Below is a message sent to me originating from Carlos Barrios. This came two days before last night’s interview.

(as translated to me from Carlos)

A lot has been said about this time, about the prophecies given by ancient wise visionary men. Some of the prophecies have been kept on secret books, some have been transmitted in a verbal way, others have risen in a series of books, documentaries, articles in magazines, newspapers and especially on the Internet. Some are extremely alarming, others have no basis and many are based on the Prophecies of the Great Traditions.  All of them point out the prophetical times, as the Wise Chi Mam Maya, Don Pascual liked to call them.

All this information has wakened the interest of millions of people, but it has also created a lot of confusion and fear, since the date of December 21 of 2012 has been used as the date of the end of the World.  However, this date points out the beginning of a new cycle, which is marked in the tradition of the Mayan Elders as a time of harmony and spiritual growing, this cycle is called the FIFTH SUN and each of the previous ones lasted 5,200 years.

The first cycle was of a feminine energy and fire was the element that ruled it.

The second cycle was of a masculine energy and earth was the element that ruled it.

The third cycle was of a feminine energy and air was the element that ruled it.

The fourth cycle was of a masculine energy and water was the element that ruled it.

The fifth cycle is of harmony between the masculine and feminine energy and the element that will rule it will be ether. 

Each of these cycles last 5,200 years and they have been affected by the polarity of the masculine or feminine energy and of course they have also been affected by the elements.  Today we are at the door of the end of the fourth cycle, which ends on December 20th of 2012, six years from now.  During these six years we will be witnesses to the confrontation of the Negative and Positive forces, the eternal fight amongst polarity, the fight between the Eternal Fire and the Eternal Ice, as the Great Masters have named it, rough and magical times, prophetic times, as the  Master, Don Pascual, would have said.

We do not have to close our eyes to be able to see who is dominating at this time, unlike of the Beings of Light, on the other side there is no doubt of who the boss is and no one argues about the grades of power, they work with an effectiveness, so effective that some of them even manage to appear as Warriors of Light.

The opposite happens with the Warriors of Light, because unfortunately most of them are spellbound with their Ego, convinced that they are the best and the carriers of the Truth, but they are only interested on their fight for power, fame and their excessive fondness for economical wealth.     

Someone has to raise the Torch of Light and create consciousness; these leaders have to come back to their path.  They have to find their path once again and assume the responsibility that was given to them at the time they received their grade of guide and the magical power that accompanies them, this is the calling of the Ancient Mayan Elders, of which the doors to build up our destiny are open…  The Wise Elders are tired of waiting, they have sent this message previously and today, knowing the delicacy of this year, the violence, insanity, the tiredness of our Mother Earth, that regardless of the advise she has sent us (hurricanes, floods, droughts, The Tsunami, etc.) we are still impassive, destroying 10,000 acres of forest each day, letting 100,000 people, most of them children, die of starvation, and to us, this is just another news which does not affect us directly.  A year ago the Tsunami stunned us, fear and panic grew, today this is just a vague memory.  However, we have to be blind not to see we have to give a stop to this destruction, today we are alarmed with the cruel winter, with the torrential rains that are coming out of season, we also witnessed a tropical storm that was almost to become a hurricane, this without even speaking of the earthquakes in all the continents.

This was already predicted by the Prophets and visionary Mayans, as well as the attack to Iraq (with a precise date, two years before it happened), and the Terrorist Attacks (the one of the Twin Towers, the ones of France and Spain, and the ones to come).

The Mayan Elders are expecting that in the laps of the next two years there will be a great explosion of magma in the Yellowstone Park, this explosion would have the effect equivalent to the destruction that several atomic bombs would cause, giving as a result a great matter of contamination and pollution.

We are also expecting the imminent attack to Syria and the possibility of an attack to Iran, as well as the trying of overthrowing and putting a stop to the Socialist Democratic Movements that are rising in Latin America, specially the one of President Chavez in Venezuela.  The last predictions, we can still put a stop to, but we have to use our powerful weapons, the inner magic in each of us, our fire ceremonies, meditations and any other techniques.  It is URGENT to stop the madness of war.   

The transcendence of the ending of this fourth cycle lies in the fact that we are once again in the doors of building up our destiny, the history of the actual humanity (the fourth).

The other humanities did not succeed with the purpose of taking our Mother Earth to the age of gold, the age of nobility, love, equality, peace, conscience, the Kingdom of Great Spirituality, in which every being has its space and value and where we can all grow in a simple word HARMONY, which is the premise of the Mayan World.

This marvelous opportunity is linked to Mother Earth, who as a living entity, has once again the chance of acceding to the Fifth Sky, this means to vibrate on a more subtle energy ruled by the element ETHER.  This opportunity was wasted by the three previous humanities and it took Mother Earth millions of years to redo the proper conditions again.

The actual humanity, like the previous, has reached an extraordinary technological development, but it has forgotten the spiritual balance and the responsible relationship with Nature, which we are destroying and polluting more and more each time. 

This was predicted by the visionary and wise Mayan Aj’Kijab (shamans), every event that is occurring, the plagues, earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, thaws, weather changes, wars, uncontrollable viruses, the contamination and damage we are causing Nature, our own Mother, however, we remain passive as spectators, not doing or saying anything, we are accomplices who rather follow the routine that is imposed to us, the fake illusions that make us believe that we are people of success, of that success that is only the vision of a consumer materialist society and we sell our life in order to have this distractions and not confront reality, since we do not have the courage to go into our inner selves and get to know and accept us, the most important thing is to keep an image and the sterile competence of an uncontrollable urge to run, that rush to get nowhere…   

We have the responsibility and possibility to change the destiny, we have our weapons, and what is most important WE ARE MORE…  And we are not talking violence; our weapons are meditation, sacred ceremonies, the thought of millions of people, the amazing power of mind, creating the harmony of love, respect and spreading conscience. We can create conscience in others, we can speak, write and demonstrate that it is necessary to stop the destruction, the contamination, that we have to stop being accomplices and that our voice should be heard, that we should write to the media, to the people that run the governments, for we should remember that they are public servants and not owners of the countries, and if they receive millions of letters and       e-mails, they will have to give us their attention, but lets just remember that violence is not the answer, do not look for the answer on the intellect and the strength, the answer is in the power of your heart…

We think we own the earth…  Will you own it 200 years form now?  Elders say the earth owns us, as a mother that nurtures us.  Lets be consequent to her, lets not let the shadows fall again on her…

Now that we have some firm direction from our ancestors, more specifically from our Mayan elders, I feel a strong need to verify in the world of modern science.

Please do not see this as a discount in any way to the Mayan culture. I honor their wisdom as I do from many ancient text documents and predictions. Most of you know my mission statement is to “bridge the gap between ancient text and culture (old), and with modern science (new). I think it wise to utilize all fields of discipline to seek and sort the truth. I believe our Mayan and Hopi elders are true in their seeking and understanding of what is to come. I also believe this of our Biblical scholars, and Dead Sea Scroll scholars, and Buddhist monks, and American Indian shamans, and the Islamic Quran, and the Jewish Torah and the list goes on and on.

The world of modern science is also an extremely valuable tool. In fact, I’m not sure if we could go very far in the world of ancient text without it. So my intention is to bring the world’s top scientists in varies disciplines related to earth science and space weather to confirm or collaborate what has been said.

Are there signs of something changing in our oceans? Will we see costal areas become submerged “in our lifetime” ? Are there signs that Yellowstone super-volcano will become active this year? I have a feeling the answer will be yes to all of the above. In fact, much has already begun.

Our Hopi and Mayan elders “always”  speak of cycles. In fact, this is why they are so accurate in their predictions. This is also why what we see transpiring today was always to be. Why? Because it always “was” . Global warming is a myth, a fabrication made up by special interest groups who need funding. In order to get funding you need to have a cause. So they made one up, beginning in 1988 when James Hansen made up the name “global warming” .

So is there really a warming of the planet and then a cooling? Well of course. There always has been and will be to come. Are the oceans warming? Yes, they always have. Are the oceans cooling? Yes, they always have. Will our climate change? Yes, it always has. Will continent costal areas become submerged? Yes, they always have. Will Islands or land become visible? Yes, they always have.

The Mayan calendar is in part a mathematical summary. It is reliable, predicable, and accurate. Why? Because it is based on known cycles brought forth over the centuries. It is an excellent tracking tool. This is why NASA, NOAA and other government agencies acknowledge and often utilize this information. In fact, I have several of the world’s top scientists saying such “live”  on-air and hence recorded. This was almost impossible to do just 10 years ago. But lately, it seems they too feel something in the air and give credibility to our ancestors.

So with all due respect for our elders and I truly mean this, watch for a coming line-up of the worlds top experts to be on the show. My goal is to match as much as possible with prophecy and predictions, and perhaps dispel some which may simply be too far out (at least now) to verify or condone.

Yes, Carlos Barrios Did Say “Rising of Ancient City”

For all ECTV members, it is at approximately 55 minutes on the recording Carlos does in fact say “The elders have first said this 4 years ago. “There will be coming up part of a ancient Atlantic continent and will appear in the within the next two years.”  He also stated “Part of the Atlantic coast will disappear from Boston to Miami” .

In addition to what we knew regarding coming events i.e. Yellowstone super-volcano, United States attack on Iran and Syria, escalation between Pakistan and India leading to a possible single strike nuclear exchange, we heard something more on “watch for water” .

Before I write something “I thought I heard” , I will listen to last night’s interview over the weekend and then report. But what “I think I heard”  was Carlos tell us “watch for a rising continent in the Atlantic. But before you go crazy with this one, let me go over the interview more carefully. For those of you who are already ECTV members, please do the same (I believe it is in the last 20 minutes) and send me your comments of what you heard.

Update on Carlos Barrios Mayan Elder

Spoke to Carlos on the phone last night. He called to let me know his elder Manuel Mendosa, of the ‘Clan-de-Aguila’ (The Eagle Clan) Mayan Ajq?ij will be with him for our Thursday night interview. He also mentioned there are some things he cannot disclose in this interview as a result of his tribal counsel of elders “not giving”  him permission to disclose. I will not press Carlos on what is to be kept secret, but I will ask him to explain to us “why”  this is sometimes done. There must be a sensible reason I cannot yet see. But I promise I will ask him this very thing.

The moderate quake hit just 40 miles from West Yellowstone. This event is not unusually large or necessarily unexpected. However, if there were to be a continuing pattern of rumbling, I can promise you every newspaper in the world will be covering this event after my coordinated press release with USGS backing.

Severe Wind Storms Pound the US Northeast

Over 160,000 homes are without power tonight as wind gust hit hurricane force. In parts of Washington State, wind gust of 78 mph have caused significant damage to large vessels, homes and roads.
The storm forced closure of the floating bridge that takes State Route 520 across Lake Washington east of Seattle for the first time in nearly seven years. High water, heavy winds and a mudslide prompted a 48-hour shutdown of passenger rail service north of Seattle.
Washington State Ferries shut down the Port Townsend-Keystone ferry run connecting the northeast tip of the Olympic Peninsula and Whidbey Island because of choppy waters on Puget Sound.

Mayan Prophecy “Watch for Water”

I have received several emails suggesting what this could mean. One item I would not have thought of did come forward. Perhaps what we might see is something happening to a large Cruise Ship.

Rescue teams are continuing the search for more than 800 people missing two days after an Egyptian ferry sank in the Red Sea carrying 1,400 passengers. This is 2/3 the life lost on the Titanic.

Heavy Rains in Florida (Atlantic Ocean) Cause Flights to Divert

About 25 flights into the Tampa International Airport were diverted because of the heavy rain and lightning, said spokeswoman Brenda Geoghagan. The rain prompted flash flood watches and warnings in parts of Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. St. Petersburg had recorded 12 inches of rain by afternoon, and parts of Pinellas County were getting 3 inches per hour, the National Weather Service said.

George Bush Begins Game Plan to Attack Iran

Using almost the very same language used by the Bush regime to attack Iraq has begun to hit the news wires.  "The path chosen by Iran's new leaders - threats, concealment, and breaking international agreements and IAEA seals - will not succeed," says George Bush. "Iran's true interests lie in working with the international community to enjoy the benefits of peaceful nuclear energy,"

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said the US hoped Iran would heed the "clear message" from the IAEA. "The world will not stand by if Iran continues on the path to a nuclear weapons capability," Ms Rice said in a statement.

The War Drums Don’t Stop With Iran

SYRIA has now been placed in the cross-hairs. Just a coincidence… attempts are now underway to draw-in international support to bomb Syria off the map. We saw this almost exact tactic used in Panama, Chile, and Honduras and most recently with Haiti. I guess old tricks never die.

Denmark and Norway have condemned Syria for failing to stop attacks on their embassies in a row over the publication of contentious cartoons. Syrians set fire to the Norwegian and Danish embassies in Damascus in protest at the publication of newspaper cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

I mention the articles above to track the words of Carlos Barrios, high priest Mayan elder. The following are the highlights he told me over the phone some weeks ago.

Watch Yellowstone super-volcano to act-out in April. The US will attack Iran and Syria some time between March and June. Watch for heightened tension between Pakistan and India and possible limited nuclear exchange perhaps around the time of the attack on Iran and Syria. “Watch for water” . This could be rains, floods, disasters related to water are numerous and I would guess could involve such things as disasters involving Cruise Ships.

Reminder: “Never give your power away” . As I have stated, I have a highly honored respect with Carlos and our Mayan brothers and sisters. Really for all spiritual teachers who have succeeded their earned initiation and right of passage. But even so, we must never set aside our personal journey to follow another’s word or belief. It is far more powerful to follow ones’ own truth. Of course seek the wisdom from others of what seems true for you. But not because it is their truth, or ‘a truth’…but “your truth” . There is no shame or dishonor in disagreeing with those whom we respect. After all, is it not exactly what a great spirit would encourage in the first place?

It is most important for my own personal journey to very carefully walk the road between the two paths. To be careless in going too far one way or the other will defeat my purpose. Not because it is “the path or truth” , only because it is “my path and truth” . (mitch)

In a follow-up conversation earlier today with Carlos Barrios, Mayan high priest elder, I was told their greatest concern, meaning the gathering of Mayan elders counsel, is to “Watch for water” . I asked if this is something urgent that needs to be expressed tonight. Carlos said it is not something that will unfold in the next 24 hours, but to watch for events in the coming weeks. Carlos did mention “watch the Atlantic” . I thought this odd since the most likely event of a tsunami would be in the Pacific. Perhaps it is not an earthquake initiated tsunami, but may have more to do with the record rain fall. I must say, this is rather confusing and I will be asking more questions to make sure it is not the Pacific which needs more attention.

I will have Carlos on the show along with his elder Manuel Mendosa, of the ‘Clan-de-Aguila’ (The Eagle Clan) Mayan Ajq?ij, Antigua, Guatemala. For those that tuned-in to the show on October 2005 when Manuel Mendosa spoke to us in his native tounge, already know the power of this man. With both Carlos and his elder Manuel speaking to us from their heart, and hearing first hand from our Mayan elders themselves on what they, and the gathering of counsel have to say, is truly a blessing. But I warn you, it can sometimes be disturbing.

I have booked Carlos and Manuel for Thursday February 9th.  We will hear from thim directly as to coming events.

REMINDER: Although I have the utmost respect for our ancestors, I gently remind us “it is true, only if it is true” . Until events occur as prophesied, it is best to maintain a healthy discernment of information provided. I can promise you Carlos, Manuel, Adam Rubel of Saq Be’ are not here to scare you, or sensationalize events which may occur. But it is wise to hear and learn from our ancestors which have a rich and long history of linage going back centuries. The Mayan calendar has proven to be an accurate instrument of history, cycles, and coming events.

Prophecy is not intended to announce or affirm fate, it is meant to “bring awareness”  so that we may “avoid”  what has been foreseen

I think it is interesting to note that Stuart Wilde said in Beyond Enlightment something to the effect of, 'When the world ends, the only sound will be that of water, so when you listen to the sound of rushing water, you're actually listening to the symphony of the end of the world.'

"And when they went, I heard the noise of their winds, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of a host: when they stood, they let down their wings." Ezekiel 1:24

Just information I felt was important to pass on, nothing more or less. We have the power to change the future possibilities with our individual and collective thoughts and actions.

" Carlos reminds us we are not doomed to prophecy. It is meant to help steer us away from its realization. We do have a choice….will we use it?"

Interesting, ENT Doc, I just noticed that there's been solar flare activity in the last 12 hours and was thinking it odd. Then I came here and saw your post. Hmm... plus what made me check the solar flare activity to begin with? Just a sense that it might be active.

Just a quick question. How do we interpret those graphs and what real life implications these readings DO HAVE?

After reflecting upon this, I realized that the centrifugal force induced by a pole flip would throw things away from the surface just as racing over a small hill can throw you upwards a little. You would feel your weight reduced, as though you were accelerating downwards or falling. So a physical pole shift would, if rapid enough, be accompanied by a falling sensation for those on the circle of greatest rotation. I calculated that for the gravitational tug to reduce by a fourth, as it did in my dream, the earth would have to shift at the rate of 90 degrees in under an hour.

Not saying the dream is prophetic, just that it helped me realize a pole shift might feel like falling. Therefore if suddenly that sensation came over me and the sky outside roars like a hurricane, I might have a good idea of what was happening.
