I took this quote from a members profile and it came to me just then.
One thing I realized when I read this, is the problem with our society lies within its roots. The true roots that is is where we learn all of our learning from our early ages of childhood upbringing. Currently our judicial system works off a 'fear' based system where if you do 'this' then 'this' happends resulting in "punishment". This is an incorrect form of 'learning' from 'wrong' doings.
     In a perfect world where parents 'teach' their kids correctly why doing something 'bad' is not good, would not be accomplished by punishment but by understanding. However, both ways seem to understand the fact that something is 'wrong' but the way that one deals with it over the other is not what I find to be the 'right' way. Understanding is key for us to learn and evolve.
     Soon, as it appears to be, there is going  to be a tightly increased military-like control system in our society where there is no human to human interaction there is no personal level of things with respect to the law (hopefuly im wrong then again i dont usually have any trouble with the law). With the way things are heading we are becoming more and more de-humanized. I don't know nor can say where all of this is heading but i think we are over looking the true importance of our being here on this earth...or atleast in the general population of this world, we're getting too wrapped up in things that don't truely matter anymore ;(
