As soon as religion becomes organized religion, and not a personal relationship between God, it becomes wrong.

I recommend reading an article called "Sinking Sand" which clearly shows what a beast the Roman Catholic Church really is
http://100777.com/spiritual/sinking_sand

Undoubtedly the foundation for both the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) and the Protestant religions to which she gave birth is built on certain immutable truths…or is it? Taking a hard look at some of the core teachings in Catholicism and all Christian based religions reveals a number of inconsistencies and misconceptions. The stark contrast between The Bible and official RCC doctrine would seem to indicate that most (if not all) of the basic precepts are in error.

What follows is a scripturally-based, objective examination of these core teachings for your review....
http://100777.com/spiritual/sinking_sand

I am able to add balance to this view of Catholic school's propaganda. I myself went to a Catholic school and although the phrase or motto which was drilled in to us right through seemed at the time to be logical and something required by the church to spread, it is only now that I wonder if the order which ran our school have a greater awareness and knowledge than they make public.

As it was all boys, the message which we were given and told to take with us throughout our lives was to be 'Men for Others'.

This implies serving others, and hence the whole STO orientation. I doubt it is coincidental though.....and as I said a balance to this topic - hardly propaganda.

NOT - we are seeing a reversal of superpower roles- absolutely
I find it very intriguing also that it seems we lose/ they gain on a dead even proportion.
Not just economically either- this applies to freedom and human rights issues as well.
I'm not so sure that the goal is so much to make China the new superpower, as it is to reduce the US to third world status- China's growth is merely the most efficient way to accomplish that.
Bear in mind much of China remains poor.
As for your observations about the control network- I think you're referring to RFID (radio frequency)
chips. These are the devices being pushed for use in everything from passports and driver's licenses to a box of cereal.
Just one more method of keeping tabs on us cattle.
I've read a few other posts on this thread- like some of the others I am fortunate not to have had the forcefed propaganda in the form of your Channel 1.
And we did have the occasional recruiters- but I do not believe they were allowed to approach the students during my HS years, '87-'91.
Being a few years older I feel like I should have some profound advice for you- not sure I do, other than repeating what some others have said- just being alert you are putting yourself far ahead of the herd.

* Update - I haven't had internet for a week or so. wow
Anyway-
Let me get straight to the point
Channel one on Thursday had an article about chinese and their growing economic boom!
They interviewed some people and talked about how China is better then the US.
The end of the show I couldn't believe what they said in plain english " Tommorow we'll have at look at how one school is preparing for the NEW WORLD ORDER stayed tuned"
I mean they didn't even cover it up or anything, I guess they think it's about time to start openly using those phrase.

So on Friday I was so hyped to see what the New World Order was, or how they wanted to projected into the classroom.
And as I'm sitting their I think mabye the school they were taking about had cameras or IR chips?
But when I comes on they talk about how the school is teaching chinese. What What?
I guess TPTB want China the head contry in the the future.

I just threw me off track.
I don't understand what is it they are trying to get into our heads?
One week they just switch to talking about China. WTF IS THAT?
Look like it's even steeper downhill from here.

Just a little rant, tea and coca made me hyper sorry.

Well well well....
*I'm in a different mode right now then I was when I was post on this subject before - so I just can't seem to collect my mind right now I'm going through a rough week*
After my first couple of post and responses I took a break from thinking about this, althought I stil read all the post I couldn't focus, so I couldn't respond sorry.:(
First when channel 1 comes on I usually start a meditation I've been practicing. I would just sit in class close my eyes and just think of everything being one. After mabye 10 minutes, I lose most of my understand of where I am. Just sitting at my desk I can't imagine that there is even a desk in front of me, and if I try everything I imagine shrinks into a small dark spot on a white backdrop. Simple - I think alot of people know what I'm talking about. Very interesting thing to do, anyway just a little something to start this post

Regarding the the ideas to start walkouts , posters, or blogs I can't really devote my time to that right now, I just seems like a steep cliff to ride down.
Channel 1 is doing all the things Dreamosis said about being very fast and onesided, It's hard to understand how they go through the major news in the day in about 6 minutes.
I understand there is about everything wrong with the school system, school is not for us to learn but to be striped of anything individual and join a "club" most people love it though.

^I few things that have been on mind^

I have been thinking about Darwn's law survival of the fittist. I think all TPTB are governed by this law because their fear tells them if they don't control us - we control them - so the translates straight in to the school environment.

The past of week I have come to a realization of more parts of my life and began to see more coincidenses. Mabye I am creating these they sure do stand out alot.
I have seen the 11 11 numbers alot and the other night I was walking with a good friend and look the the sky and see a cresent moon really bright and on the outerside of the cresent is a really bright star. Which is rare because of all the light pollution. I great symbol indeed.
^^
I do not sleep anymore during C1 instead meditate, can anyone recommend and techniques.

Dreamosis I have check out the site about PSI it's seems really interesting thanks.

I very scattered post but the case of this reply is that now that I realize Channel 1 dosen't affect me anymore

Thanks.

Hey NOT...

I also suffered Channel One during junior high and high school ('90-'96). The anchors then were Anderson Cooper and good ole Lisa Ling.

What I remember most about it the VOLUME they played it at, and the "World-In-A-Minute" segment--in sixty seconds they recapped all the world news, barraging you with third-world images and lightning fast narration.

At the time I escaped it by drawing. I drew mazes and role-playing "board games" that I played with my friends during lunch time.

Your post reminded me of an assembly the school held once, too. It was eighth grade. Everyone was pulled out of class for a half a day for a "Pepsi Assembly." We watched an audio-visual presentation about the Pepsi company and their new product, "Pepsi Clear" (which bombed, by the way).

Music video pop songs (that everybody loved then) were incorporated into the presentation, with the Pepsi logo popping up again and again. Usually, our principal went to great lengths to keep us under control and quiet, but we were told that day that we could cheer and yell all we wanted.

Afterwards, the entire school was led into the cafeteria and we were given a free can of Pepsi Clear by Pepsi marketing reps and invited to offer feedback. I think we were even allowed to drink it in class that day... The next day there was a Pepsi Clear soda machine in the cafeteria and kids were talking about how cool Pepsi Clear was for a week...because it tasted like Pepsi...but it was clear.

To this day I associate the Ugly Kid Joe song "I Hate Everything About You" with Pepsi Clear and that memory. They played it in the assembly.

(Does anybody remember the kid who was suspended from school for wearing a Pepsi T-shirt on the day his school was shooting a TV commercial for Coca Cola?)

...Anyway...I had an idea, NOT. Maybe the Channel One time would be an opportune time to practice clearing your mind techniques. I'd just look at a spot right below the TV or something and watch my breathing, or single-pointedly focus on a feeling of joy inside me--let it build and build.

Your knowledge is already protecting you. The fact that you know that it's bullcrap is a big deal and half the battle.

As I thought about it, I also rememberd www.psipog.net. On that site they have info on creating "constructs," which could be used as mental-energetic barriers between you and your teachers, less-evolved classmates and the loud TV. A construct is a thought-form that you program to do anything you want.

I sometimes place protection constructs between me and a particularly scary movie, and let the construct absorb the fear energy.

Don DeGracia said that the best way to overcome your fear is to study it. I was afraid of propaganda so a couple of years back I read "Mein Kampf" by Adolf Hilter. His book has a chapter on propaganda and how he used it. (BTW, he notes that most of his propaganda know-how came from watching the Americans in WW1). He defines three main components of propaganda: slogans, emotionalism, and simplicity.

If I'm ever unsure if I'm being propagandized to, I look for those elements. The media blitz after 9-11 obviously contained all of them: The Slogan="United We Stand," or "God Bless America" (take your pick); The Emotionalism=Video footage of beaten, but not beat hero fire-fighters; The Simplicity=War is the answer.

I have a quick idea if you are interested, NOT. How about starting a blog that critically analyzes Channel 1? Something like "NOT Channel 1". I think something like that could develop a serious following and it would give you something to do during broadcasts, like taking notes, especially during commercials. And if anyone complained, you could innocently claim that you are applying yourself.

That you drove them crazy, sounds only fair, given what they did and do. Tit for tat. Back in the pleistocene era, when I went to grade school there was something called "corporal punishment", the nuns and other teachers could and would slap/strap us whenever we "rebelled" against their aw-thor-it-tay! Sometimes the "crimes" would be as simple as chewing gum, or speaking out of turn (forgetting to raise your hand and await permission before speaking)... And some of those women (Catholic school, segregated by gender) were brutal savages. Most fortunately weren't, and typically the one's who weren't were the best, smartest, and brightest teachers too. So it seems that they've now "advanced" with their control techniques, instead of employing corporal punishment, they use other mind fokkery.

Peculiar thing though, emotional/intellectual controls & punishments often leave scars that can do more lasting/lingering damage.

Keep driving "them" crazy

I was shocked when I first heard about Channel One thru Adbusters magazine (can't believe it's never been brought up here, will have to start a thread on that - adbusters.org). They track all sorts of awful things like that in culture and try to offer solutions - they call them Culture Jams. They sponsor annual TV Turnoff Week in April and Buy Nothing Day on the day after Thanksgiving. Lately they had a link to some place you can get a mini remote control that turns all TVs off, and of course they suggest kids that have the Channel One BS to use them. Before those I had a friend in HS that had a watch with built in universal remote, that could do everything if you looked up the codes. So you could try that, if you think the teacher wouldn't immediately know it was you.

You're here at NR and you have a punk bad for your avatar, so you're definitely cool (for a Catholic school kid, lol).

At least you can try making a point of looking elsewhere. Staring at the window, clock, opposite direction or perhaps a long, sustained creepy glare at the teacher are ideas. I know you said everyone else buys into it but if you can find one or two others who'd be willing to stage walkouts during C1, you could try that. Write a letter to the editor of the local major paper, or the school paper. Print up newsletters about corporate influence in schools, etc, and put them in everyone's locker when no one's looking. Make a personal point to never buy anything they advertise - if its a product you already love, tough find something new. Go to a PTA meeting or something and tell PARENTS about it - I bet a lot of them would be upset if they knew about it. I'll have to go back thru some Adbusters mags, I know they've had other ideas.

As far as the GED goes, might not be a bad idea. Don't know about LA, but up here in Montana most jobs for high school grads like me are about minimum wage anyway, so even with a GED they couldn't legally pay us any less. Not that that's good news or anything, minimum is 5.15/hour. Plus you could always just lie on job applications - I'm pretty sure they NEVER call the school and check, and I've never heard of someone having to produce the actual physical diploma in an interview. Mine's permanently boxed up in the closet.

Read Abusters, and listen to punk!
