Keanu Reeve's child, then miscarried, then died in a car accident three months after that.  It's tragic, but is there really a conspiracy involved?  I don't know.  Pretty much nobody even knows who she was.  On imdb.com, it lists her acting credits as three bit roles that nobody would have even seen, one of which was in Lynch's "Lost Highway", as "Junkie", which is probably why he dedicated Mulholland to her.   But wouldn't tragic conspiracies happen with people who are a little more well known?  I don't know, I have no idea how it all works.   But one prolific example to better illustrate would be Mariah Carey.  Married to the head of Sony, kept tucked away and isolated in his Long Island mansion, all obsessed with her mind control symbolism of rainbows and butterflies, always smiling and looking picture perfect like a Stepford Singer.   Then she rebels and breaks free and gets a divorce...and coincidentally has a mental meltdown.  Showed up at MTV's TRL pushing a popsicle cart down the aisle, tossing popsicles at people, seeming like she was in a goofy, spacey, drugged stupor......like her programming had gone haywire.  And all at the age of 30.   You know, "THAT AGE" when MK Ultra people are offed.   It seems she may have had a close call with being taken out, and was even hospitalized for "exhaustion" (right) going all mentally batty.   

Now she's re-emerged, with a CD entitled...."The Emancipation of Mimi."

She's admitted openly that Mimi is her alter-ego.
