I loved it. I rented it a few months ago but never got to watch the special features. It's definitely one I'd like to buy whenever I can afford it, like ONce & Future said, to loan to people especially.

Another similar one I HIGHLY recommend is "Life & Debt" which looks at the effect of the IMF and World Bank's policies on Jamaica, which is sort of a microcosm for how these institutions treat the third world in general. Lots of reggae music, too, in the movie.

I saw it too, one of my favorite documentaries of the past couple years - by far superior to any of Moore's films. Agree it was brilliant how the filmmakers drew comparisons between the corporate model and a clinical definition of psychopathic behavior! It was a bit fear-based, but I found it encouraging overall… a) that there are filmmakers out there making films like this b) that some "big business" dudes see the catastrophic effects of globalization and are trying to shift the corporate M.O. (i.e. the carpet magnate.)

It's also useful to have an intelligent, balanced film/DVD out there to loan people who don't understand the danger of global corporatization. You can tell the film was made with integrity, not some sensationalized piece that's easily debunked by conservatives/big buisness folk. Difficult to argue with this film. Great holiday gift BTW.

Yes, I saw it last year and it's a very good documentary film. Well worth seeing and it's much better than anything Michael Moore's ever made. I loved the way they compared corporations to the clinical definitions of psychopaths.

It's a little fear based, but rightfully so - every effort is to keep your mind enslaved to consumerism.

http://www.thecorporation.com/index.php?page_id=2

Anyone else here seen it?
