I bought a copy of the Lamsa version (based on Eastern texts) of the New Testament and am plodding through it--discarding what doesn't speak to my heart, and considering what does.

I've also come across a couple of neat websites, lately.

On the Gnosis page, I found an excerpt from the Pistis Sophia (a Gnostic gospel) that I thought might be of value to this forum:

(...taken from the Sophia of Jesus Christ:)

"The Saviour said: All who come into the world like a drop from the Light, are sent by him to the world of the false ruler and are watched by him...But I came from the places above by the will of the great Light, I who escaped from the bond of the false ruler, I have cut off the work of the robbers, I have wakened that drop of light that was sent from Sophia that it might bear much fruit through me and be perfected and not again be defective but be joined through me together. So that Sophia might also be justified and become a saviour and that her children might not again become defective but might attain honor and glory and go up to their Father and know the words of the first great Light."

What particularly caught my attention were the words: "I who escaped from the bond of the false ruler" and the claim of coming from "places above."

This hit me immediately as a possible reference to third density STS and/or fourth density STO.  It could imply that Christ lived before and evolved out of the earth-plane. 

I know this is no news to many people on this forum--especially those who've read the Ra Material blurbs about Christ, but I'd never encountered possible allusions like this in the scripture itself...
