My first "weird" experience was as a kid, maybe 4 or 5 years old. I woke up one night hearing voices in my house. It sounded distinctly like my mother and brother talking. It was about 3am so I wondered what they were doing up at that hour. The talking went on for a couple minutes. After it stopped I went into my parents room to find my parents both asleep. Woke up my mum to ask her what she was talking about and said she'd been asleep. Then I checked my brother's bedroom and he was fast asleep as well. Following that I had a few other experiences as young kid that have since faded from memory, but I still have inklings of them, like "feeling" presences in my room and being watched as I slept.

When I was about 12 years old, I had a precognitive dream, which was very explicit and clear, not just precognitive as in interpreting symbolism. That experience forced me to reassess everything I thought I knew about time and reality. Also at around that same age I went through a period of a couple months where I had a hard time understanding why "I" was in this body. I don't know how to describe this other than it was like a type of identity crisis. I think at the time I intuitively knew that my body was something separate from "me" and I felt trapped in it.

There's been a few other odd occurences here and there. I think the weirdest of anything I've seen or heard was hearing a TV speak while it was turned off. This was when I was at university. Myself and two friends were up late studying for a test. It was exactly 2:00am when a voice came directly from the blank TV and asked, "Why are you still awake at 2 AM?" None of us said this. There was no one else in the room or the apartment for that matter. We turned to each other with incredulous looks to make sure we all heard it. BTW we weren't under the influence of anything at the time, if that's what you're thinking. We sat wondering what happened for a long while and nothing could explain it. There are other times when I still hear voices while laying awake in bed. One afternoon I layed down to take a nap and heard breathing/gasping right next to my head. Opened my eyes and nothing was there. That one freaked me out a wee bit.

Suddenly, I woke up with a push and a shake from someone. I was lying on my right side, and I felt someone push and shake me on my left shoulder. It was very very distingtive and strong. I first thought was Anthony again, I opened my eyes and said " what?" then I realised there was no one there. At that moment, my puppy came charging in my bed as like he saw something. I looked at the clock....it was 2.30 am.

I look around the bed room everything seems ok so I went back to sleep and I had a terrifing dream witnessing a man got torture and punished by another man who appeared as a punisher. This punisher cut the vain off on the ankle and wrist of this victim to prevent him from moving and then pulled out his tongue and cut off the tongue and tossed it in the air. I screamed as witnessing that and the punisher told me not to be frighten but the bad guy is getting what he deserved for doing evil thing.

Then the phone rang and wake me up... I looked at the clock it was 6.10 am .

I went back to sleep after the phone call which lasted maybe few minutes. And I then had a second dream.

In my second dream......I heard a voice calling me. It was so real, it all happened in my bedroom. I looked around and see no one. Then I realised this voice came from my bedroom floor infront of my bed. It was staticky and sounded like thousand of miles away, but I can hear him clearly.

It was a male voice, very soothing, very comforting and he was telling me everything about my future and my children's futures. I actualy engaged in the conversation with this voice for a long time. It almost like I was consulting a fortunteller. I asked he answered and everything about the future. When I ask about my parent (deceased) the voice replied: " that I will have to look at the "Book of Life" ". All and all the voice was sending me comforting messages for the future of me and my children. In one sentence the voice was even saying in Chinese language :" I wish you Kong See Fah Chai" ( meaning all the best of Luck and prosperities).

damn i am so pissed, i spent like an hour writing about an experiene i had and when i tried to submit it it said pre-condition failsed, .....something false? and it wouldn't let me post it. Then i just typed in some dribble and tried that and it posted, what the hell?

It's wise to write long posts in a text editor, and then copy into the forum to post.  I know how frustrating this is.

FYI, the pre-condition failed is a mod_security thing.  It protects a lot, a lot of a comment spam, link spam, and referrer spam on thousands of sites.  Basically it looks for particular words or combinations of words or characters that are known to be submitted in comment fields by bots and sends them a 404.

One, huh.....oh lord.....I'm thinking..........just one..............hmm.....

Okay.  I have one that's more "normal" than the others, more along the lines of a typical ghost versus higher density entities and reality bending of an impossible nature.     Here it is:

In June 2001 I was moving into a room that I was renting in a house in SoCal.  There were three other roommates, (all adults, different ages and backgrounds) and a fourth, part time roommate who was also the landlord.   Prior to moving there I spent three weeks in another room across town;  before that, I lived for a year with my brother in the paranormal apartment from hell, which I deemed "The Vortex."  Some will remember the stuff I've recounted about that experience over on other threads, so, won't re-hash it here.  Needless to say, by June 2001 I was now well versed in the supernatural, had dealt with many many incidents of it in a direct, first hand way.  In the room that I was in for only 3 weeks there was nothing - it was "clean."   It was awesome.  There was absolutely nothing paranormal going on in that particular house, or room.   So, that was a nice little vacation after going through what I did for the entire year before.   

But now in this new place....as I was unloading my stuff to move into my new room, I paused what I was doing and just looked around, absorbing the feel of things, because something felt off.  Needless to say, I recognized the same "heavy air" feeling that had been present in the vortex, and I even thought to myself, "Houston.........we have a problem."   I frowned in a "hmmmm..." way, and went about my business. [note:  the "heavy air" feeling is in reference to the air / atmosphere feeling thick and heavy in an area that has paranormal stuff going on.  I don't know why this phenomenon happens, but it can get so bad as to make one feel weighted down, heavier, moving slower, and drained of energy.]

Right from the first few nights I was there I experienced the presense of a man standing at the end of my bed each night, just staring at me, VERY pissed off.  His presense would wake me up night after night, but I would be too scared to look. I'd pull the covers up over my head and roll over and just go back to sleep, trying to tune it out.   This went on for weeks, but I was so "shell shocked" from the vortex that I didn't pay it much mind.  Half the time I'd forget it had even happened by the morning. 

One afternoon after I came home from work I was lying on my air mattress, resting, and I felt a very distinct kick to the mattress.  BAM!  Like a big foot had kicked it.  WTF?!?  I thought, rolling over.  I watched as my cat, who was sitting motionlessly in the middle of the room, tracked something with her eyes as it moved away from my mattress and across the room.

Another time I was getting ready to go out to run some errands, and I had my headphones on playing music.  I was rooting around on my table, trying to find something, when I could hear a loud BANG! sort of noise behind me.   Could hear it over the music even.   I turned to look, confused, and watched as the candlestick that sat on top of my television flew threw the air and landed in the middle of the room, on the carpet.  (yes, I had a television!    I didn't have the cable hooked up though, on purpose, and just used it to watch movies.)     "ohhhhkay."  I thought, turning away from it, nervous.  Again, I tuned it out and hurriedly left to go run the errands.

At this point I realized I had to do something, so, I attempted to do a meditation one afternoon to reach out to whoever he was, to tell him that he had to leave my room;  I was using some of the same skills I'd picked up in the vortex for dealing with "stuff."    I recognized that this presense was very much human, definitely male, and very angry;  It wasn't a non-human entity like what we were dealing with in the vortex.   So I struck up a deal, because I knew he was (at one point) a human male, and so therefore could be reasoned with -   Roam about the rest of the house all you want - have all the other rooms if you want - but you just can't come in my room.  I told him (nicely, but firmly and kindly) that he needed to leave me and my cat alone, because I got the impression he didn't care much for her either.     All in all the meditation lasted for about 15 minutes, and I felt good after it was done.   

After that........the negativity stopped.  No more throwing shit around, no more kicking the bed, no more glaring angrily at me every fricking night, pissed off at me and the world.   But he was still there. I came home one night, and right as I was coming up the walkway approaching the front door the outside light went off, leaving me in darkness.   I just assumed it was one of the roommates playing a joke, and quickly got the door open to catch them in action, but nobody was there.  The kitchen and hallway were empty.  The only roommate that was home was Denise, who was locked away in her room, watching TV.  Could hear the muffled voices behind her closed door.  So then I assumed the bulb had just *coincidentally* burned out *right* as I was coming up the walkway.  Those things happen you know.     I flipped the switch, expecting it to be burned out, but the light came on, no problem.  So, it wasn't the bulb.  "Somebody" had just turned it off as a prank.  I was amused, not scared.  I'd rather have that then him throwing shit and trying to kick me.   

Finally I broached the entire sordid subject with my roommates, because I KNEW that I couldn't have been the only one to have dealt with this guy.  One night I was hanging out with one of the roommates, Todd, and he mentioned something offhand, can't remember what now, and that's when I said to him "Well, you know we have a ghost here...don't you?"

His face just FROZE.   It was funny.  Just stared at me wide eyed.   "Shut up!" he said.  Finally though he relented and nervously began recounting all his weird unexplained experiences in the house, most of which included "prank" type incidents along the lines of the outside light bulb mentioned above.  So, I got confirmation from him that he had indeed experienced some things.   Next on the list was Denise.  Todd and I approached her about it and she too had her unexplained weirdness.....namely, the feeling of a male presense standing right outside her window, staring at her in the middle of the night.   Close enough for horseshoes!   Then I talked to Dominic the landlord.   "Dominic....did anybody ever die in this house?"   The house had been his mom's before him, so, if anybody would know it would be Dominic.   The answer?   No.   Surprisingly.   He asked why, so I told him, not expecting to get much.   But shockingly, guess what....back when Dominic used to sleep in what was now Todd's room, he had an experience of waking up in the middle of the night on several occasions and finding a man standing at the end of his bed, glaring at him.  !   Dominic actually saw this guy, and described him as kind of Native American looking.  Then there was Marilyn, the crazy fiesty angry Brazilian woman with alcohol issues.  Oddly enough, she was the only one who hadn't experienced anything.  At least, nothing that she would confess to. She raised her eyebrows and shook her head with her arms folded.  Nope.  Never experienced anything.  Sorry.  In retrospect she seemed a little defensive about it, kind of stone faced.  I wonder if she was lying.

So at any rate, then there was the night where me and Todd were in the kitchen.  I was standing at the kitchen island counter, facing the kitchen and the hallway beyond, where everybody's room were.  Todd was in front of me, with his back to the everything else, eating his bowl of Mac n Cheese.  His bedroom door was open at the end of the hall, with his TV blasting in the room.   His bedroom lights were off, so the only light from his room was the flickering of the TV.   So he's shoveling in the mac n cheese as we're talking, and that's when I notice my cat come darting out of Todd's room.   She burst out of his room, ran a few steps down the hallway, then stopped, looking back over her shoulder at Todd's room.  Started to run again, but stopped, again looking back over her shoulder.  Like she was being chased out of the room, but was reluctant to leave, yet really had no choice in the matter.

I watched her, then followed what she was looking towards at the end of the hallway.  And that's when I saw him.  He was standing in Todd's doorway, illuminated by the light of the flickering TV.  A man, all black, like one of those "shadow people" I've read about on Art Bell's website.  He was standing there, half in and out of the room; could see his head (no face or anything like that; he was translucent fuzzy black) his right shoulder and arm, leg and foot, just standing there, watching my cat.  She stared at him over her shoulder, seeming nervous, then finally darted into my room.  After she left, he slowly turned and went back into Todd's room.  He moved very much like a real human.   

Todd saw me looking at something and said "What?" curiously.   So I told him, grinning.  I found the entire thing to be very funny.  Todd didn't, however.     It really scared him.   I don't know why I found it funny, I guess it was just a relief to be dealing with a human ghost for once instead of some non-human entity. The non-human ones don't have a personality like we do;  it's literally like dealing with an alien or another species.  There's just no real connection.  You can't talk to them, you can't interact with them.  They drift in and out like shapeless clouds of blue and white and don't seem to be aware of the humans around them.   

Anyway, my final incident of dealing with him happened one night in the middle of the night.  I was awake in bed, holding my cat and petting her.  That's when I heard something milling about my room, poking through my stuff.  Sounded like a person was right there in the room, quietly moving about.  Could hear them rifling through the stuff on my table, then moving over to my computer desk.  My cat was aware of it too, and was very tense in my arms, her tail flicking wildly back and forth.   Then I could hear him walking across the room, approaching the bed.

When he got to the bed I could totally feel him, just standing there, watching me.  Next to my mattress was an orange juice carton.........I heard the carton distinctly squeeze in and out.    This guy liked touching stuff, liked poking about and exploring.   Kinda weird and interesting.    But there was no hostility though, none.   We'd made peace, for some reason whatever I'd done had worked, although he clearly was disregarding my request to stay out of my room.     My cat looked upwards as he got to the bed and she just froze stiff.   Her tail stopped in mid flick and she just froze, looking up at him bug eyed. It could be likened to a look of horror. 

I laid there, not looking up, afraid to see him. I wasn't sure if he would be invisible or what, and I didn't want to know.   I mumbled "hey..." as a greeting, but kept the covers blocking my view.   And that was that.   It was my last ever encounter with him.   Never saw or dealt with him again after that, and I moved out not tio long after and went up to Portland.  When I came back briefly from Portland over Thanksgiving to retrieve the rest of my stuff I stayed in the room for one night, but didn't see or experience anything, either in my room or the rest of the house.  Don't know where he went, but he'd clearly been there for a long, long time.

I think that when it comes to human ghosts, they just want to be recognized.  They want somebody to acknowledge that they're there, dammit, and that's why they do the things that they do.  They start throwing hissy fits to get you to acknowledge them - throw stuff around, play pranks.  I think that's what was going on with him.   As soon as I acknowledged him and did my meditation, then began talking to the roommates and getting them to spill the beans about their experiences, that's when the hostility stopped.  After that he became neutral.  He still didn't like my cat, but that's okay.  He was no longer getting physically violent, which is all that mattered.   I think he was happy that somebody had finally openly acknowledged him and did it in such an open, matter of fact way.  I could be interpreting things wrong, but that's what it seems to me.

After I was fully awake, I thought most why I tried to spit fire and not about the situation itself. I mean I usually (never !!!!  ) try tp spit fire!!!

did you by any chance, say, play super mario brothers excessively as a kid??

Anyways I've had about 10 or so 'out there' experiences. I'll share one of my more favorable ones. I was at a rolling party about a year ago. About 7 people were there. Umm so yeah we started passing each other out.... not the smartest thing to do but I had never done it before so I allowed myself to get passed out. To get to the point they passed me out and wow just a lot to say to explain the feeling... but I remember passing out lights out and finding myself floating through space staring at this one particular star. It was a feeling like I've never felt before I could have sat there for ages staring at this star. I was sordof looking downward to my left the vision was sordof blurry hazy like. I remember noticing my surroundings but my focus was on this particular star. Next thing I know, I feel this tugging at me. Next memory while still feeling this tugging, is seeing a quick image of a galaxy where I was supposedly at staring at the star. Next thing I know I'm staring at two peoples faces staring right back at me as I'm hearing ringing/buzzing noises. The wierd thing is also that they said I was out for about 2 seconds, to me it felt like hours.

similar things has happend to me.

At my second astral projection I expierienced something similar as an abduction. Btw, it was the first and until now last projection I did successfull consciousnessly (not from a lucid dream, but from the wake state).

While trying to project I suddenly was in a room lying on a table. There were a few man standing around the table. One of them said: "Ahh, here he is coming!". At this moment I thought: "What's going on here? What are they doing with me?". I tried to get up from the table, but I could not move. What i did next was even more strange than the whole situation itself!!! - The first thought after I realized I can not move was: Spit fire!. I really tried to spit fire in their face. While trying to do it. I very, very slolw woke up. The scene faded slowly (ca. 10 seconds) into black.
After I was fully awake, I thought most why I tried to spit fire and not about the situation itself. I mean I usually (never !!!! ) try tp spit fire!!!

During the month after it I got two dreams which may relate to this:

In the first one I was in a room with my girl friend, another woman and 3 guys. The 3 guys started to have sex with my girl firend. ... She liked it (!!!) .... Then the woman started to undress. But under her clothes there was no human body. It looked like an alien. A perverted alien. I do not want to describe how exectly she looked like, but it was so ugly. Then I heard a thought in my head like: "Look what your girl friend is doing! Come on F**k me!". At this point I got lucid in my dream and thought: "This is all so strange. It is much to strange! This is not real. It is not real!" I even started to laugh in the dream, because it was so absurd. Then I woke up.

In the other dream I got ill and was brought to a hospital. In the waiting room there were many other people. I felt so sick, so I cired for help. Finally some doctors were coming and started to examine my body. They opened a vein from my leg and pulled out a lot of strange things. Like colloidal silver and other stuff I forgot (I was trying colloidal silver a this time because of an infection - It didn't help btw.). Again at this point I became lucid... and felt like laughing because of this bizarr situation. I woke up.

Things happened to start in real life:

It looks like other people can read my mind sometimes. Or to turn it around: I can place thoughts in other minds.
I'm a silent and a litle bit shy guy who sometimes starts day dreaming when a conversation with other people gets boring. The last weeks I started to recognize: Other people start discussing about the topics what I'm day dreaming! They change the topic to my day dreaming topic.
I tried to do it consciously, but this does not work.

Related to this. The last days my girl friend suddenly asked me: "What ???". I did not have said anything! I asked her what she has heard. She told exactly what I have thought!!!

Another one: After work I was in a store to buy a specific kind of bread. But the store ran out of it so I took another kind. While waiting in the queue to pay my goods an old man standing in front of me turned around and looked at my goods and suddenly said : "But this is not  that  kind of bread! If you want this kind you have to go to the other store around the corner!". How did he know what kind of bread I wanted??????

There is even more:
After I read about orgon and cloud busters I read an article who said everybody can remove (small) clouds only with his mind. I did not believe it, but tried it. It worked!!!! I removed a specific cloud! I took some minutes and my eyes were tearing but it worked!!!

Another thing: 2 or 3 times a year I take Ecstasy whith some good friends. The last two times when it was ending I got optics. Nothing special. But I could see structures on every material. It looks like slowly moving interference patters. I even learnd to control these optics. I could detatch the pattern from the objects zoom in, turn it, examine it. This itself is not very special. Some people, sometimes get optics/hallucinations from ecstasy even if it is very rare. But these optics stayed a hole week... and I was able to controll it the whole time. And since that: If I completely relaxe and place my mind in a special state I can STILL see this interference patters!!! But I lost the ability to zoom them, rotatete them, etc..
Well, since that I got very, very careful with any kind of drug!!! Somehow I think this patterns I can see, might someday be usefull. I can not describe it. But I do not want to open the door even further If I can not controll all these things anymore.

Ahhhh -  and 3 days ago I woke up in the morning and suddenly knew how I could control these structures/patterns even better - if I would take ecstacy again. I just know it. It is a special way to think. But I don't know how to put it in words... But I don't know if I will take any drug again....

It's so weird, since I began reading all this STS/STO stuff I have had 3 experiences which I only can describe as paranoramal, just damn weird!

The first one was I was lying in bed, I think it was about 3 or 4 in the morning and I could feel this pressure on my chest, I woke up but was paralyzed and was totally frozen but was fighting this feeling like hell.

After struggling to move my foot I managed to budge a toe or two and I heard this moaning thing, I kinda was breaking free of this feeling and managed to yell get off! ( or atleast I think I managed to yell it! ).

Now this is where it got weird, as I said this I kinda was still fighting this paralyzed feeling and managed to kinda raise my arm and do this pushing motion as if I'm pushing something off my chest, when I did this the moan turned into this croaking noise and
I gasped a pretty loud gasp as I saw to the right of me hovering a couple of meters above me this red ball, now I got a real good look at this thing, it was slightly smaller than a balling ball and was kinda quivering jelly like.

The trippy thing about this ball is that it had a face inside it and it didn't look friendly, it kinda looked like demonic and was constantly gnashing and changing shape and well it looked right royally pissed off! . I stared at this thing for about 5 seconds and then it got smaller and smaller and just vanished into thin air.

The funny thing i have always had this weird sensation around my chest area and never knew what it was ( at first I thought it might be some kinda spiritual thing, you know kundalani or whatever) but now  I think it was that dirty red ball demon probably feeding off me .

The second weird experience happened a few months ago, I awoke at about 10:00 in the morning ( nice and early ) and saw the walls were swirling with these strange patterns that looked kinda like t-shirts, it was so bizzare! These swirling shirt things were transposed on the wall and were moving about in a random fashion, this lasted for about 20 seconds until it faded away.
I have read about of Stewie Wild's stuff and he mentions something called the morph with soapy walls, i wonder if it could have been that? Weird, weird I tell you!

My last experience was in a dream state ( kind of). It was like no dream experience I had had. In the dream I was been lead by what I felt to be a man and women that were behind me through some sort of school, as they were taking me along I was looking around I saw another boy who I recognized from like grade 3 or 4. They took me into this reception area but it was weird, after reading all this STS/RA/Cass stuff I felt there was something wrong and was trying to get out of the dream.

Then it got really strange and scary, I felt my body being ripped from my bed and I was being dragged to my bedroom door, I couldnt really see who or what was dragging me but man I was squirming and putting up a struggle to break free.

Then I kinda put my hand up to whoever was dragging me and it looked kinda like I cracked something, like the space infront of me cracked, it was freaky. When this happened whatever was dragging me let go and  I instantly woke up still in my bed.
The thing that got me about this experience is that the dream felt like a dream but slightly more vivid and it had a vibe to it thats not like your typical dream but the bit where I was been dragged out from my bed felt nothing like a dream, that felt so vivid and real that it was spooky!

Well those are my weird and unexplained experiences, if you guys have had any weird or unexplained things happen to you it would be cool to here them as i think the more info we gather on these strange phenomenon the more we can compare and validate each others experiences.
