In the past couple of years, I've noticed that I have a spot slightly behind the top of my skull, that stays open and seems a bit soft, like an opening in the skull.  I feel energy flow thru there, which I first felt when doing Qigong.  But now there's a "wound" there in the skin that never quite heals and sometimes it re-opens a bit, sometimes it heals up a bit.

Lately I've found that I can access the third eye -- I guess that's what it is -- if I lie in bed and really relax my eyes and have a really non-anticipatory attitude (just observing).  Sometimes I get an interesting movie there.  I've seen the matrix, I've seen little green men, odd three-dimensional shapes.  If I'm being attacked or for whatever reason feel anxious, I see yellow around me.  If I can calm down, I start to see better colors like green or blue, then start to see some interesting patterns, maybe then a "movie" i.e. get to watch something interesting.  If I can get into this state, I can always fall asleep easily, so it's become my usual bedtime ritual.

Think I'll see a "movie" tonight!

But some people say the third eye can see auras.  I see another world (or worlds?), with generally only creatures that one doesn't meet in 3D, but I have never seen auras.

It's food for thought for me.  I respect your points of view.  More insight is needed by me, I feel, before I can comment further.

Jesus spoke about 5d, which was the level his learning was at.  The soul is neither male nor female.  His words have nothing to do with agendas being played out on humanity on the 3d level.

It doesn't mention one life-time.  "One life-time" is a fear-based religious interpretation perpetuated on mankind to keep control.

Let me step away for a minute and look at this with fresh eyes.  Up to "and the upper like the lower", it sounds like the author is talking about 'coalescing' your concsiousness in truth, and living with a good dose of connection to and communiction with your Higher Self.

Crazy idea:  Starting with "and when you make male and female into one..." it sounds like a cloning gray-type agenda.  Does it not?  Think about it objectively.  I'm sorry if the Gospel of Thomas is too sacrosanct to be interepreted this way, but there is some plausibility to it.  There are forces at work removing the sexuality from human beings.  There are more boys with undescended testes these days that you can shake a stick at.  Male impotence (caused by physical and cultural problems) is at an all-time high and is increasing all the time.  Lesbianism is uber-glorified and worshiped.  So, we can see this is happening.  So, clearly, our natural sexuality is being removed from us.  But I ask, is it paving a way for "entering the kingdom?"  Or, is it the result of manipulation and things gone awry?

This makes sense.  I admit I was looking for a more esoteric sort of meaning.

Oh, ok.  So, souled humans which are infinite and go on learning for life after life... because they operated in fear in one lifetime and did not live life in a way to fully interact with God, they "become merely a dream in the 'past'."  Their "worlds will cease", plural, inferring multiple realms of existence.  So, essentially they lose their beingness in the present; they lose their soul.  That's what's being inferred.  Sorry, maybe I'm too dim to understand it, but I just don't buy it.

But if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty.

Here's the best interpretations I currently have for this particular verse.

¤ The physical realm is what is meant by "dead".  1d through 4d.
¤ The spirit realm is what is living.  5d through 7d.
¤ The dead are not alive. = The physical is not the spiritual.
¤ The living will not die. = The spiritual is eternal.
¤ When you ate what is dead you made it come alive. = When you incarnated in the physical (ate what is dead) you infused it with spirit.  Your vibration is felt by all that you come into contact with.

¤ When you are light what will you do? = When the physical realm is gone what will you do?  How attached are you to the physical?
¤ On the day when you were one, you became two. = You found yourself naked in spirit and choose to come into the physical to experience it.
¤ But when you become two, what will you do? = When you are in the physical what will you do?  Will you live from the spirit?  Will you shine for all to see?  Or will you become what is dead?  Will you take the physical as all there is and forget your home?

When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will understand that you are children of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty.

Can we have some interpretations of this?  Especially the last two phrases.  I'm not getting it...

I am not sure of this, but maybe it has something to do with this extract from the gospel :

"....
