When the 90's came about I also noticed a change in society.  One I didn't like.  I started to withdraw and now I am pretty much a hermit.

The change I saw in society was not topical, but transcendant.  The very vibration of reality gradually changed and I saw what was good mutating into what I call evil.

We no longer live on the same planet.  We no longer live in the same dimension.  For those of you who acclamated to this new situation...things are probably pretty good.  For those of us who did not, and will not, this is not a very nice place to live.

During the year 1998 I specifically remember feeling a change in the way I percieved reality and the way it felt living in it. In the city where I lived it seemed everything looked and felt different as if reality were more clear, vivid, or more 'finely defined'. Almost as if it could have been a 'mock' portrayal or 'overlay' version of the same world.

I noticed a change.  Although I noticed it later in the 90's, definitely later than 92.

Someone above mentioned they thought it was easier to look at now... which is interesting, because I feel quite the opposite.  I find it almost unbearable now.  And the glare it creates on windshields nowadays, awwgh... almost like looking straight at the sun, maybe worse sometimes.

I've said for a long time it seems brighter, whiter, and more painful to look at.  Nobody I know sees any difference.  But then, nobody I know ever notices *anything*.  They're too wrapped up in life to be bothered.

I'm pretty much in total agreement with StudyScope above regarding this and the other things they mentioned (society etc).

Anyone else?  Brighter or darker?  Whiter or no?  I'm curious on everyone's observations now.

Risen, think that might be my comment you're referring to about the white sun being easier to look at, and actually it isn't easier, it's more difficult, I just got it backwards when I typed that passage, and forgot to go back and correct it. Sorry for the confusion.

Also I've experienced & observed changes, big changes, internal and external which happened in the early 90s. My lifestyle abruptly changed in that timeframe for better and worse; I if I could net it out it would be this, that for the first time in decades, since childhood, I clearly and deeply felt as if I did not fit into or belong to this society (the materialistic focussed rat race aspects of it) and no longer wanted to; at the same time I had a new-found or re-discovered sense of myself, a much keener sense of who I was, am and am supposed to be. Best way to describe it is that it was an awakening, or a spiritual arrival of sorts. It was and end point and a beginning, and it's definitely still a process, an adventure on a timeless path; one from which there seems to be no "turning back" at this point. Though there's no reason why I'd want to, as it feels good, healthy and right, definitely better no matter how challenging or difficult things can become.

are you a complete amature photographer?

only amatures shoot with the camera on "auto."

I think YOU are a bit mixed up.

most pros (like me)  shoot completely manual, or sometimes, depending on the circumstances will shoot with Apature-priority, or shutter speed-priority.....but never auto.

go back to photo school.

I am going to assume some smarts for you and assume that you are only baiting me to post here again, otherwise you do not know much about photography.

this forum is populated by many uninformed souls (fools) and disinformatoin agents, which is why I have a hard time with the youthfull folly here.

(P.S. a faster shutter speed means you are letting less light in, also)

Sorry but I just could NOT let this one slip by....you're talking about F-stop. Shutter speed is related but a different thing entirely.

A higher F-stop means you're letting less light into the camera. A higher number (F 32 fr'instance) is a smaller aperature. A lower number (F 2.8) is a larger aperature.

A higher F-stop may change the shutter speed but will slow it down given the same light if both are automatic. If the light is in fact brighter you can keep the same shutter speed at a higher F-stop for a proper exposure.

So in essence you were right...just mixing your settings a bit...;)

If the sun was some sort of portal that might make sense.

and this is certainly the case in southern Australia. The actual colour seems to vary a great deal, which I tend to attribute
to petro-chemistry/atmospherics etc. even in winter. What does seem to have happened over the last couple of decades
is that the sunlight seems much 'harsher', there is such a bright glare that it's really unpleasant without sunglasses,
and people seem to get sunburned very easily, and very quickly. Whether this is connected with the massive hole in the
ozone layer that is said to be over antarctica, allowing more of, or a greater spectrum of uv~cosmic rays through is
debatable.

Scientists may be pushing a particular theory (or concealing one) for any number of reasons including
fear of loss of research grants, university tenure etc. and they are only to give measurements based on the tools that
are currently available to them. Lets not forget that any paradigm is just that, wasn't too long ago we lived in a
geocentric world.

Another thing that's been gnawing away at me is Gurdjieff's assertion in Beelzebub's Tales.
His comments about the moon are perhaps fairly widely known, but I kept thinking of the
following extract from BT regarding the sun while reading this thread...

many disinfo specialists point to the idea that professional photographers/movie directors/motion picture camera operators, etc., say nothing about this white sun.........

well, talking about photographers, light meters, ect.....i know for a fact that directors/camera operators for the major motion picture industry DO USE a boatload of photographic tricks to deal with the new white sun.

For example: they use darker brown-colord filters over the camera lense to mimic a yellow sun. I have seen it first-hand. (My un-lucky days working as a production assistant in/for major Tv and motion pictures) Western-style movies (cowboy movies) have used brown filters for almost 40 years to convey the effect of the old (brown-yellow) west...BUT, for the last 10 years or so, they are using even DARKER BROWN FILTERS.

AND

they are using brown lense filters in shots and places they rarely did before.

AND

all the people of power in the motion picture industry and most other industries are all part of one of the very private clubs (Freeemason, rosicrucians, Illum-i-naughty, ect.) Those STS's are sworn to secrecy....or you die.

also, what used to be shot in F 5.6 is now shot in F8 or F11.....or, obviously, a much faster shutter speed.

the over-contrasty-problem, is, well, still a problem.

take a close look at some movies.
compare movies made before around 1989 (+ or - 3 years), with movies made after 1989....even with the brown colored filters, the difference is quite obvious.

watch amination, any animation before 1990 with a white colored sun?   NO.

Look at todays animation, much of it has a white sun.................................................

Another possibility is that the Sun is getting brighter, not necessarily a different colour. I'm not sure how exactly the human eye works, but I do know it has both light/dark areas and red/green/blue areas. There might be an upper limit to the amount of light intensity a certain area can signal to the brain. So even if the Sun is yellow (red/green), if there is enough blue light in it as well it will saturate the blue signal of the eye as well and the mind will interpret it as white.
