I know from reading the Seth material that he had a very hearty, booming voice, which must have been a bit comical coming through the petite Jane Roberts.  But there was an even higher dimensional Seth called Seth Two, whose voice was high-pitched, thin and insubstantial. Very interesting...

Anyway...I had a roommate who was going to a group Emmanuel channeling, and as I had read Emmanuel and felt a kinship, I asked her if she would ask Emmanuel about the purpose of my deafness in this lifetime, and how I could deal with it better.  She did, and Emmanuel's response, which she wrote down,  was amazing.  Here's part of it:  "Dear one, there is music in you, within the silence there is sound, it is your own...how many would want to experience that silence--chosen, not inflicted."  He was very careful to strike a balance between pointing out the pluses while recognizing the minuses.   And, he hinted that my hearing would return at some point, but it was not the time yet.
About six years later I had cochlear implant surgery which did restore a lot of hearing, ehough to satisfy me, anyway.

My point is, sometimes treasures turn up in the most unexpected ways,
and from my own experience, info that comes through group channelings can sometimes be as personally relevant as that from a one-to-one session.  I also experienced this from a group channeling of the Pleiadians thru Marciniak (which I attended in person) after Bringers pf the Dawn first came out.

If you are needing a reason for being, let the reason be the one thing that will be with you throughout eternity--and that is called "love of self." That will last forever. Love for yourself will survive into eternity, while the purpose of being a this or that will be fulfilled in this life, only to be replaced by something else. Do whatever you can that will expand yourself into greater wisdom and more profound love for yourself--and that is doing whatever will make you the greatest that you can be in your own eyes, the most discriminating eyes there are.  You, master, are the purpose of life.

I can't help thinking that the last thing the PTB want is for us to listen to one who would have us actually recognize and utilize our true power,
so there are bound to be those who will do their best to mess with, vilify and ridicule such a source.

I do recall reading, some years ago, in a Kryon book (a source I respect), a question about JZ and her commercializing of Ramtha.  Kryon's response was that her work was greatly honored on their side, and that her making money from this was a non-issue.  Since then, I've read a lot of criticism of JZ, but Kryon's words stayed with me.

In the end, that's all anybody can do....make up their own mind.   And people are going to come to different conclusions.  Nothing wrong with that.

I'm not really interested in hearing what's wrong with the Ramtha stuff, and I'm not going to judge JZ Knight for wanting to keep some time and privacy for herself.  Just because she doesn't work one-to-one, isn't particularly outgoing, and her Ramtha events are pricey,
that doesn't mean her work is without value.  Ramtha is one of the sources I've studied (books) that have resonated with me, long before What The Bleep came on the scene. Here's a quote I like from Ramtha, on judgment:

When you look upon others, see them as an isness, and in what is termed an "evenness."  If they are being cruel and hateful to another, to say they are cruel and hateful is a truth, for that is indeed how they are expressing; that is their experience of isness. To say they are wrong, or bad, or evil
in that expression, is a judgment--which becomes wholly your experience:  alteredness.

People have the option to buy books rather than go to workshops, but if they do choose the workshop, I guess that's what they want, and they apparently can afford it.
