<![CDATA[Noble Realms — Early Christian Church Disinfo]]> 2005-05-30T20:06:47Z PunBB https://forum.noblerealms.org/viewtopic.php?id=1784 <![CDATA[Early Christian Church Disinfo]]> About the disinformation of the Catholic/Christian church...I recently decided to read the New Testament for the first time.  I'm probably forty pages from finishing it, and (since I've been reading it critically) I've found a couple of interesting passages THAT MIGHT shed light on the campaign of disinformation and/or the forgies of the holy books.

One such passage is in Second Thessalonians (2:1,2):

"1: ...concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and concerning our gathering together with him.  2: ...let not your minds be hastily excited or troubled, neither by word nor by prophecy of the spirit NOR BY AN EPISTLE SUPPOSEDLY FROM US, stating that the day of our Lord is at hand."

I could be wrong, but it reads to me as if Paul (the alleged author of 2nd Thessalonians) was saying that the Thessalonian congregation might receive a forged letter from people posing as him and the other disciples.  (Hence, "supposedly from us").  (1) either Paul and the other disciples were paranoid about this happening--anti-Christian factions spreading disinformation, or (2) it had happened already before and he was warning the Thessalonian congregation against it.   

How many forged letters were there sent out to the early congregations? 

How many of these forged letters (and possibly books) became doctrine?
