OK, this is very strange. I've been following this thread but didn't have anything to contribute, until now.

Just today I was looking in the mirror when I noticed a small bright spot in my hair. I frowned as I leaned in closer to get a look at what I thought would be a bit of gray/white hair. I'm only 24 so I don't really expect any gray hair this early. However I was totally shocked when I saw that the hair was actually golden yellow. It was just, weird seeing this. My hair is very dark brown, naturally, and there is no blonde hair in my family at all. What to make of it? I don't know, maybe just some freak occurence that will go away in a couple weeks. Just thought I'd throw it out there, anyway.

It is all relative, and i can only speak from my point of view as can you. So what is hostile to one is not to another, beauty and the beast is on the eye of the beholder.

Blunt and to the point if done with finess is fine. But can easily turn to the fundementalistical point of view that one is the only person who can be right. What is percieved as the point might not be the whole point, and even a baseball bat is a blunt object yet can do harm.

I mentioned that my hair is blond/brown/orange in the very first post, which means that i am partially nordic, which also means that it could mean i am coming more to terms with who i am. If one would explain every single concept down to the basic level, even to the level of what different words mean it would take tremendous amounts of time, so i choose a level at which i communicate that best fits with the people i desire to communicate. One can never communicate in a way that everyone understands, there will always be discord. That is also what i try to point out, that to call my different opinion on how your behavior effects people lying is the style of communication i mean. Certainly your power of thought and problemsolving skills are good i'll admit that. But if you fail to understand what i meant and take it as lying, is it any different than if i fail to understand what you mean and take it as confrontative. That is what i desire to point out. That simply because it feels to you that you are not agressive or hostile, it might not feel that way to everyone you come in contact with.

You only prove that which you set out to prove, that you are not "unneccesarily agressive" the way you percieve it. Which is very much true. That is why i cant say you absoutely must do something or something else, i only say, that with all due respect i would suggest that you do something if you wish to avoid unneccesary confrontation.

If you have ever gone to a bar in finland you would know what i mean by aggressive. A girl hit another girl, then threw her drink on the waiter and then got tackled to the floor and the bouncer then grabbed her neck in a hold and carried her and threw her out the door after which the girl walked a few meters away and start threwing bottles at the bar. Not to mention several barfights in the same day that i didnt see, in a bar with around 50 people (small) even my friends said it was an unusually agressive night.

So i would once again heartly recommend that you try to avoid making rash decicions of my personality or psyche based on a few picks. As i dont even imagine that i know who you are or why you decide to post as you. But what i said isnt mean to be, (as there is no such thing), an absolute truth on how to act, it is only meant as my observation on if you would desire, you could change your behavior so that it wouldnt cause agitation to me. Nothing more as such.

Also as you said " I think I'll take pretty much anything you say from here on out with a grain of salt! Seriously. " It, to me, seems that you attack the messanger not the message.

So in closing i would suggest that if this confrontation is unsolvable as it appears, we should just for the sake of minimizing possible energy waste and conflict just agree that neither of us responds in anyway to anything posted by the other person? Unless ofcourse absolutely critical for the conversation? So we can just agree to disagree?

-Aki

I didnt say it is neccesarily a sing of being spiritually high, but it is a sign of something happening that changes my haircolor. From what i have read bright haircolors, bright blond being one of them but also if you are born with brown hair it is also bright brown-ness =)

Most of the spiritual healers i've talked with seem to correalte this, one example would be barbara ann brennan's book hands of light. It isnt related to this directly but as a person gets older the energy feed to their lower chakras is usually decreased significantly while higher chakras is increased, dosnt mean they understand anything more clearly as that isnt a function of chakra "power" alone, yet it helps. And old people generally have their hair going more white, and as i was born with a brown/yellow/orange hair it is quite unusual for me to start changing my haircolor. Tho it isnt impossible.

Also, lyra, if i may. I would advice you to be a little less agressive in your postings because for a few times now you have posted a response to something i said in a way that is unnecceserily "hostile."

For example, when i said "probably goes to prove something" i meant exactly what i said. Something, could just as easily be that i am exposed to UV radiation too much (high intensity LCD monitor for example). Or that i have eaten some bad food and fudged up my internal chemical balance which then makes my hair color turn.

As i live in a fairly shamanistical family and overall culture i am aware of the fact that haircolor does often change abrutly with internal changes. Intense stress for example can actually make your hair turn completely white over night. So why would one assume that haircolor cant be a significant factor.

It could also mean that if my genetic structure is of the nordic type, which seems very likely. That for my hair to turn golden could signify that i am getting closer to my own potential (DNA). And who is to say that blond hair isnt supreme in spirituality over other. I certainly dont believe that it is but can you prove it is or isnt?

I know i cant prove so i wrote here to ask if anyone does have information on it, plus ofcourse to feel happy to share any changes that happen because as i am a part of this group it effects this group. If people arnt interested they wont post, quite simple.

And that is what i meant when i said "probably goes to prove something". That it is a symptom of something, what, i dont know. That is why i would advice calm and self reflection when you respond because you made a hasty assumption that i said it in a smug way to mean it means i'm superior to everyone, which wasnt what i mean because i dont believe superiority to be possible.

As studies that i have read indicate that people get the emotion of the writer wrong 50% of the time in online communications it always warrants caution and patience when posting anything.

Oh, and imhotep. I did a complete bloodwork on myself around 2-3 weeks ago and my blood values are within the norms and they didnt find anything out of the ordinary so it could be some chemical that dosnt show on normal tests that is doing it but that would be prohibitavly difficult to find.

Thanks for all the feedback tho =)

The cells in the hair follicles that make melanin are called melanocytes.

There are two kinds of melanin. Eumelanin colors hair brown to black and pheomelanin colors hair yellow-blond to red. The amounts of eumelanin and pheomelanin produced by your melanocytes determine your hair color.

And from,

http://www.rmpd.org.uk/abstracts/photom … ations.htm

Pheomelanin is widely thought to be causally related to susceptibility to the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation: epidemiological studies show that those with a higher ratio of pheomelanin to eumelanin in hair have higher rates of melanoma, and work in mouse and cell culture shows that pheomelanin generates excess free radicals after UVR exposure. By contrast, based on measurements of eumelanin and pheomelanin in human skin, before and following irradiation, we now report that both pheomelanin and eumelanin are positively related to skin colour, and by inference, inversely with cancer susceptibility. The ratio of melanin classes is similar in people with widely different cancer rates and UVR sensitivity. Although our numbers are small, our results extend previous work in man, and lead us to speculate that factors other than the amount of pheomelanin may be important in determining UVR susceptibility in persons with red hair.

I am not trying to scare you but seeing a doctor may not be a bad idea. Also, look at your surroundings and see if there is the possibility of ultraviolet radiation exposure (it does not have to be sun generated if you know what I mean). I do not think hair color changes are related to enlightment.

Regards,

Lee
