Silva and others have objective methodologies for assessing whether crop-glyphs have been created by human hands, or another, at this point unknown, agency/technology.
What actually occured in this case was that the person that created the hoax was eventually discovered to be a co-partner of a video/animation post-production facility, nuff said. The character only admitted his involvement three years later.

]]>As beautiful as they are, most of them look like hoaxed/amateur stuff to me.
While I can see how that may be so in the first link, I have to disagree as far as the second link is concerned.
The thing that strikes me about crop circles - the real ones - is their geometric perfectness. You can see that in the circles in the second link. I don't care what the debunkers say, I don't believe for a moment that anybody could create what we see in the second link with string and boards, (AND do it in such short time periods, to boot. Because you have to remember that most of these circles appear within a matter of hours.....) When I was younger I was a total skeptic of crop circles and believed they were all man made...til I researched the topic further, and learned more about it. The way the stalks are bent without breaking them and the other physical anomolies on the grain stalks, that's what really got my attention when I first looked into it. The real ones also give off energy that can be dowsed using dowsing rods, often times produce orbs and glowing lights in photos that are taken in them, and cause animals such as dogs to react negatively when inside of them. Real crop circles supposedly give off an energy that practically buzzes, making it difficult sometimes for super sensitive people to go in them for long periods of time. Considering that the circles are all man made according to the debunkers, I find it amazing that they can produce all of those phenomenon.
The faked ones are pretty easy to spot though - they're just sloppy, plain and simple. They lack the clean lines, swirled stalks that are bent without breaking, and the perfect geometry. Plus sensitive types also claim they lack the energy found in the real ones.
All in all I love crop circles, and own two books on the subject and used to create these geometry designs that were based on crop circles. The real ones are so beautiful.....whatever their actual source is, be it 3rd density government using high technology, or 4th density.
