Window dressing (in the form of wannabe naifs with presold credibility) is vital to these groups' activity. It provides a respectable veneer and falls neatly into the masonic "screen behind screens" m.o. Has anyone else read that the "skull &bones" or "jolly roger" was the flag displayed by Rothschild's pirates? (hmm, jolly rothschild? blood sacrifices to further dark business?) Trivia Q: Who coined the term "cult of celebrity"?

I'm sure that many people on this site know that G.W. Bush and John Kerry are both members of Skull and Bones. Skull and Bones is a secret society that each year recruits 15 people in the junior undergraduate class at Yale University. The society portrays itself as a fraternity.

I'm sure that you have heard that the society is or may be involved in all sorts of nefarious activities. I am not asserting or denying anything about their actions.

I am bringing up the concept of prejudice or pre-judging. Pre-judging can be a useful exercise because in some circumstances there is not time to gather all the facts and we need to operate on our impressions.

I am cautioning against assuming that every person that belongs to a given group acts in a certain way.

I am trying to make a more general point that I don't think that we can assume that everyone in the Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderbergers, Tri-lateral Commission, and even Skull and Bones is automatically "bad". Often the greatest degree of power is held by a small inner circle and the people on the periphery may not know what goes on there.
